Most of the products have come as advertised. The problem is with aliexpress itself. You CANNOT get help with an order. You cannot ever reach a live person. The email function for the site is unclickable. If a seller feels like not honoring your dispute, you have zero recourse through aliexpress. I have done a TON of business but am done. I paid $30 for cabochons in a really unique range of colors and they showed up the same 'ol cheap beads. Couldn't get my money back unless I spend a small fortune (more than I paid for the flowers) to send them back. You are 100% at the seller's mercy and for that, beware.
The price STARTED OFF AS GOOD. However I used Paypal (for security) which was paid off by my Credit Card. Because Aliexpress classifies themselves AS A BANK (saves sellers a few cents) Capital one look at it as a BANK TRANSFER, charging me a $10.00 "Cash Advance Fee" (which they give to banks but not merchants) along with a $. 50 Interest charge on the $16.01 purchase, almost doubling it. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with Aliexpress to get this corrected, as there is no method of communicating directly with them, and they do not let you know this will happen. Simply in your head know that they will add about $10.00 to the cost of your order.
If you buy anything from Aliexpress you will regret it. They are a bunch of theives and as for buyer protection they haven't a clue. I ordered a galaxy phone from them On Sept 1st $227. It was marked as frozen then I was told I would receive a refund. Thats a joke HOW DO YOU COMPLAIN. They have put in a complaint system which is impossible to operate. Clever people are these Chinese CROOKS. Dont be foolish enough to think this is an isolated case, Read other reveiws, they all say the same thing. If you have money to throw away then give it to a charity.
I ordered several boxes of artificial boxwood hedges and they seller refused to ship the product unless I paid an additional $200 due to increased shipping costs. I refused to pay the additional money and opened a dispute. The shipper then agreed to ship the product, but they shipped it to California and not Tennessee where I live and are currently blaming the post office for not delivering it to the correct adddress.
I firmly believe they shipped it to their US warehouse knowing that Aliexpress will sode with the seller that it was delivered.
I am currently out hundreds of dollars with no product and no recourse. I strongly encourage you to not purchase from this website or to do so knowing you may not receive your product and are unable to get a refund.
I will never do business with Aliexpress again.

No progress on the Arbitration. Ali Express ignores everything that is presented too them, and just keep extending the dead line. Have present videos as requested but seem to upload them and even thought they let us know and we will help, they couldn't be bothered to help. Provided them with YouTube links but have just ignored them. I think that they just cant understand English!
Two parcels have not been delivered, each from supposedly two separate stores on AliExpress yet their responses are identical. Yesterday when I queried these, they showed still in transit on the site. Today they show delivered and when I requested tracking numbers and name of freight/delivery company, was given fraudulent Australia Post number. Despite providing evidence of this, the 'final' response in less than 5 minutes said that it was up to me to get a statement from the freight company to say they had not delivered my parcel. What delivery company? Despite showing screen shots of this ludicrous conversation, they still will not contact the seller to pursue the required information, and of course, I have received none sense replies that the parcel has been delivered with no proof of that whatsoever. Oh, and a notice yesterday that my package has been upgraded to 'combined delivery', suggesting the two packages will come as one. How interesting given they're saying both have already been delivered separately! Do not trust this site to provide any support to buyers.
I ordered a "Large Capacity Water Bottle with Straw" item by mistake with the wrong address, I contacted the seller to help me correct it and he told me to cancel the order and reorder, which I did. Only to realize later that the purchase money was deducted twice, I tried to contact the seller again but he didn't help me. I then contacted AliExpress customer service to complain and was told to wait 10 days to open a dispute. Days have passed and in my account all the details of my purchase have disappeared, as if they had been deleted, I do not know if by the seller or by AliExpress, but now I have neither my order, nor my money nor way to claim my refund.
I purchased a wig from this company and its company has not sent me away or my money back and every time I contact them they keep telling me they going to send me my money or they going to send me the quick and as of this day I haven't received anything I'm going to report this company because people don't have money for them to take especially people who's sick like myself for you to take my money and do what you want to do with it.

I file a complaint, throw in a picture and Aliexpress closed it because they find my 'evidence' not good enough! So 'buyer protection'? Buyer protection my *ss!
It is extremly diffiuclty to get a hold on real person in on-line chat, and no phone you can talk to either. And even you could get hold a person, and spent lots time to explain, and all seems fine and understood, but you will not get the solution as they promised (unlike you will exprience with Amazon's way better). Their customer service is designed to let you give up your rights, and the buyer's protection they promised.

I had a packagewhich the post office delivered to the wrong address. The post office sent a email to me explaining that the post office did deliver the package to the wrong address. I sent this email to Aliexpress and ask for either a refund or resending the package. I have neither so this is $14.27 worth of bad reviews for them. There are other companies from China which do a better job. Stay away.
I ordered football jerseys from Ali. There's a count down on my order from Ali stating that my order will be cancelled and full refund issued if seller does not ship in allotted time. I went ahead and cancelled the order beacause I wanted time to order elsewhere by Christmas. The items suddenly showed shipped three days AFTER I cancelled and Ali voided my cancellation request. I have a tracking number that still has not been updated in over over 35 days. I entered a dispute and my time to dispute was expiring. Ali asks if I want to continue dispute? I did and they extended the waiting time again. I will not receive my itens. I now know that Ali is working with these currupt sellers. Expensive lesson learned. I have friends that ordered with success. I'm out of $165. I'm not a gambler, therefore I'll pass on taking incredible risks like this to save a few bucks.

Robbery of 340 dollars on Aliexpress. Direct Aliexpress messages about 6 months warranty and direct messages from Aliexpress about quality product. They did send me broken, horrible phone and then ignoring me for 3 months already. Customer support is not aliexpress... they have no rights to help you at all, they are not even in china... just ousider company hired from Aliexpress to avoid contact with customers and emailing to criminals. I ordered a Thermos cap. They sent me several up-date emails about my order - over a 3 month period - in THREE DIFFERENT LANGUAGES! They charged me twice. Finally I receive an up-date email (in Spanish) stating: "Bad news about the order. The order confirmation period has expired." When they offered that I enter my dispute, I could only select AliExpress options on the website, so I was forced to choose the option "product did not arrive", which had nothing to do with my dispute.
