Paid for ($284) a guitar with beautifull wood texture, really sharp guitar, placed order waited 3 weeks, received the guitar and totally different than what I ordered.
Contacted seller who informed me all wood texture is different, therefore no all guitars look the same. I sent a picture of received guitar to seller, but they acted like you bought it, so... Received a nice guitar, not what I orderd, would not have ordered this guitar if I knew i would receive a different one.

Ordered 2 kids car motors. Got sent the incorrect ones - totally different to what I ordered. Was told I had to pay for return postage and the seller would not reimburse me. I declined, opened a dispute. Then aliexpress found in sellers favour - despite me explaining numerous times that I could not use the motors and they are not the ones I ordered. I appealed the dispute and they rejected my appeal saying the motors still have value and I should have returned them AT MY OWN EXPENSE... WTF! Even though the seller made the mistake. Went onto aliexpress chat to make a complaint - several times - they kept disconnecting the chat when I wanted to make an official complaint regarding this. Where is the complaint's department. SCAM SCAM SCAM. So much for having consumer rights!
I had purchased a set of 50 MicroSD cards for my business that was advertised as $0.01 each, it took 2 months for the tracking number to show it was delivered, delivered where? I never received anything and the tracking number provided didn't even exist. It was not a UPS, UPS, Fedex or DHL tracking number, it was a fake made up tracking number to trick you into believing you will receive something when you won't! Don't buy from them, they are a bunch of scammers!
Very difficult to communicate with AliExpress directly when you need to - their AI service sends you in circles. I have experienced a dishonest seller - though i got my money back from AliExpress, it was frustrating/angering having to deal with that seller first. Delivery from China seems quicker through eBay than AliExpress.
I have discourage everybody to buyelectronics and in particular mobile phones on Aliexpress, no matter how attractive the prices seem to be. Most shops send the phones with a PIN code that you only get when you leave a 5-star rating. This makes the whole rating system worthless and the observant shopper on Aliexpress will also see that almost all shops have a very high rating.
In my case the phone immediately had a defect (stripes in the picture) and the phone went dead after a two months. Return took nearly 60 euro and since I sent it, there is no response anymoret. The returning process (RMA) is not supported by Aliexpress. If I'm lucky I might still get another phone sent again one more time, but I probably should pay to Customs (import duty and VAT) again. That cheap phone is suddenly not so cheap... and also the replacement phone will of the same poor quality... Don't do it!
I purchased a Ender 3 pro from Aliexpress which ships from US. Creality send me a notice they dont have shipping service to Hawaii and wants me to start the cancel order and refund my money. This is unacceptable response and behavior on Aliexpress and Creality. I purchased many item in the past and this is the first time I get a Lame excuse they don't have shipping to Hawaii. Please pass this on to other Shopper to avoid Aliexpress Creality USA for the action they take to avoid expense lost to them. I included screenshots of my conversation with them. Notice it states (Free shipping Fedex. Shipped from US location) No shipping limitation are posted.

No one to call but just online chatting and waste of many hours chatting with no outcome. Online conversation keep disconnected and very frustrated changing person and asked you to repeat again and again and pushing you around the brush. Video cannot be uploaded to their website even with proof. Asking them to provide their email address, they refused thus intentionally delay till the time over and not helping at all. Such a big company but no one can provide an email address and let their IT technician to upload the video. Video can be send to seller with email address but cannot upload to the website, what a joke.

Can't say it's worth the experience. Most items are being shipped out of China and it's hit and miss if you actually get what you ordered. I say hit and miss because I ordered two exact match items but they were different physical dimensions.
Chief complaint: I purchased a Thermistor for my 3D-Printer and it was found defective, kept cutting off and couldn't reach temperatures as described. I purchased a replacement and that worked fine. When I asked for a refund pictures were not "proof" for a refund. They wanted a video of the installation process and what the problem was. After weeks of emails (days between responses) my claim was refused for "lack of evidence".
I will not use them again!
I ordered two items in November and I got them last week in the beginning of March. Although I ordered some stuff in December and got them in February. So, if you need something fast - it's risky to buy from Ali.
You buy and pay for something thinking you are getting a deal. They send you something worth about a 10th of the value of what you thought you bought. No customer service what so ever. Look elsewhere. Complete deliberate rip offs.
Aliexpress is an easy to shop from online shopping site. I have found this online shop suitable for buying products like cellphones, cellphone accessories and other products like earstuds and stencils. The pricing and delivery systems are worth visiting this shop.
I'll try to concentrate my 10 years experience with AliExpress in several advises:
1. Don't buy ANY EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT there. They will refuse to refund if it is lost in your country or if delivery takes long time, because their "protection" is gone.
2. Don't buy ANY batteries there, you never get described properties and they will refuse to refund because you are not a "professional tester" of these properties.
3. Don't buy from recently created seller, it's mostly just fraud, with fraud tracking number. You will wait for your parcell untill their "protection" will gone and they will refuse to refund.
So oddly enough even though the email confirmation said the product was delivered on January 3... I received it today, January 14th. So it has been resolved, and it was clearly an issue with lost mail and not the seller.

I ordered a product from AliExpress in early December and was told it would ship on the 23rd. On the 23rd I received two emails, one saying my product would ship today and the second saying it had shipped two days after I ordered it. I checked their web site and found a FedEx tracking number stating it had been delivered and a picture of a package on a porch BUT not my porch and no street address. So I don't know if its true or not but I can't file a report with FedEx, only AliExpress can and AliExpress won't allow me to request anything unless I click on a button saying I received the package. So how does someone report they didn't receive a package? Its been almost three months, PayPal was no help so I am out $291.30 and there is no way to talk with anyone at AliExpress. This was supposed to be a Christmas present.
I ordered some silicone cups 3 months ago from Aliexpress. They work great so I ordered again one month ago. They look the same color but made from different material by different manufacture. I request refund but the seller (Hong, Hummim of Sumiwish store) said that I have to pay the shopping and it is very expensive.

Had countless purchases via this site. The delivery time is standard, however:
-You may receive an item you didnt order.
-You may receive nothing
-You may open a dispute on the case(mainly solved in your favor if you really got a problem).

Answer: Do not buy from aliexpress the quality is terrible and lots of sellers never send the items. Also they sell counterfeit designs too which is illegal to purchase.
