After I selected 3 books and attempted to buy them, your website did not accept the password you previously insisted I create. So I created a new one. Then when I returned to your website and to my cart, my 3 books were gone. And when I attempted to retrieve one of them, I was told it was no longer available, presumably put on reserve by me. And then there is your astronomical shipping costs...
I don't know what you think you accomplish by demanding your customers create passwords. The minute I find a large, online seller that will just let me buy books without a password, I'm done with you.
I want to give my credit card number and buy books. I didn't need some password when I bought books from brick & mortar outlets. I do not want to have to create, remember, store a password now. Just sell me my books.
When not signed in the price is two dollars lower.
