I was not familiar with Alibris when I placed my order so I didn't know if the site was a scam. But I placed my order and hoped for the best anyway. And everything worked out. I got a title I was looking for at a price I was okay to pay. I say go for it!

I love albiris and I'll be going to them for all my book buying needs from now on. I started ordering from them to get all the necessary texts for my classes and not only did I find all of them, but they all arrived in decent timing even though I ordered them after the start of the semester. There are no surprises with Alibris, you know exactly where your books are coming from, you're able to choose places that are closer to you, and the shipping charges are laid out clearly. I used to go to Thriftbooks, and even though I never paid shipping over there, there's absolutely no way I could've gotten 13 books (including a book that I've seen go for a ridiculous $100+ price in other formats) for about $110 including shipping like I did here. If you're not super picky about editions or having the absolutely newest copies, then Alibris is honestly perfect.

I was confused why the seller took so long to actually ship it. But it came within a couple of weeks and the price was phenomenal. It was my first experience with Alibiris but I will be shopping there more in the future.

Any (other than a new) book I look for on Alibris, I find. The search process takes seconds. Paying for it, including the information input required, takes a minute. The estimated time of delivery is provided in the form of a time range. And, almost all of my purchases have arrived within that range.

Simply put, all the agreements between Alibris and the sources of the books I order are kept. Yes, that's the way it's supposed to be and with Alibris, that's the way it is.

Although no photo, great description of this elderly book. Ordering is so easy and other books offered were consistent with previous orders from this book merchant. Highly recommended as never disappointed. Thank you.

It was really easy to find the book I and go through the payment process. I was just a little disappointed that the shipping was so high. I found lower shipping prices on other websites, but the books were more expensive, so this turned out to be the best deal.

I believed I was ordering an actual textbook, but instead I received an ebook. I already had access to an ebook through the university, and I want to have an actual test book to be able to highlight and have in the future. Completely disappointed in this. I will be returning this ebook.

I needed a specific book for book club and couldn't get it at the library and didn't want to pay full price for it. I received a hard back copy of my book in great condition for less than $10. It arrived much quicker than I expected. Overall very happy and plan to order again when I can't get the book from the library.

I put 8 books in my cart, used your coupon, was offered cheaper versions which I declined. To checkout. I signed in (member for years) and you denied my password. I reset it using the exact same password, signed in and my cart was at 0? So I tried to order the same books, but now they were not listed. Why?

1. I ordered a book and received one different from the what was advertised.
2. I cancelled one order but Alibris also cancelled another order which I did not want to cancel simply because the subject/topic was similar.

Since I no longer have Netflix or Prime, I'm more interested in building my classic DVD collection! No commercials, no fees! My holiday guests love looking thru my DVDs to select our 'after dinner' entertainment!

The prices are fantastic and that is enough to make up for shipping cost and extra time for shipping. And then knowing I'm supporting small businesses I feel so much better about buying from Alibris than from Amazon for those hard to find titles!

I would rather not. I would definitely rather not. This is more effort than I want to provide for a purchase. I do not want to write an essay for you. You ought to rethink this. I think I might not buy any more books from your site.

Excellent customer service. Goofed on forgetting to update shipping adddress, tried to course-correct, alibris gave clear and friendly instructions what to do before cancelling order on my behalf, I was able to reorder again.

Other than finagaling shipping prices (often items on my wish list don't have free shipping available), alibris connects you with nationwide sellers to find titles that are rare or harder to locate, often at an excellent price!
