Other than finagaling shipping prices (often items on my wish list don't have free shipping available), alibris connects you with nationwide sellers to find titles that are rare or harder to locate, often at an excellent price!

I don't like being on line and generally don't buy things off the internet. And as it becomes more and more difficult to find things in person- we've looked repeatedly for these items now- I am glad that we have a local alternative to the mega sites! Thank you

Magnificent locator for unusual and valuable books, that I'd otherwise despaired of again finding. The two out-of-print by Carl Ernst were worth everything in themselves.

My Shipping address is sometimes different from my VISA billing address. I wish it were easier to access my billing address details. I'm never sure I've filled all the blanks correctly.

I ordered my book on January 1,2025. It was sent to a post office box that I no longer have. I called the post office and gave them the tracking number. They never received the book. I only used Alibris because they have another one. I'll never use alibis again.

Offered code READ545 not allowed at checkout, no free shipping though over amount to receive free shipping and no live phone person in your system to straighten it out. But thank you, Albris, for offering these needed items! 👍

I had a book that was delayed by quite a bit several weeks. Alibris sent an email to see if I had received all of my order. I replied that I had been missing still one of the two books I ordered. They said they would look into it and in fact the book came 24 hours later!

I received my books very quickly. Each came from a different vendor but both were in very good condition. Overall, this was a wonderful experience with Al Libras and with the businesses which sent the books. Thank you.

Easy to work with, beyond the annoying questions you are expected to fill out after being asked a simple question about how it went. These days a simple " It went fine " turns into weather or not you might recommend us to your cat...or some such nonsense. Why is it everything turns into a game of twenty questions in order to buy something simple, like a book...

Alibris had the book I was looking for, the price was right, it arrived by the time promised, and was in excellent condition. I gave Alibris less than 5 stars for the online shopping experience only because they make it difficult to opt out of unwanted cookies.

Alibris has a huge selection of titles of pre-read books. It was easy to find the books I was looking for at good prices. This was the first time I placed an order and I learned afterwards that I could save on shipping by choosing books from the same sight.

Easy to find, easy to order. I love Alibris! Fun read, and you'll learn something! Who knew that Napoleon's soldiers, en route to Moscow... had buttons for their capes and uniforms made of cheap tin... which degrads and crumbles in below freezing temps... which may have contributed to the degradation of the great army of the republic's fighting capacity? "For the want of a nail, the horse lost a shoe, for the want of a shoe... " so goes the old british school saying.

My son wanted a disc by a favorite artist who didn't sell many copies. I could pay over $100 on eBay for this niche item. I found it at an out-of-state goodwill store on Alibris. For a great price. Only downside is shipping. Though it was sent right away, it languished with the post office.

At first I was concerned b/c it wastaking so long for the book to arrive. However, because it was so inexpensive, I invested in purchasing the book again. Then I received the first order - and soon after the second. I will share the extra with a friend.

The seller delayed seventeen days before shipping the item. A few days is fine; seventeen is right out. I directly inquired about having the shipping cost refunded. The seller has, to date, obfuscated in reply and largely ignored my request.

Disregarding the seventeen day delay, the item arrived in great condition as expected.
