The worse you can imagine on your first attempt to purchase from this store. Will not recommend. Would prefer better Bookdelivery or Amazon instead.

Has a fake set up on google which allows it to fake its google review rating - it looks like it has great google reviews but actually there is no way to review it on google so the reviews for this site are not transparent.

Google lists it as an unknown entity which indicates that there is an issue with the way the site is being listed - not in a proper way. As Google states this type of site is most probably a 'fake business, a website with misleading information, or a suspicious online presence'.

I ordered a book which never arrived. There was no contact from awesome books to let me know about this. I only discovered that they couldn't 'source' the book when I inquired directly - which seems strange as they listed several copies in stock when I ordered. Currently waiting for a refund.

Complete waste of time.

I tried to place an order recently with awesome books. Their website deducted almost €100 from my bank account and refused to accept or process the order. When I was shown an error message I contacted customer services multiple times, and all employees flatly refuse to accept any responsibility for the error. I have provided proof that money has been deducted from my bank account, and on multiple occasions awesome books have refused to accept any responsibility or refund my money. Customer service was initially only available via whatsapp and refused to provide an email address where I could pursue my claim. This site is untrustworthy - do not use!

Complete scam. Fake tracking number. No delivery. My book never arrived and there is no response from customer service.

As always, the books were as described and I received them very quickly.
I've never had any complaints at all, just great books and fabulous service.

Hi on the website i saw if you ardered in the next (22h and 30m) it will be delivered on friday but guess what it didnt it was delivered on sunday so on friday i thought it might be delivered on saterday so then it was saterday but it still hasnt came so i contacted costmer support but they said. IM SORRY BUT YOU HAVE TEXTED OUT OF THE TIMES WE ONLY ACSEPT 8-10 MON-FRI what! Then i got an email said trak your order but the buttone never worked. So i used the refrence number and whent to royal mail track my pakage then it said we will only provide an update when we deliver the pakage. Its a good website to order if you want to wait 3 days or more.

The book I bought was described as being in "very good condition" - in fact it was a complete mess. The dust jacket was largely destroyed, the inside front flap was torn away, the book smelled of mildew and was damp-stained. They said: "This book has clearly been well maintained and looked after thus far. Money back guarantee if you are not satisfied." That was absolutely false - I had to pay return postage, which approximated cost of book! A complete rip-off.

As a second hand book seller Awesome Books are as good as it gets.I've bought more than a score of books from them and if there was a quality issue on any of them it was sorted immediately in my favour.

I ordered a 2022 copy of artists and writers yearbook ( a reference book) only for a 1987 copy to arrive (a 35 byear old antiquarian book, worthy of beebs antique roadshow). Who would need such a thing as up to date informationn is relevent. Their phone number and contact form are inoperative. I've emailed several times and received once a debatable reply, but subsequent emails go unanswered. They proudly proclaim a grand ethos and business model, but fail to achieve it. Buyer beware you are entering a frustrating rabbit hole. I'm sorry to have to write such a review by am peeved at attempting to return said offending article and achieving a refund.

Ordered a book for grandaughter that should have included four miniature books inside the main story book. Condition of book was described as 'new' but, when it was delivered, three of the miniature books were missing and no explanation was provided. I emailed requesting that the missing items were forwarded to me but was informed that they weren't available. I was given a refund and advised that I could keep the item but disappointing that I had to instigate the query. World of Books provided a complete version of the book with all four inserts within days. Guess where I'll be ordering from next?

I received a book very important, rare and totally unobtainable here with one week of delay but very service, kind and quick Oood readers have no hurry. Buine Pasche. Happy Easter from Friuli (Venezia Giulia) I forget the price was the best of all the available offers.

I would avoid at all costs. They couldn't fulfil my order. Waited 10 days for book to arrive and decided to chase them up to see what was going on. Only to be told they didn't have it in stock and couldn't send my order. Very misleading website and no one though to reach out to me so who knows how long I would have been waiting if I didn't contact them.

Purchased 13 Topiary and also Japanese Garden Design Books. Books arrived well packaged and in good condition for second hand books. Loved the 20% discount code and the promise of books donated to children based on my purchase. They are now my go to Book Shop. 100% happy

Ordered 2 books have read the first now onto the second but i have found some of the pages at the top have not been cut correctly an have had to separate them very carefully.

I order fairly regularly at AwesomeBooks and over the last 6 or 7 years, the number of titles must be in the hundreds. I have ordered books, DVDs, Blu-Rays, CDs, etc. Most of them second-hand, some of them new. Some of them listed as second-hand but really as good as new.

On the odd occasion that an order got lost (somewhere between UK and ES), an email from me would suffice for them to promptly refund the amount paid.

The functionality of the website suffered a major setback some time ago when the site was completely overhauled. It appears to be more or less back on track now, though the search-bar still leaves something to be desired.

Overall, I have had very positive experiences with this company and I look forward to many more years of amazing deals on books and films.

I ordered three of the same books. It said it was going to go in print in a few days and then it would take 5-10 days to arrive.

So i waited until nearing the expected arrival. When i got curious and made an account to see if i could get more info. And to my surprise the status had not changed it was stuck on "Not Yet Dispatched".

So i had to contact support in order to see what happened. They had to contact someone else to find out what happened. Of course when you contact support you have to follow up. So i did and asked the next day. Which got the issue escalated.

The next week i got a response the books where no longer available and they had no idea when they would be back in stock. So i asked for a refund. Which wasn't a problem. So at least customer service was 5 stars.

Very wide choice of books and genres available in both new or used books. Excellent customer service, orders arrive quickly and in condition described
