As usual, right on! Such perfect bookstore sites must be supported by all of us! A wide range of books for sensitive and conscious people and a god choice of older publications makes this my favorite site!
I would prefer that my principle default address would be saved and that the other addresses would be optionally displayed for me to choose from. Instead of the last address that i sent a present to be presented as the default!
I have ordered and received used CDs from Alibris many times. I have found that the condition of the discs, as described by the various suppliers, usually exceeds their conservative ratings; it is usually the "jewel cases" themselves or paper artwork & liner notes that show age/damage the most and are likely a main factor in the rating. Swapping out cracked and marred cases for new(er) ones eliminates noticeable wear. I will likely order from Alibris again, when necessary.
I wish you had a way to browse by seller, ay e broken down by categories because some sells discount shipping for additional items. But overall I like your site very much - I trust you and feel good about buying from your site. I especially like the real rankings of sellers. I would pay more to. Up the same thing from a higher ranked seller, p.
I tried to order my book from that Big Book Gorilla (you know who I mean) but they were unable to get it for me after I waited a long time and ended up refunding my account. Alibris came through first time with no problems, and the book was delivered quickly. Thank you so much!
I found exactly what I needed, infact it was better than I had hoped! They have been checking this book out from the library, over and over again. Proclaimed it as "a favorite". I found it on Alibris in a special edition which gave me the favorite book + new information! Their favorite book, with more than they had read before! What a gem! This made all of us very happy.

Ordered March 8-received March 25. The book arrived in excellent condition. On the same order three other books, from other locations, all arrived within five days. Overall Alibris has been a great source of rare or out of print books
Currently replacing a prior order of DVD set which did not play. Pursuing refund for the first attempt. Coupon to help make up for shipping cost was appreciated. Should have avoided new seller without much track record - despite product billed as "new" and "in original packaging."
Confronted with a library book that was just going to be too large and difficult to read in the allotted time period. Same book (in excellent shape) available at a very discounted price. Seller was not next door but was in a reasonable distance from home hopefully facilitating delivery. And delivery was way quicker than expected. Alibris is my go-too book seller.
The vast library of available titles is a real asset when looking for specialized books that are generally unavailable for sale or even from libraries. Not a regular buyer but when I find a desired title, Alibris is my "go-to" resource
The merchant's description of the book I ordered was "Very Good" and the phrase "may contain some markings on the covers" was added. That underestimates the actual condition that I gave it—Like New. As Ira Gershwin wrote, "Who could ask for anything more?" Kudos to the seller!

Easy ordering and processing my order
I ordered the book, received it in record time, and had it all read two days later. I'm writing a podcast, and the research for that podcast must be completed in a timely manner. I was very pleased with how quickly this process unfolded.
I wasn't getting a response from messages to seller after several days, so I contacted Alibris client services. They responded the next day with relevant information and I received my book later that day.
I've been using Alibris for a long time and will never buy books anywhere else. I don't know why I have to continue typing more words just to hit a minimum character count in order to submit this review. Five stars for Alibris; One star for Sitejabber.
I go local first and then Alibris. Looking for stitched signatures and a book that will be read by generations? I come here first. "Perfect Bind," crappy glue, and paper does not deserve the name, "book." Finding hardcover, stitched and bound, or glued to spine cloth tape... sure.

Your store has on multiple times have found the older hard to find movies which has made me consider to only order from you. I also have gotten my order before the delivery date. I was really impressed with them then.
I received my order pretty fast. The cd works amazing. It definitely is a good deal buying dvds for the price and having it shipped within a few days. I would continue shopping for second hand dvds through this site.
Book arrived timely and in good condition. I've never had a complaint about Alibris or the book sellers. I always check Alibris first because they may have a better price on new or as new books. I also appreciate the ability to choose by price, condition, and other options.
