The overall reputation of the company is mixed, with some customers appreciating the variety and affordability of products offered. However, significant concerns dominate the feedback, particularly regarding customer service and support. Many users report frustrating experiences with delayed refunds, ineffective communication, and unresolved product quality issues, often feeling misled by the company's assurances. The Trade Assurance program is frequently described as inadequate, failing to protect buyers effectively. This combination of positive product experiences and pervasive service challenges suggests a need for improved customer support and better oversight of suppliers to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Their service was good and they arrange to communicate with supplier it was pretty helpful to me. They always consider not the supplier but the buyer.
Excellence shipment arrangement. Received order goods in 3-4 days which is beyond expectation. Very good arrangement for those who need to buy small quantity for trial.
I ordered a full spectrum sauna. I paid for shipping. When I received the package it was severely damaged. The shipper refused to ship it back, they made me take it from the dock. No one takes the blame for the damage. I am stuck with a broken sauna. The distributor won't even respond to my messages. I highly suggest you don't order anything from this site ever!
Trade assurance only seems there to pacify customers concerned with importing, but it proved to be completely useless for me. The seller knew what words to say to throw the Alibaba representatives off the trail of facts. My particular item was not damaged in transit and this was admitted to by the seller in the Alibaba chat where I kept all of my messages due to the constant warnings from alibaba to do so. I went around in circles with alibaba and they continued to ask for more and more proof no matter what I supplied. Needless to say it was an exercise in futility.
I feel really bad for the people that buy container loads of stuff and get screwed.
"Zhenglong sports utinsel company" and their sister company / broker "Wuyi smart vehicle company" are the company I purchased a sample electric ATV from. There were so many things wrong with it, from broken and sloppy manufacturing, to parts that appeared to have been laying around a warehouse and then thrown together (they were scuffed, dented, chipped, and rusting). That said I would have a useless pile of junk if I did not happen to be very handy with everything from welding, to rewiring electronic circuits, and generally able to fix all of the issues that the item shipped with. I also had to be able to source bad parts from other places. This "sample" is completely useless as a sample product for which I intended to resell on a volume basis.
Sourcing from Chinese suppliers and manufacturers via Alibaba is useless due to the extremely poor communications and/or translation software. China will not be a viable country to source products directly from as long as there is this poor communication and poor quality control. At this point anything I source for resell has to come from a third party (if it comes from China) that does their own quality control and has easy to understand fluent English-speaking representatives.
We purchased bathtubs through Alibaba using the trade assurance Programme as with an overseas purchase you have to pay up front to an overseas supplier. The supplier provided bathtubs which were structurally unsound with loose bases (we provided video) and taps that turned the wrong way according to international standards. The bathtubs will all crack within a few years and have to be replaced. Plus we look like idiots as all the taps turn the wrong way in our hotel. We were refused any sort of refund. I wish I had known trade assurance is not worth anything as I would not have purchased our tubs this way.
There are a lot of sellers who claim to be selling game consoles such as ps4 and Xbox one. Their common method of scam seems to be directing customers to communicate outside Alibaba. They will send a message asking you to contact their "sales manager" on WhatsApp or email. Once they have your attention to their method of communication they will then persuade you to make an order by offering unheard of deals via WhatsApp or email. Once you give the number of items and shipping address
They will then attempt to finalize their final stage of the scam. THE PAYMENT.
They will ask you to either send bitcoin or use money transfer agencies such as a western union. If you ask to keep all transaction via Alibaba they will simply reply Alibaba only allows Chinese suppliers to accept payments from customers.
I've even had a few of the scammers act like they are located in America or Japan whilst their IP address shows their location in India and Nigeria.
MY BIGGEST QUESTION IS THIS!
HOW COMES A MASSIVE COMPANY LIKE ALIBABA IS ALLOWING THESE IDIOT SCAMMERS TAKE GENUINE BUYERS MONEY WHILST CONDUCTING THEIR CRIMINAL ACTIVITY ON ALIBABA.COM. I MEAN THEY NOT HIDEN AND BELIEVE ME THEY ARE NOT HARD TO FIND. JUST TYPE IN PS4 CONSOLE ON THE SEARCH ENGINE AND THEY ALL POP OUT LIKE ANTS.
IM VERY CONFUSED! I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND WHY/HOW THIS HASNT BEEN DETECTED YET!
I had a deal with a company named lucky lips form south Africa, after I sent the prepayment of 2500 USD they ask me to pay the shipment insurance (1200 usd) which not included in our agreement than when I asked them to cancel the deal they asked me to pay around 900 $.
I dont know what I should do, I am really very sad for that.
1 rating is also so high and there is no 0 option.
I have ordered one product and still i am waiting for this after that i have raised the dispute for refund but still i am waiting for refund.
I will recommend to others dont buy products from thi seller.
When you are thinking of ordering a bubble wall from China, stay away from Guangzhou Top Star Technology Co Ltd.
This is the first time ever I bought something from China and it was the worst experience ever. In June, we sent a video clip to TopStar Guangzhou that we want a bubble wall just like in the video. TopStar Guangzhou claimed they can do it. Unfortunately after the full payment is made, and numerous communication during the production, the final product is nothing close to what we wanted. We were already very disappointed and frustrated then as they demanded additional money if we want the exact same bubble wall like the video we sent them. They are such rip off as they said yes to everything you asked for but change their words and said those are additional programming that we have to pay additional money.
We have no choice but to accept what was produced since we have paid US6000 for it. After a long wait for the bubble wall to arrive in Australia, the product does not look like anything worth USD6000. It infuriated us that the bubble wall was with defects! Very poor quality! Furthermore with the amount we paid for, we didn't even have a remote control to switch on the lights of the bubble wall. The stupid design does not even have a on off buttons. All the water pump are exposed out. There was no communication of the design of the wall until it is shipped to us. There is no black and white documents to outline the terms and conditions of the sales. The terms are totally unfair to consumers.
When we demanded a refund for the defective part of the wall, they ridiculously said they will give us a credit when we make another purchase. What fair trading is there? Why would I still purchase from them when I know their quality is so bad? After I made many complaints to them, they finally gave us a small refund of only USD100! I strongly do not recommend anyone to source anything from China. They have very poor quality control, no customer service and they are very dodgy.
Stay away from ordering any electrical products from Guangzhou TopStar Technology Co Ltd.
They called me about my dispute and implied I was the one who needed to call Fedex to sort out the issue. When in a million years does the customer call the shipping company to sort out an issue? They clearly have more vested interested in their Chinese suppliers than they do in the customers the products are being bought by.
DO NOT TRUST THEM!
Was banned because I signed up via the app, which puts the account details into the database incorrectly. Confirmed this both with a new test account and by talking to support. They refused to correct the error, saying it was my fault and I had to go through a proper process to appeal my account which was rejected for the same reason I was incorrectly banned in the first place. 0/10, would rather purchase from a less sketchy careless site.
My builder ordered bifolds with a five year warranty on a recommendation. When the doors were fitted it transpired that the handles were not up to Australian standard and broke on installation. Vincent the contact at Superhouse confirmed he would replace three complete handles with locking mechanisms. Three single handles arrived without locking mechanisms or the handles for the other side of the door. It was ridiculous. Plus they had altered the mechanism so the old lock would not have fitted anyway even if it was to australian standards. When my builder and I informed Vincent from superhouse that he told my builder he did not believe him. He insisted his staff had sent three complete locking mechanisms. I have since e mailed Vincent at superhouse with photos of my bifolds. There is no locking mechanism and my builder for security reasons has had to put wood through the lock to keep it secure. I have sent photos to superhouse and they have refused to respond. They have said they will replace THE WHOLE HANDLE SET FOR $400 Why should I have to pay for this?
They are the worst company DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM.
If you look at the reviews on Alibaba they are all the same. They are crooks! And guess what I tried to add a photo but wont accept anything more than 5
After checking, we notice the supplier's Alibaba.com account used to be hacked during the transaction. As a neutral information exchange platform, rather than any law enforcement authorities, we couldn't do anything if their account has been hacked. Thus we are unable to help you further for this trade dispute issue. Consequently, your complaint case has to be closed now.
A big multi billion dollar scam, I've just been scammed by there suppliers and been sent nothing, I've spent more than 900 US dollar on a product that never came to me,
I tried to complain but that scammer removed that URL so can even fill out the form without that specific URL as per alibaba and 100 theif on there website advertising scam products, now I am out of pocket and don't even have milk or pampers to buy for my kid any more, hope they'll get hit with a big loss as they are scamming people and no one takes action against them, I will sue them for advertising fake resellers who will just run away with your money and sends you nothing, be ware online buyers alibaba is running a big scam
I will never use or recommend Himark Faucets in Kaiping China, I had placed order with them paid 30 % deposit early February landed in China to inspect goods before paying 70% balance i was only suppose to be there for 10 days i ended up having to stay there for 45 days as they kept me from looking at the goods, lie after lie as i kept going back to there factory they packed all my goods so they now had to be unpacked and checked to find out they didn't do as we agreed upon so i had to work in there factory for 2 days straight to correct mechanical problems then we packed all goods back in boxes, there was one pallet of faucets they kept me from inspecting as when all goods arrived in Texas i flew to check this pallet and found they had left out a sticker in each faucet box and put wrong grub screw in each handle, as i could not do anything about this because i did not have the stickers and screws with me which were vital to the product as these faucets are a child safety product also absolutely no quality control, Alibaba made it hard for me to file a dispute. Leaving China i was fined $200 USD fine for over staying my visa, changing flight 2 times cost me and all those extra days for hotel nights, this company is one big problem.
We had a bizarre sex toy (had to Google the description to find out what it was) arrive. Something I wouldn't pay. 02 for never mind the $55. We actually lost. Why would they do this? Most bizarre. I took pics of it trying to figure out what it was. Super angry.
My order never arrived. After checking the order a couple of times, now that I'm ready to file a complaint, I can't get back onto the website. I can't find a way to at least find out why I didn't receive my purchase nor to try to get my money back. The good news is that I only lost a few dollars, and now know enough to never, ever do business on this site again.
The Alibaba trade assurance scheme wherein they charge a premium to supposedly guarantee product is a massive fraud perpetuated on innocent customers. If more money was involved, I would have considered litigation. Their entire "trade assurance" consists of asking for the fraud suppliers for an explanation to your complaint and then rejecting it when the supplier rejects it for whatever flimsy or false reason they cite. There is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at Alibaba to speak of, the complaint keeps getting pushed from one bot to another in circles till the time you get frustrated and write off your money. KEEP AWAY!
I bought couple white water rafts from Qingdao Ilife Industries Co., Ltd.The rafts were okay but they took a very long time, 2 months longer than they said it would take. Not to mention they shipped the worst paddles ever and when I asked them to send me the correct ones they said the ones they shipped were better. I complained and said I wanted the ones I paid for and they refused. Said they would ship it on the next order. Sure thing, I'll order again... NOT!
Answer: Nothing you can do i was ripped off and alibaba wont help you i suggest that you have learnt a lesson dont trust Chinese companies more rip offs then good stories
Answer: Definitely not. I spent £1000 and never received goods and no money back
Answer: I would recomend to purchase only from people who have pay pal! And be carefull because there are a lot of sellers that just steal your money!
Answer: Do not do it!~ they are scammers. It is way to difficult to figure out who are scam sellers and who are not. And there idea of protection is a joke! Do not do it. If they are cheap there is a reason why... think about that! Dont do it!
Answer: Alibaba does not offer any protection from either scams or mistakes. Dispute resolution to them is you lose your money or pay more money and then lose it. Only pay with CC and then give alibaba 1 chance to fix then dispute with CC company and get money back. IMPORTANT in contract state that you get a full refund of any monies if their are any problems.
Answer: I would echo Hugh K's comments. Never ever rely on Alibaba whether the supplier is trusted or gold whatever. Insist on paying via PayPal. Ask seller to send you PayPal invoice and before making payment, call and confirm with PayPal if you are protected by PayPal in case seller doesn't deliver as promised. Personally, I stay away from purchasing via Alibaba. Try Dhgate.com. I'm doing all my business from this site
Answer: Hi Bud, this is Echo from Alibaba Customer Service. I checked the name you provided and this supplier came up: http://vuidding.en.alibaba.com/. If this is the supplier you are referring to, please click the following link to get live chat service from our service consultants: http://service.alibaba.com/buyer/contact_us.htm. They will check out the reputation of this supplier for you and provide you with some safe trading tips. Have a nice day!
Answer: If reading the reviews does not answer your question then nothing I say will have any effect at all on what you think. If you have read these reviews and you buy from this website then you must want to lose all your money, therefore it would be a better idea to give it to a worthwhile charity
Answer: This is what they tell you but in fact it doesn't happen. Alibaba only look after their traders. The traders buy gold supplier stars like we buy lollipops. Gold star supplier means nothing. Ghangzou Mega Beauty firstly showed 3 stars, the following week 4 stars, following week 5 stars and the next week 6 stars. I complained to Alibaba who don't care as long as they get the money. Now DHGate do not release the payment until you receive your goods. Buy from DHGate to ensure you are not scammed.
Answer: Theres a lot of corruption with the vendors on Aliababa... its russian roulette
Alibaba.com is the world's leading wholesale trade platform that connects buyers and suppliers from around the world.
