Aleks is downright awful. First of all, if you get one problem wrong in a topic it makes you go back and adds an extra problem on top of the other ones. Plus it forces you to do a knowledge check when it doesn't even count towards your grade! And if you get something wrong on the knowledge check it makes you do a prerequisite topic after that! It's ridiculous. Worse online math course ever

This is the worst possible way to learn math. Every time you get something wrong you go down an answer. You do not learn anything whatsoever except how to memorize answers. Don't waste your dollars on this piece of $#*! website. Very stressful and time consuming. WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND!
I actually feel like I want to kill myself doing aleks. Every time you get an anwser wrong, you lose progress. And the questions which are supposed to match grade level don't at all. I spend 2-3 hours a day trying to get at least 3 topics done and over all it just sucks. Worst review I have ever given.
U tryna find the surface area with google? Good luck, Alek's answer are messed up, they aren't correct. I mean the surface area of 2, 3, 6 in a rectangular prism is 72. (According to google) but aleks will probably say its 70 or something. Its $#*!ing autistic.
I hate aleks math so much that i call them up once a week to remind them that i hate thier product and that it is absolute trash. If i get a problem wrong, I dont care mark it wrong but dont make redo the whole f**king thing because i cant get the exact answer f**king you want. My disappointment is immeasurable and my life is ruined
After 1 day of using ALEKS, I'm seriously contemplating dropping out of my math course and finding another one. I have been working on this site for 8 hours straight and I still have 60 GD knowledge checks before I can even attempt the homework. I took the quiz and got an A, but apparently knowledge doesn't matter on this site. Just sheer volume.
All other math classes I've taken through my college's online program have used Pearson's MyLab. Do yourself a favor and avoid any class that uses ALEKS.
I punched my laptop so hard while working on this fantastic website that it completely shattered my screen! This was great because I've been needing a new computer for a while and now I finally have an excuse to get one. Thanks Aleks! (Real story btw)

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. There is so much unnecessary work that needs to be done on ALEKS. Half of their explanations don't make any sense, the last question they ask you in each topic is always seemingly a trick question, and if you get the last one wrong, you have to do like 2 more problems in order to even see the light at the end of the tunnel again. I'm in virtual school, and unfortunately, I'm forced to use this stupid program. I hate it. I hate it so much and I hate whoever thought it was a great idea to even make this stupid site. Idiotic. Absolutely dreadful.

I have been using aleks in my math class, we have to do an entire pie slice as a major test grade, and if you do not complete all of the pie slice by the given time you'll be making a 70 for a test grade, even if you had 1 topic left you would not be given credit for the work you did. I cannot stress enough that I hate this math website, you do not even learn what they put in front of you. Many people in my school have talked about how much they hate aleks, it puts on too much stress to finish it, and if you get a knowledge check it will kick you back to the last pie piece and make you complete those again before you can finish the one that is currently due. As someone who struggles with generalized anxiety disorder this sets my anxiety through the roof. I cannot tell you how many times I have just broke down into tears trying to finish my homework. This website is not made to help you learn, it is just an easy way to have teachers put work onto students with out doing any teaching.
