The company's reputation is significantly marred by overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding its educational platform, which customers describe as ineffective and frustrating. Many users express dissatisfaction with the program's design, claiming it induces stress and confusion rather than facilitating learning. Common complaints include poor explanations, a punitive grading system, and a lack of engaging content. Additionally, customer service experiences are often characterized by delays and unprofessionalism, particularly concerning billing issues. Overall, the sentiment reflects a deep frustration with both the product and the support provided, indicating a need for substantial improvements in both areas.

Sure, ALEKS does help homeschoolers and some kids in school. But the kids in school though. This suc
Im going to write an actuall review instead of these 12 kiddies who cuss alot its not that great at teaching you stuff
Take this enslaved depression down as soon as possible so take this $#%$ing %^&% down all right just it is so annoying and broken
IT IS NOT FUN OR HELPFUL AND IT HAS REALLY ANNOYING QUESTIONS! IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT USING ALEKS, PLEASE DONT! IT DOES NOT HELP YOUR MATH SKILLS AT ALL.
This website is utter garbage, and proof that the schools using this ¨website¨
Are putting profit in front of kid´s education and love for knowledge. I´ve used this website for a while and it is boring and garbage.
Aleks is almost depressing. This program doesn't effectively teach you what you need to know. I was surprised when my college professor mentioned us not having a traditional math class and that most of our work would be done on Aleks which I thought was odd because I like many are used to learning from a board, textbook, and handouts.
When you first open Aleks you take a knowledge test or at least I did for Math. The knowledge test is basically seeing what you know and what you don't know. The material that you don't know will be a pre-req that you have to do on TOP of your assign topics. So that leaves you with a bunch of pre-req's and topics.
Aleks for learning isn't productive for a student. Aleks actually causes some serious stress. Every answer you answer wrong you'll have a point deducted and then you're panicking as you try to find the right answer so you can get it over with. The videos aren't helpful as some don't explain everything thoroughly and I had to let me professor know this so he could send me videos on YouTube to watch so I can learn.
If I wanted to learn online I would've took an online class but I didn't. I just cannot learn this way and I spent a solid 24-30 hours on this garbage a week. I basically have no free time because I'm trying to complete all of these topics before the due date (which is every Saturday before 11:59.). I haven't been able to touch base on my other subjects because I'm always trying to complete a billion and one topics.
Aleks isn't helpful for learning and I'll make sure with my next semester in Math that I won't need anything Aleks, Connect, or ANYTHING online based.

Do ALEKS every night. 10 topics a week. I swear it will cause eternal suffering in your entire bloodline. The mechanics are tacky and stupid, the directions aren't clear, and it just gets so boring. Ever try to use a compass with a computer? How about a protractor? I highly recommend committing suicide or cryogenically freezing yourself until ALEKS gets removed from the 3rd dimension.
Aleks, where to begin...
IT SUCKS! IT IS THE GREATER EVIL! 88% of students say that Aleks does not help them. Statistically speaking, Aleks is stupid. Aleks doesn't help kids learn, instead it causes kids to go into eternal depression. This issue stems from the core of Aleks, it's creator, is from the 1930's. He has not adapted to the times, so the program is still barbaric. Schools are changing, the way we learn is changing. This change is why Aleks can step out and leave the scene. Learning with Aleks does not work and instead causes major mental issues. A system like this cannot stand. That is why we need to get rid of it and move on.
I'm using this piece of s*** program in my precalculus class. Used to love math but now I've learned to hate it thanks to ALEKS! I'd like to say f*** you to whoever invented this and if I ever meet that m****f****r I'd f***** kill them! Nothing but stress and every f***** time I get the answer incorrect (I swear to God this thing likes to tell me I'm incorrect just to piss me off even when I have the correct answer) it sets me back in fact I was almost done with the f*****g objective and it kept setting me back 'cause I was "wrong" and now I gotta start the whole damn thing over again! F*****g nark! And when I'm confused like any good student I try reading through the explanation to get a better understanding of the problem however the explanations are too wordy and I can't seem to understand half the s***. Then guess what? After I finish reading the d*** explanation to try and get a better understanding of the content the program just throws another problem at me that I have no clue what I'm doing so I have to read through another s****y explanation and try to make sense of it. Honestly idgaf about getting every single answer right and earning 100% on the assignment in the end which seems to be the main goal here. Hell I wish my professor would just give me problems outta the textbook cause at least I can understand it. However ALEKS is like the endless cycle of torture I have this objective due at midnight tonight wish me luck cause I'm moving along rather slowly. Either that or just end my life pls and thank you
I am suffering a mid life crisis at the mere age of 16 because i am listening to christmas songs in the middle of september while stressing myself over aleks
Any school that makes you use this is putting profit in front of education. Its the biggest piece of $#*! waste of time. Frusterating, annoying, useless.
Alek is horrible. So horrible that I gave up. Dropped Out. And pursued my parent's worst fear as a pole dancer.
My life is hard... but its better than using this awful website.
Aleks sucks 100% :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: ( :(: (
It is complete rubbish to use and the only reason teachers use it is because it is easy to manage. What a complete rubbish piece of software. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Well, so many people are saying this isn't a good website. Personally, I couldn't agree more. I'd rather have Nikolas Cruz suddenly come up to my school and suddenly shooting at me. If I could rate this 0 stars at all, I would for the sake of my sanity. This is awful. All my sister is doing on this stupid $#*!ing website is answering questions completely out of her grade level and it's upsetting us both. I'm so glad that my school got bad reports from using this so now we don't have to do it anymore. I'd rather tie myself to a chair and get pushed from the top of the Twin Towers during 9/11 when the jets crashed into the building killing almost everyone in it. What the $#*! is wrong with you guys? I wouldn't recommend this $#*!ty website at all. DON'T USE THIS IF YOU LOVE YOUR SANITY!
Aleks is an absolute dumpster fire of a website and program. Staking the illusion of progress on the pie chart while all the while, confusing and infuriating the student to the point of dropping the class. Any college that decides to use this as an alternative for face to face or even lecture hall learning, should be sent to the most harsh jail that can be conjured up. Truly in all my times, I have never been more infuriated with a program and wish its creators nothing other than financial ruin and bankruptcy.
Way too time consuming, I have to work 5 days a week and I don't have the time to dedicate to this garbage excuse for hw. I have around 9 hours of work done this week and I still have 35 topics to go.
Absolutely ridiculous that professors are allowed to use this garbage. I hope whoever made this $#*! dies in a horrible accident
Answer: Because the ALEKS program is literal hell and we people are just showing our hatred for it
Answer: Most likely.
Answer: Yes deal with it
Answer: Because people want to commit suicide in an original way, and ALEKS is the best way.
Answer: I don't think so but believe me a class action suit would be an improvement
Answer: I paid over $150 for this sumbi**h, I expect it to work
Answer: No i do not think the website owner has issued one but I think the feelings for aleks would be "down the toilet"
Answer: I realize this reply is very late but in case for anyone who needs it: -Let's say you're learning how to use long division. They have 3 questions in it. You master the first one, then go on to the next one. You get the second one wrong, guess what? They punish you and take back your first answer so now you have to answer it again. -How fun! And don't forget the useless knowledge checks!
