It sucks, and wastes your time. Doesn't tell you how to do the math. Sucks to the extreme. Would rather do my entire math book.
Bad site not helpful and forces you to repeat problems if you get it wrong. It does not teach anything or show why you got the question wrong. It will make you sit there for hours just to finish a unit, whoever made this website should go to jail for torturing hundreds of students.
Aleks does not help kids learn math the last time my kid ever used it he was crying, when I asked him what was wrong he sais that he was getting them all wrong because they did them differantly than he was taught. I will never make him use this program again.
Not student friendly at all. All this does is take away time for doing actual homework. Why do people praise this piece of crap? Over, and over, and over again you just keep doing this. Teachers, you have other ways to teach kids things. This is not the way to teach kids. Please, do not torture kids with this.
Aleks doesn't help at all and I don't learn anything I just wanted to complete it and get it over with. Most of the time I don't even complete it within the time frame it's given to us. The knowledge checks is a joke and it just gives us more work. Several times I have 12 topics to complete it and I only have 2 days to complete it. How can anyone even manage that. I just don't understand why professors use this program and praise it saying it's the best program to learn chemistry. Hundreds of students doesn't find this helpful. There were so many times when I get 2 questions right in a row and when the next question was wrong I had to start all over again and it'll just take an hr to complete that topic. Had so many mental breakdown because of this awful program.
This software belongs in the absolute trash bin. It's too $#*!ing time consuming. I hate how this software takes off points if you get a problem wrong. It shouldn't do that at all. How the $#*! is this software supposed to be helpful for students, when it punishes mistakes. I have to use this god awful software for my college math class for this semester. When I get a problem wrong and it takes points off, I honestly want to pull my $#*!ing hair out or bang my head against a wall. The knowledge checks GARBAGE! Teachers, professors, or educators who use this $#*!ty software need a $#*!ing reality check. You are making students stressed, overwhelmed, and ashamed to do math in general. $#*! this software!
It hurts your eyes seeing such a plain and dull design, 0% student-friendly. Reaching a specific percentage is like doing 100 exercises for homework. As it is an online plataform forget about personalized teaching; if you don't understand you are $#*!ed. If you are tired of doing the knowledge check then $#*! you, you will have to complete the 30 answers perfectly or else you will have to repeat what you already know for doing what you need to do. If your teacher makes you get a certain percentage in Aleks, he is basically saying:"Waste your time doing what you already are supposed to know" You will end up using mathway or another program to complete the questions faster, not learning in the process.
This is just a waste of time and teaches you nothing. This site is so stressful and I hate it so much. I just had a mental breakdown because of this freaking site.
It wastes my time in class. Please don't use this. There are better ways to learn algebra. I recommend using something different.
Its really bad and waist mega time in my math class that i could be using to actually learn my math instead of doing math I already know
I hate this program! At this point I don't care if I get any f's on my gradebook. This is a waste of my time and honestly doesn't even teach me anything. I just get the answer correct and move on becuase I'm so irrated.

This is simply the most trash website you can use for any type of learning. I noticed plenty mention how it is terrible for math, but have you tried it for chemistry? Ho ho, one hour a week? Aww poor you, when it's chemistry, you'll be spending at least six hours minimum a week trying to finish a topic. I LOVE chemistry and LOVE to take my time on it. Aleks has other plans though. ALEKS plans to rush you as fast as possible and to still more than likely leave you not completing your topics, hence giving your no-$#*!s-given-$#*! a bad grade. If your instructor assigns aleks, DROP IT IMMEDIATELY. You will NOT, I repeat, NOT, SURVIVE!
This program will explain how to do the problem one way. You will master it. Then on the next problem you try to solve, it will mark you wrong because your answer IS wrong. When you click on the explanation to find out "why" it was wrong, you will find that the original segment you just learned from NEVER showed you the part you needed to know to not get it wrong.
I find this program demoralizing and stressful. I've gone down points, instead of up with this program. I do not look forward to using it because it reminds me of a horrible teacher I had that would purposely walk me into a wrong answer then humiliate me. Given this day and age where many people struggle with depression and low-selfesteem, I know I am not the only person that is upset by the method being used.
On the user interface end, I don't like that I can't bookmark the subjects I would like to refresh myself in once I pass it too quickly. Having to write down the name of the chapter, then scroll back through is very time-consuming to college students. It would be even better if you could choose to do a practice recap of only said bookmarked items.
This site is peepeepoopoo like this site is the quality of a god damn morgz video like jesus if i wanted to feel like im losing chromosomes id just watch 5 minute crafts the topics are dumb idk when the hell im gonna need to plot a point on a numberline to count ELEPHANTS like please just end me or this site like just take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down take it down
I am forced to do math in school i don't even understand. It makes no sence. It is just an excuse for lazy teachers who don't want to teach math out of a damn book!
Very trashy. If you want to have depression, feel free to try this program. $#*! This piece of $#*!. The creator of aleks, jean-claude falmagne, looks like a $#*! In' axe murderer.
P.S. And for CIA and FBI members, if your prisoner won't confess, use this $#*! To torture them and they would be guaranteed to talk
I have used ALEKS for a few years and I honestly wouldn't recommend it. The explanations/lessons make absolute zero sense and it will mark you wrong for the most random reasons. I'm sure there are many better online programs such as Khan Academy, but even paper homework would be better. ALEKS leaves grading assignments for crappy A. I. to do, which is very faulty. If you are trying to get online classes, you can rule out ALEKS.
Answer: Because the ALEKS program is literal hell and we people are just showing our hatred for it
Answer: Most likely.
Answer: Yes deal with it
Answer: Because people want to commit suicide in an original way, and ALEKS is the best way.
Answer: I don't think so but believe me a class action suit would be an improvement
Answer: I paid over $150 for this sumbi**h, I expect it to work
Answer: No i do not think the website owner has issued one but I think the feelings for aleks would be "down the toilet"
Answer: I realize this reply is very late but in case for anyone who needs it: -Let's say you're learning how to use long division. They have 3 questions in it. You master the first one, then go on to the next one. You get the second one wrong, guess what? They punish you and take back your first answer so now you have to answer it again. -How fun! And don't forget the useless knowledge checks!
