I've worked for and shopped at Aldi. Its management and treatment of its employees is horrible! The stores are understaffed and overworked but Aldi only cares about profit. Another corporation buying garbage (and I was a purchaser so I speak from experience and truth), having fake concern for its communities and putting profit ahead of all else - environment/the planet, its employees. Aldi applies training and rules to its employees but says otherwise to the profit-paying public. Example: rude customer shops Aldi but then does a tell Aldi on the cashier, saying he was slinging the bought items into the cart too fast and being rude. So that night at closing the unqualified manager chastised the cashier for the complaint and then for still being too slow when checking people out! Long story longer... Aldi employs many unqualified office employees and store managers, treats its store employees like the garbage its selling to customers it couldn't care less about. So please, please #DONT SHOP ALDI anymore. Thank you!
PS: Aldi brings in a physical therapist for OFFICE employees but NOT store employees who do all the lifting. All about those appearances as aldi wants the "white collar" employees voting it best company to work for, while store employees are forever ruining their backs, crushing fingers and bruising their bodies while lifting heavy stuff under time constraints. #DONT SHOP ALDI!
If you want to be lied to, senton wild goose chases and be abused then this is the place to go. Were a good shop, now have gone to the dogs, it's all about them and giving the finger to customers.
Have shopped at Aldi many times and had Aldi delivery of groceries to my door. EXCELLENT products and service. Aldi has been a life saver during this pandemic.
I ordered a compactor plate, with Aldi confirming I would receive it within the 7 days, which was ideal.
However 2 days before I got told there was a slight delay, I would be updated within 24hours. This didn't happen and I chased Aldi up, they chased up the courier but again there was no update, now almost a week over due!
The matter was escalated, they chased up the courier but advised it couldn't be found and acknowledged that I would be offered compensation with service being so poor.
I asked for a refund after having to hire a replacement.
The courier was now trying to find the item. After the weekend, with no notice it was delivered at my home address. The item was not too n a pallet and clearly not looked after, it almost falls out the box it was sent in.
Aldi was unaware of this prior to delivery and offered to provide £50 of Aldi vouchers if I accepted the item, however I asked just for the refund as previously requested.
I now wait for collection prior to gaining the refund, although there is now no mention of any compensation for this poor experience, which after the wasted time, being out of pocket, and wasted time chasing up Aldi, in return I just have had stress and unnecessary wasted time.
I won't be recommending Aldi Friday r offering good customer service at all and will readily share my experience.
Like a month ago I apply for a part time at Aldi supermarket and like a week after I apply I received a email and they said I wasn't fit for the position as cashier I was very disappointed because I was feeling that they discriminated against me because of my age and that because I'm Hispanic
Never buy cheesy bread from aldi it just tastes like dough. 0/10 most bland thing i've ever had. Ruined my pizza night appetizer.
I have been waiting 4 and a half weeks still no cccd ice cream I spend about 600 a week and I guess I have to go to Walmart man I hate that I keep hearing that it's a permanent product Will somebody tell me what is going on I have been to all 3 stores in Ocala FL
I feel as though I am an Indian in a pilgrim world at this point…#killian road Columbia #south carolina
I shop every Sunday at Aldis, sometimes twice a week. It's very busy but they take time to give back a produce if the product is not perfect.
They robbed me! Don't buy their products. I wish I could give them zero. I'll never go back there again
Aldis check out system is horrible! The cashier takes away your shopping cart and gives you someone else's dirty cart.
No help at self checkout
Shopping while white.
Highland Park store.
Continuously ignoring me will not make me go away.
It amazes this ex-customer of Aldi how each and every location ever entered (across a few states) demonstrates the same characteristics. Upon walking in, it instantly becomes apparent that every employee is overworked. One cashier only AT ALL TIMES until the customers are lined up all the way back to the produce aisle. So, if you have one or two items to checkout, more often than not you'll catch yourself having to wait for any number of full carriages ahead of you to checkout first, as there is no mercy in the form of an express aisle.
Once you finally get to the cashier, you are faced with a "service-oriented" individual who cannot wait to get you out of the store. Your receipt is thrown at you while the customer behind you is already being "serviced." Cashiers at each and every location are trained to work fast enough to compensate for the company's lack of initiative to hire a fair amount of help.
The results often include a receipt consisting of overcharges, topped off with your being on your own for bags, as the company is too cheap to supply them. The appearance of the stores reveals unsanitary conditions and unhappy employees.
Online customer service? If you decide to use it and you are "fortunate" enough to get a response, you are instructed to return to the store to resolve the matter, including those overcharges. Those replies, by the way, are sent from a "no-reply" email address, confirming that this company has no genuine interest in hearing from you. So, essentially, you are rushed through the checkout process and encouraged to get out of the way.
This customer's most recent experience involved discovering the overcharge upon arriving at home, several miles from the store. Upon contacting the online Aldi "customer service" department, the Aldi response revealed that they were not interested in a resolution.
Repeated visits to a number of Aldi locations clearly reveals that this supermarket chain is run by a corporate group of individuals who lack any brand of integrity.
Sent the following to Aldi customer services, to which, unsurprisnly, there's been no response:
"I have just been my local Aldi in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, and whilst looking at products, was approached by a member of your staff who said "Sir, can you refrain from opening the products" to which I responded "That they'd already been opened" to which I got a smug sarcastic look
To make matters worse, this employee then served me on a checkout and didn't say a single word to me but was fine with the person before me and after me
To say that I'm extremly annoyed is a major understatement I bring this to your attention as this level of 'customer service' is simply not acceptable and I'm sure that it falls short of the standards that you expect from your employees. I can provide more details on the particular employee if requied"
Budget shop, and some, budget staff... the majority are brilliant, but these attitudes will only lose business, business that keeps these surly employees employed."
I have been going to Aldi for years, they don't care that rotting food is left on shelf, I think they are taking there customers for granted
I shop at multiple Aldi and always been happy with their customer Service and pricing. Would like to recognize Nick and Team at the Forest Lane, Dallas Store for their exceptional customer service.
I am an on line shopper,Aldi and Publix primarily usually 6 orders a month. I love to cook, try new recipes. Anything Fremont not wild caught is not good. Farm raised fish in a tank tend to have a whole different not pleasant flavor. I just finished putting together my Shrimp and Grits Charleston style. I am using Fremonts Medium Wild Caught Raw Peeled & Deveined Shrimp. After defrosting for the lemon pepper marinade I noticed the shrimp smelly as well as slightly mushy. SKU July 26 2025 LOT ******* LA120 Not really expecting as product is soaked in a preservative.I had a farm raised package last week
I had to toss after taste testing for a scampi. My new purchases are wild caught flounder and these shrimp. Flounder looks good-I would not buy the shrimp again farm or wild caught. I have experienced the same rule with other brands -Grotons,Seabest farm raised NEVER if you have good palate. I don't like cooking a product that has a dirt after taste.I am an instacart member who does 85% of my food shopping online my purchases can be verified.Daytona Beach Aldi Daytona Shores Publix.
