I did all my bookings through Agoda.com for our trip to Japan and Singapore, their site is so easy to use, user friendly, price of the hotel reasonable and location is in the heart of all the action. Agoda is an easy way to book a hotel. I like everything about Agoda... it is very convenience to look... Last year I have booked the hotel in Thailand and I have changed the date to check in. I leave a message on the Agoda site. I was very surprised that the staff called from Hong Kong ( the saw the number) and talked to me about my requested... Thank you...
The booking process is user friendly and there aremany hotel to choose from. The prices are also pretty attractive.
I had no problems with this Apartment ( Proximity Apartments) it was close to everything night clubs shopping centre buses rainbows end the veiw from my room ( 15th Floor) was fantastic you could see everything the only problem I had was getting my fat arse back to the apartment room after a big feed of steak eggs and seafood in the shopping centre. There's not more to add but to enjoy. I found the staff ( Her name was Jayne) very helpful and the price's very reasonable for the amount of days that I stayed there ( 14 Days)
I have always loved agoda for the points rewards they give. Also for the good hotels they recommend.
Great pictures of many different types of accommodation. The option to choose room types and board basis within each property to suit my party size and requirements was very useful. The filters helped narrow down my requirements. The only thing that I disliked was the annoyance of the original price increasing by 10% during the booking, Whilst I appreciate certain taxes and fees have to be added, I would prefer to see an all inclusive price at the beginning.
User friendly, detailed, good value web site for finding hotels
It was nice and easy to use. I liked the fact that I could book and only pay when I check in at the hotel. I knew which hotel I wanted to book and Agoda gave the best rates!

I used booking hotels and resorts around the world via Agoda. For the time being, my experience was always positive. In one occasion, they helped me to correct a mistake I made, with no consequences for me. Prices? Normally lower than the competitors. But a check it; s always reccommended.
This is the second time I book to stay at this hotel. It is so close to BST, about 5 - 7 minutes by walking. The room is so clean and the staff's attitude here is good as well. The breakfast is nice as its rate. Love to stay here again.
So often online bookings sites are a bind to navigate and also, there's normally some kind of problem between booking and confirmation. However, this process was seamless and makes for a good start for a stay!

I booked this "resort" called..."MY AN ONSEN SPA AND RESORT" in Hue, Vietnam through Agoda Website.
It looked very nice "in the pictures" and sounded very nice and tranquil.
BUT... upon our arrival, which was 45 minutes from Hue Airport, we were shown our bungalow suite and realized we would be sharing he bungalow with very LARGE spiders and other insects.
The building literally had spiders in the tubs, floor, walls, bed, and coming out of the drains.
Water bugs, centipedes and millipedes were also running for cover when the lights went on.
The room reeked of rot, mold and mildew. The floors were wet apparently from the humidity (?)
The bed was sunken down in the middle as if a boulder were placed in the center of the bed.
We fled the room in horror!
Staff were not understanding but did offer us a small room for the night. Unfortunately that room was filth and the sheets had blood on them. They cleaned up the room and gave us a can of BUG SPRAY (no joke).
We were going to eat at the restaurant but was told by a staff member that I would probably get sick as I was a westerner and my immune system could not take the garbage they were serving.
We had to drive back to Hue just to eat.
Next day we checked out. No apology, just told we would have to go to Agoda for a refund.
Agoda did finally give us a refund and $50.00 for taxis, however the resort told Agoda that they would not give Agoda a refund.
Agoda is not the only travel site that features My An Onsen Spa Resort, and while I do not directly hold Agoda responsible for the condition of this "Resort from Hell", I find it amazing that they continue to list this place on their website.
Be warned, the My An Onsen Spa Resort in Hue, Vietnam is beyond a doubt the most heinous place I have ever visited.
We were lucky enough to get our money back, but others may not be so lucky, so book at your own peril.

Answer: For me as well very bad experience with this site. The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
