Abba Patio

Without a doubt this company has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. After purchasing a patio umbrella in August 2020 I was initially pleased with my purchase but after opening up the unmbrella for the first time this spring I noticed there was a screw and leather washer missing on one of the arms. You would think this would be an easy fix. I called customer service to explain the situation. I was asked to provide photos of the damaged part. This was on 5/26/21. As of today (6/24/21) I have not received the part. After again calling customer service I was told I would receive an email within 24-48 hours concerning my problem. The representative then tried to blame FedEx and UPS for the delay. I'm sure there are companies manufacturing umbrellas that are willing to take care of their customers in a timely manner but this is not one of them.

I bought a canopy in January through Amazon. By October it had split, exposing my boat underneath. When I contacted them they wouldn't warrant their product. They directed me to Amazon. Amazon warrants a sale for a month, and only if you can send it back as it was packaged. So, I'm out over $400 for this canopy. I would not recommend Abba for anything.

I have been trying to return a chaise lounge that was purchased as a gift for over a week now.
I get emails in the middle of the night and sometimes I know that the writer is not from the United States as they make no sense. I have tried to call numerous times and wait for over 35 minutes and then my call is disconnected as they say they are having technical difficulties. I hope my post will stop someone from having this terrible experience.

We recently received our Abbapatio umbrella and are very impressed with the quality and the ease of putting together. The color is beautiful, it covers a large area, and is easy to move around if necessary! Amazing value at a great price!

If your item is out of warranty, you can not buy parts from this company. I purchased the 11 ft Offset Cantilever Umbrella from an auction site - it was an Amazon return. I sent an email to the company (per the instructions in the manual) asking about buying the missing parts. I got an email back saying I had the wrong company even though the email address I used and the one used in responding to me was the one listed in the manual. I went to the company website and filled out the "Contact US" form. No response for 3 weeks. I called the company and was told they do not sell parts. They only ship parts during a products warranty. I specifically asked about getting a part if the product was out of warranty and was told they would not sell any parts.

I bought a patio umbrella that stopped working and contacted the company. They said they would replace it and that I would have to pay shipping which I agreed to pay. After several emails, they said they would send me a link to order the replacement as it was still under warranty but they never sent the link and never replied to my emails or calls. So I still have a non-functional umbrella. Also they NEVER answer their customer service line. You have to hold on for quite a while and then the recording say. "we are having technical difficulties" and you are disconnected. I would never buy a product from them again and would never recommend them.

We love our 11 foor market umbrella. Just gorgeous and so well made. Opens and closes easily! Nice thick fabric that casts a great shade. We love the quality so much we bought another for another area. Highly recommend.

Beautiful 11ft Market Umbrella and Stand! We love the aqua blue color and it's the perfect width to hang out in our rocking beach seat. We love to hang out under our palm trees in our back years under the market umbrella rain or shine. It Garda us perfectly against the Florida sun in the hot summer time.

The tilt mechanism broke within two months. Other purchasers have noted the same thing. Customer service is non-existent. I would not buy this product again.

We have one of Abba Umbrella expensive large Degree Rotation Offset Cantilever Umbrella (Weights Included) when a wind broke a top piece and ripped the top small vent canopy. We get an email from this company from SANDY that they dont stock parts for customers for customers to repair them.

I received a 9 foot patio umbrella in beige, along with an umbrella base. Both are perfect for a patio area or outdoor dining space, plus they can easily be moved for easy entertaining and provide a ton of shade from the hot GA sun. It has a nice easy closure crank and ties to secure when not in use, and both pieces are very well made. I highly recommend this set.

Purchased a 12 X20 portable garage. Attachments for the end walls torn off within 1 week of setting it up. Then entire structure flipped despite appropriate anchoring as provided in the package. Four of the 8 side legs broken in half. Contacted Abba service and requested refund for inferior product. They said they do not have replacement parts and told me to follow up with Amazon as I purchased their product through that site. I really expected the company to stand behind their product and resolve the situation. Amazon to the rescue I guess.

This is my second 9' ‘market umbrella from Abba Patio and I love that it tilts and has great quality with the crank! I still have my first one from more thank 18 mos ago and it's holding up through all the seasons! I love their umbrellas!

Would buy it again! We've used it for about a month now. This umbrella is very easy to put together and use. I love the tilting as it provides different levels and angles of shade. It looks nice!

This umbrella is beautiful, it covers a lot of space and provides tons of shade, I love that it tilts - and all you have to do is push a button to perform this task, and it took me seconds to put it together. Highly suggest getting a base for it as well. We didn't and I think we will definitely go ahead and purchase one. Our tables are meant to hold umbrellas in them, but I want this one to sit on its own. Such a great product.

We love our new patio umbrella! It provides plenty of shade for our patio. It's easy to crank open and also has a tilt option, which I love too. Amazing quality, I highly recommend Abba Patio!

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We purchased an outdoor chaise lounge with canopy last year. Unfortunately, a wind storm broke the canopy. We contacted abba patio customer service and offered to purchase a canopy. No problem, we were covered by warranty. Great. We sent the many items invoice, photos, parts numbers etc. We were then told we were out of warranty for 24 hours! There was absolutely nothing they could do. We could purchase a new one with a not substantial discount.

The more we looked at the useless chaise the more upset we became. We attempted x many times to call only to be on hold for 40 minute intervals, disconnected, we would call back with the same results. When we finally got through, after days of attempts, to customer service this was not the correct department. We need to speak to service. Service requested the same invoices, photo parts number as they did not have any record of the previous conversations and rejections.

They could not send a canopy nor would they send one from the a complete lounge, this would render the chaise useless. No kidding. We have not heard from abba patio since.
