AAKA Support has been extremely helpful in taking care of a problem with our Printer. I couldn't be happier with the service I received in addition to their follow-up with me. Highly recommend

“I want my $275.00”

I have been trying to get this refund for 1.5 yrs to no avail. Latest conversation with Austin this morning. Told to callback in 45 min. To speak to Mac. I think Austin has even blocked my calls. I have always been polite, and realize with Covid, things are slower, but this is ridiculous. What to I have to do to get my refund? Perhaps this note will help.

I searched for the Google Chrome support phone and called and apparently got this group of Indian hackers instead. This Indian guy named Austin remotted into my system but he seemed clueless about my problem, I should have been smart and shutdown, I think they came back later and used the same remote connection to go back into my computer. I had to change all my passwords after that episode.

Please do not use this company they are a bunch of liars and thieves. They blocked my phone number when I persistently called to find where my refund they had promised never arrived.

I was given their number from Yahoo as I was getting problems from PayPal regarding notifications... Aaka told me I wasn't getting notifications because of multiple infections on my computer... To permanently fix it they needed $500 and it would be fixed for at least 3 years... Not only did it not fix the problem but they called 3 weeks later saying I now had different software problems requiring another $200 to fix, after they said the initial $500 would be all I need for everything... I didn't pay the other $200 and the tech went crazy to try to get me to spend more money... Obviously a money driven scam! Also the computer viruses they show that you have,, are probably put there by them to make it look legit... Scam scam scam... Shame on me for being so stupid! Lesson learned... Use regular virus protectors or call Microsoft or Apple themselves for tech help!

AAKA took $500 and now they want more. They keep calling. Absolutely said my computer would crash if I did not cough up $300 more. Stay away from them.

After 5 hours on the phone, nothing was done. I had someone from my internet company talk to me for 5 MINUTES and the problem was solved.

Then they kept calling me for days asking me to sign a document with my credit card number on it and requesting payment, after I had already done so on that initial call.

Apparently others had positive experiences, but frankly, I have no idea what they did to my computer, they didn't solve ANY problems, and were completely annoying to deal with. A waste of almost $300 and a whole lot of time. Furious.

My experience, last summer, was similar to others posted on this site. SID Techno Solutions dba AAKA Support preys on consumer fear and convinces a person to let them remotely access your computer to supposedly diagnose the problem. They then display fake information on the computer's screen to scam you into thinking that there is a legitimate problem, when in fact, they themselves have created the supposed problem. They then want hundreds of dollars to fix the problem they created.

Now, they are calling me to inform me of a virus they have detected in my computer. Which, of course, is complete BS. Their call back number is *******611, or *******937, out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This is just one of several centers that they conduct their scam from. Needless to say, these calls will not be returned. They need to be shut down. Best advice, STAY AWAY!

DO NOT fall for this "Tech support." It is a complete ruse!" I was almost convinced that I had to buy some ALLEGED subscription, for. Anti-virus software... I was shown "alleged" malware infections, 27 to be exact, on my pc. The agent. Told me that unless I buy this software these infections would keep on coming back. It all started when I searched for Microsoft support, for my outlook e-mail account. Sure enough, the site looked legit, It said Microsoft... Soon I will try to get a creen shot of this site, or at least post it's phone number.

The main reason I am writing this review is because I got this company by calling the legitimate HP customer service number! I called about an issue with my printer and got "Jack". He said he had to check my computer to see if that was the source of the problem. The outcome was him showing me "problems" where my computer had been attacked from foreign hackers. I almost lost money but realized, at the end of the conversation, it was a scam and I cancelled my card. I contacted HP about the matter. They contacted me and thanked me for reporting the issue. I am not unique. HP said these scammers are getting into their system and contacting people under the pretense of being HP. By all means, stay away from this company! I was lucky I did not lose any money like others who got scammed as well.

When will my $600 be refunded? I've waited over 1 1/2 months. ENOUGH. Refund demand is effective right now. I have been in touch with you since September, 2016 and in November the refund was promised. Nothing yet. What's going on?

This company told my elderly mother in order to clear her account and fix her computer she had to purchase iTunes cards $3200 worth. She DID... UGH. This company had her scratch off number code and give to them. They called her 17 times in one day. They had her so confused they were able to talk her into this terrible scam. BEWARE.

My opinion is AAKA is a blatant FRAUD!

I have a very good support for my Gateway computer. I was trying to reach them and AAKA Support answered and said my support that I was using was a fraud and provided information showing my support was a fraud.
I assume AAKA created what they showed me. AAKA or the related company, It appears AAKA hacked my computer and was waiting for me to come on line. They offered ti fix everything for what I think was $499.00.

I was very happy with my previous company and suspected this was a fraud; so went to my original company, Sure enough AAKA or their sub was a fraud and my original support company fixed the problem.

I've been unable to access an old Gmail account and decided that instead of waiting the 3-5 business days for them to get back to me, I would call and get the matter sorted out.
The phone number for aaka was listed as Gmail support, so I called. The nonchalant manner of the "tech" who I'm guessing is from India caught my attention and should have set me off, but it seemed minor enough so I decided to proceed. I allowed him access to my computer and he walked me through the same steps that I had already taken, which got me nowhere, and then he had me open up my Facebook account while he opened up a window that was apparently scanning my computer to find the issue with the email address. It was a basic text window with numbers flowing down,

I figured maybe there was some way to use my Facebook account for verification, but instead he just started looking at my photos and asking personal questions and telling me I'm pretty.
I was starting to get real suspicious when the top of the text window stated that my email and ip address had been hacked. He then told me that I had to pay $100 to fix the issue so that my email could be recovered. I detected BS and hung up on the guy.

I looked away from my computer for a moment, which still had the remote controlling app installed. My picture folder was open and HE WAS GOING THROUGH MY PHOTOS. I abruptly turned my computer off, and now think I'm going to need to have someone clean it for me.

I don't know if this "technician" now has access to my information, or what, but I'm spooked to say the least.
