We had heard great things about 2Checkout, but when we tried to sign up, we found nothing but issues.
The biggest issues were the fact that your support departments are slow to respond and uncooperative.
In the end, we were told by 2Checkout that they would not be willing to offer services to a company like ours, since our services were research, podcasts and videocasting.
We'll never consider 2Checkout again and are making sure to tell everyone that we know to avoid your service because after wasting 3 weeks of our time, we were denied an account.

I have bought certain items. The sites I bought from are using 2CheckOut (Verifone). As I needed to change my email address I tried that.
On the site there is no possibility to do this. So I clicked "2CO myAccount & Subscription Management" and as there was no solution for my query I clicked "Contact us". Only to come into a loop where there was nothing to help me with.
I don't understand why companies, and not the smallest, use a company where you come into a loop after asking questions.

I have just successfully come out the other side of battle with Avangate, having had to opt for litigation through PayPal to obtain full refund for software that didn't work. If it smells like scam... avoid.
Just today I was charged 49.95 to my card whilst playing a the new Legend of Zelda Game. I've never order any thing from them and did not know they even existed until after I quit playing and checked my phone alerts. Be warned, avangate may be accessing you bank card or account information using hackers.

More than two month later I still don't have it delivered.

Update, in a pretty prompt response to this review, they apologized and offered a refund. Based on that customer service and the quality of the product I purchased I've updated from 1 star to 3. If the refund process and cancelling auto renewal was more clear and easy, an even better rating would be given.
I bought a product through them from Easus. They subscribed me to a monthly subscription and only provided pretty complex instructions on how to cancel after they charged me a renewal. I would avoid this company at all costs. I immediately sent a refund request and it was denied.

This is the worst company I have dealt with online. They destroyed our business by closing our account - we lost our subscribers. I actually ended up going through health trauma because of their arrogant action. They never gave reason for closure except for 'non compliant' This is after YEARS of using them... scumbags

Their risk team will put your account on restricted mode on Estimated pay day and your hard earned money will be under 2Checkout's -> Avangate's -> Verifone's possession for weeks if not months. Stay away from them. You might not realize how tricky their business policy is while doing payment processing with them for smaller transactions. But when it will be a substantial amount, you will see their real face. Recommendation: Stay ******* miles away from them.

After two years they suddenly closed our account without notice on the basis they do not like the images of our product!
We have no access to our account or funds. They have kept the money and do not reply anymore to emails. This is theft.

2 checkout is one of the biggest credit card processor scams out there.
They will continually violate VISA and Master card charge back rules and screw you over without a thought. They do NOT review charge backs for fraud and other bogus credit card activities. So, if there is fraud by a a purchaser, you will be left holding the bag.
They are NOT on your side for charge backs so don't be fooled.
Incompetent short sighted. You will rue the day you signed up with them. Several class action suits are being reviewed for filing at this time.

Dealing with them is a nightmare, trust me when I say this, "Choose any provider but 2Checkout".
Let me start by saying that I reside in India and submitted all the documents they asked in the merchant panel.
Firstly, it took them ages to send me a reply that I need to submit an additional document.
What really pisses me off is that they want me to submit a proof of the last 6 months transaction of my site. How can someone possibly give this proof when they have just published their site?
Still, I tried explaining it to them that I have a brand new site and it might not apply to me. I once again waited for a few more days and got this response,
"Your submission for a 2Checkout Account has been declined" That's it. No explaining, no reasons just like that. They wasted my 15 days on this.
Save yourself some trouble and stay away from them.
