Before placing my order for 33 lights, I ordered one to be sure I liked it. I was quoted a price at the time I placed the first order and was told that price would be good for 30 days. I called back today to place the order, a week later, and the sales person I spoke with was great. He looked up my old order, verified the price, got an authorization to honor the price, and I placed my order. So far, very very good.

Put light fixture in cart. Even though I'd ordered before, a 25% discount popped up. Said first time purchaser on the coupon. Thought that was odd since I've placed an order before, but I wan't upset about getting the discount. AFTER placing order, site said coupon was not valid and to call for assistance, HOWEVER they changed price to reflect 5% off...AFTER order placed. Email confirmation received states 5% coupon. WHY did this transaction even go through?!

Never received information on shipping of my order despite checking back for several days on the website where customer supposedly can track their order. It gave me a message saying check back in 24 hours repeatedly for 4 days.
Called customer service, gave my order #, was transferred to an "expert" after 30 minutes ON HOLD.
She could not tell me if the item had been shipped. At this point, I had no confidence my order would arrive. I cancelled the order and am waiting to see if the charge is removed from credit card. Would not advise doing business with this place based on my experience with their poor customer service.

We ordered a light fixture on December 2 from 1stoplighting.com. I asked when I ordered it if it was in stock and was told yes, delivery in 3 days guaranteed! The third day came and went, and I called and was told it would be delivered by the end of week, and we are crediting you $25 since it did not arrive in the guaranteed time. It is now January 5, and no light has been delivered. I have contacted customer service repeatedly, given a bogus tracking number, and then today was treated extremely rudely by a woman who spoke over me, would not let me get my words out, then when I finally did there was silence on the line. I asked if she was still there, and she muttered, "Yes, I'm listening." And I said, "You have no response?" She curtly responded "no." She told me I had not waited the 48 hours it takes for them to respond to my inquiry of where my light fixture is. What a joke! This light was over $1,000 and no one can tell me where it is? Oh, and I can't cancel the order and order from a reputable company because they have no idea where it is. To say I'm disgusted with this company is a huge understatement.

Never received my order. Their automated systed said they couldn't locate my order. Called with the order # and was on hold indefinitely. Hung up after 30 minutes. Still have no idea what the status is of my order 4 days later.

I purchased two ceiling lights on the site, because they showed as in stock, and we needed them quickly.

After placing the order, the message read "you will be notified within 24 hours of shipping" or something to that effect. So I assumed all was well.

A few days later, I realized I had never gotten a shipping confirmation, so I logged in to check tracking, and discovered it now read "will ship in approximately 72 days".

I had never gotten any email notification that the item was not in stock / on backorder.

That put our project behind schedule, because we had to order the fixtures from another site that is more reliable.

Very disappointing, and I would not order from 1StopLighting again based on this experience.

And yes, I did check my spam folder, and there were no notifications there, either.

They had a very good discount for first-time customers though, had I actually received the lights from them. That's why I gave two stars instead of one. I guess it was too good to be true.

Tip for consumers:
They apparently do not know if their lights are really in stock or not, and you are not prevented from ordering out of stock lights.

Be careful when ordering an "accessory" from 1Stop
The tech rep for Minka provided us with the incorrect part number to repair our ceiling fan. 1Stop fulfilled our online order based on the incorrect part number. Upon receipt we dismantled the fan and determined the part was not correct. (Not 1Stop's fault) After consulting with Minka we were given the correct part number and contacted 1Stop to return/exchange for the correct part.
NO GO - why you ask? 1Stop classified this part as an "accessory" and therefor not returnable. In reality without this electronic Motor Receiver the fan cannot function. I'd hardly call that an "accessory".
'Simply a lousy way to do business.

So apparently this is the only means by which a person can get a response from the customer service department at 1StopLighting, so here I go singing the same song as the other DISSATISFIED and IGNORED customers. I ordered a 60" downrod (order# *******). On 6/26/20 I received the wrong downrod. I ordered polished chrome, they sent me bronze. Easy fix right? Just call customer service and ask them to exchange it for the correct item... That would make sense if you're dealing with a professionally functioning business that actually cares about their reputation and their customers. 1STOPLIGHTING is no such company! I have pursued every means instructed by their website and customer service call line to simply get a return authorization code so I can return the item... I would not dare try to reorder from them. But I can not get ANY RESPONSE. When I call ( and like the other reviewers I've spent HOURS UPON HOURS on hold), I enter any number that I think someone would answer. On two separate occasions, both of the employees that answered could care less about helping me get any resolution, no matter how desperate I expressed that I am to get help. They just placed me back on hold to wait for hours longer. I am not the type to speak disparagingly about a company, but I feel the need to warn potential customers that if they consider purchasing any items online from 1STOPLIGHTING, you should prepare yourself for absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE response or assistance. Perhaps now someone will contact me? Just listen to the several messages & emails sent to you from the customer with this order number above.

Stay away!
This is really a garbage company, poor customer service, poor communication, delivered my item in a damaged box and it's already scratched. They don't want even to help in taking care of this issue, the call agent is so rude and disrespectful. Please stay away from this website. I will never buy from it again in my life period

This is a brokerage website, they don't have a warehouse of stock, they only order and ship for you through the manufacture. Very unreliable website, stay away and use big companies like Amazon, Home Depot, Overstock way more better service and experience

! WARNING! If u are considering doing business with this company do yourself a favor and place your device on the table and step slowly away. U are about to enter into a business transaction that is going to end with hours of time wasted that u will never get back. Their policies are designed to deceive their customers. This company will Guarantee you next day shipping And then they will promise you if you don't have it next day they will give you $25 credit then you wait a couple months to receive your product but you never will. Ordered four lamps a month ago. Just one delivered so far in a badly damaged carton with contents smashed. Completely impossible to make contact with customer service by any means. If you stay on the customer service line long enough (a long time!) you get invited to receive a call back later: this appears always to arrive in the small hours, and the consequent automated voicemail just invites you to call them back via customer service, A neat loop! No response to Emails. Delivery status updates promised on website are non-existent. Who knows about this outfit? Are they still in business? Bankrupt? Or just incompetent?
