Late to my mom's funeral
October 22, 2019

I ordered a 180 dollar arrangement 4 days before my mom's funeral. It wasn't there when I arrived for the service. I watched it get delivered to the church foyer while I was giving the eulogy. Not many deaths are easy and funerals are rarely enjoyable. But my mom was only 61, and I just had her second grandchild 2 months ago. It's a really hard time, and 1800 Flowers made it harder.

Never deliver on time.

Horrible, horrible company that doesn't even care if it's a funeral and just always say we can give a small refund since they can't ever make it on time. It would be different for a bday, still bad, but to miss a funeral? That's pathetic. DONT USE THIS CROOKED COMPANY!

1 800 FLOWERS IS A JOKE

I used to be a loyal customer of your organization and now I will do everything I can that people see the true company you are now. I placed an order for a sick friend in the hospital i paid the substantially amount of money to have it same day delivered as she was not expected to be here long and I wanted her to have the flowers to bring her some joy and perhaps a smile of comfort. Did your company delivery as the guarantee states? NO! Not at all. A call was placed to multiple patronizing customer service reps, the first rep was in such a rush to get me off the phone, 2nd rep one had the audacity to say "oh well better luck next time". 3rd rep tells me well we will refund your money. See not one of those reps step up to the plate and took ownership of the problem they created. Not one said what can i do to make this right for you? Not one was polite or empathetic that the opportunity. You like to to advertise how you are all about bringing smiles to others and that you are just some customer driven to happiness in flowers and gifts. This is complete false advertisement. The customer service reps refuse to give corporate contact information for Jim Mccann and allow him to hear how terrible the reps are making the company he built in 1976 out to be now. I was told he is just to busy with his traveling and speaking engagements to care about some small & trivial as a customer from South Carolina. WOW! Since I have that phone conversation recorded we will see just how much social media will do with that once I make that go viral.

Not Reliable!

If you want to make sure your wishes to be sent, choose other companies. 1800 is not reliable at all.
I ordered the same day delivery service for my best friend's birthday, paid extra money to have the flowers to be delivered during the 9-12 time period, but the flowers were never there and my friend didn't receive my surprise. They wanted to redelivery on the following Monday, however, the birthday is passed and it is something they could not make up.

Terrible service

I ordered A flower arrangement for a death in the family. I place the order before the deadline for same-day delivery. I waited until the 8 PM delivery deadline. The order was not delivered and I received no notification. When I called, I was told I ordered too late and was given a time later than when I place the order. I requested a supervisor who confirmed that the order was placed on time and that one 800 flowers neglected to contact me. I spoke to a supervisor who said the flowers would be delivered the next morning. This did not happen. I called again and requested a refund. I saw a refund on day 3 then it disappeared. I spoke to a supervisor again and was told they are looking into system glitches. When I looked at the order status, it showed it was delivered which it was not! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM IF YOU NEED FLOWERS DELIVERED FOR A FAMILY LOSS!

I will never use your services again! Still not delivered, they said they tried yesterday and it was "unsuccessful" whatever that means as there were multiple people in the house ALL DAY yesterday. When I called customer service they said my only option was to cancel if I couldn't wait until tomorrow (today) and again it's still not delivered.

I ordered flowers for my 102 year old grand-mother in-law's funeral mass on a Tuesday am, and requested them to be delivered by 11am on Friday. This allowed for 3 full days notice. Received a call 3 days later at 1045am on Friday from one of their customer service rep's informing me that the local florists were at capacity and unable to fill my order. Im certain that they filled other orders in the same area with 3 days or less notice, but for some reason they were not able to complete mine. The church was closing at 12pm on Friday and the funeral mass was at 10am on Saturday. So I told the woman on the phone whose English was very broken which made it very difficult to even understand this disappointing and upsetting news to just cancel my order and refund my $158.43. So I had no notice whatsoever to be able to make other arrangements with 1-800-FLOWERS to accomodate this total lack of service. I still have not received back in my bank account 5 days later, even though they charged my card instantly when making the initial order. The most disappointing and piss poor lack of service I can ever remember experiencing, or maybe I should say not experiencing or not receiving. I had to scramble and find someone local and settle for what they had available.

I ordered same day delivery, they say they attempted delivery but "the business was closed"
Ummm no, the place i ordered the delivery for was a 24 hour hospital which is open 24/7, therefore they lied about the delivery.
I have had to call 3 times this morning, each call lasting 30-60 minutes to see what happened.
They re-ordered same day delivery but when I checked order status it was set to deliver for tomorrow.
So I called back AGAIN to fix this issue, they said they fixed it and we changed to a different set of flowers (mind you, this order was over $150).
I checked the order status later with the order number given to me, NO RECORD found.
Now I am on the phone again to see what the hell is going on, and I've been getting the run around for 30 minutes already.
Will NEVER order from here again! Don't waste your time and money for a company that doesn't give a crap about you. All they will tell you is "I'm so sorry, we will give you a coupon for your next order."
Next representative hung up on me (her name was Aloha) when i asked to be transferred to a supervisor.
On the phone again and they are refusing to transfer me to a supervisor
Biggest waste of time. Never again.

This was my first time ordering from 1800 flowers to send my friend a congrats bouquet for her first week teaching at a school. I never leave reviews but i am baffled with the lack of service or empathy that this company leaves. After 3 days after the expected delivery date, they still have not sent the flowers to the recipient. Mind you, i keep having to follow up with them every day to ensure they are even monitoring my order at this point. The florist i guess that they work with is not answering so all they leave me with is "they aren't answering but don't worry we left them a voicemail," after the 2nd attempt in the same day (3 days after). I don't understand why everyone orders from this company because they didn't even offer and type of refund or hope that this will be guaranteed at least the 3rd day following. Will never order from this company again. Go with someone else who will actually care!

Wasted 200$

Made a purchase of over $200, and I paid for same say. The company made an attempt to deliver at a time when I told them the recipient would not be home. They only attempted once and left a note saying she would have to pick up at a store. I contacted support and was told they were sorry. They also told me they hoped "I would let them deliver smiles again soon".
I felt so helpless that my $200 was being wasted. They told me they were certain the flowers would go out the next day, but they would not tell me a set time. They gave a 12 hour window. So... first it will be a day late. Then it won't be at a set time, and I tell them that I wanted same day because the next day she was leaving town for 24 hours. So the recipient may get her flowers 48 to 72 hours after they were supposed to be in her hand. They will be old because she will not be there to get them fresh. I am sure they do not care to lose my $200 repeat business, but I really do care because that is a lot of money to me. So, I only suggest everyone think about if the money they are spending is ok to disappear with no product or flowers. If you can spare to lose money or have late deliveries then this is the business for you

I used this company for years. But over the last 3 years I have had every order either delivered to the wrong address, the order never completed, the wrong order delivered, and most recently my credit card charged and they never fulfilled the order and never called me or Text me. For 2 days. The order just set in their portal showing on the truck. I finally called them and I was transferred to a person the could only say how sorry they were. They finally reordered the order and it was to be delivered by noon the day following my calling them. It is now 4:30pm and no order. I call them and they say oh we are sorry but that order will not be delivered by 8:00pm. This order was to my daughter who just had my first grandchild. I the child is now 3 days old and she is now longer in the hospital but is home. I look like idiot. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER EVER AGAIN AND I ADVISE YOU DO THE SAME. Just call a local florist in you home town. They will treat you better and I have learned give you better service.

1800 flowers can lick my $#*!!

So I ordered a funeral arrangement for my aunt who passed a couple weeks ago. Ordered a funeral arrangement to be delivered. The funeral was over seas in Japan. No problem... they service the area. I get a phone call friday(our time) Thursday was a Japanese holiday. The funeral was Saturday. They could have told me within the week prior that they couldn't come thru with the arrangement.
So today... Tuesday 4 days after the funeral, they call asking if we still wanted our flowers delivered? WTF is this! I'll never do any kind of business with them again.
Oh they did offer to send the arrangement a week after the funeral for 50% off if I wanted. And send it where you idiots? The funeral has passed.

Thank you 1800 flowers for making a sad situation even sadder!

I placed an order for my daughter-in-law's 50ieth birthday, received an email stating it was successfully processed, also a text telling me I could check on the order status. Flowers were not delivered as promised. Sent an e-mail to the customer service department, no response. Called today and was told they could not find a florist in Victoria, BC. Absolutely ridiculous answer, Victoria is a big city. Very disappointed to say the least.

DONT BUY FROM THEM. JUST BUY LOCAL.

I tried to send an Orchid to my aunt for her 60th Birthday. They charged PayPal over $100.00 for the plant and delivery and then their system didn't process the order correctly and my aunt got a big fat nothing from us for her birthday and now I am waiting for 1800 Flowers to have one of their PayPal Specialists to email me for a refund... PayPal can't even refund the charges because the 1800 Flowers system shows it as pending.

Ordered the deluxe flowers for my aunt 50 birthday. First they got name and adress wrong. Caught them in time. Second when flowers got deliverd they were the wrong ones. Ordered flowers to be sent to daughter in law in a major hospital in a major city, Chicago. Received an email saying delivered. In fact they were not. Followed up and told to choose new site and location as she was being released. Did do and hot told the date didn't work for them, picked a date that they believed by eycould do. Ultimately flowers arrived It only took 5 days. A few days li after she ordered flowers we rd for us, we were celebrating our 50th at a B and B in a major city with a number of family members. She received a mb email saying that they were delivered. The floeers never showed. A new date was picked, along with a new location mb our home. Delivery was not made again. Aside it stands we might or might get something around the middle of my next week. Evidently what they do is wait for an order, bill it, announce delivery and then go look for a florist op

I made a delivery order on June 28 2019 for a surprise delivery for my husband as it was his birthday. After placing the order online, I received a phone call from them 3 hours later telling me that the delivery could not be done to the area I had requested, really? Why don't you figure this out once the address of the recipient has been inputted? Then they tell me that they are going to call the recipient being my Husband to tell him that the delivery cannot be done... WTH are you going to call the recipient if the delivery was supposed to be a SURPRISE! Bunch of idiots working there at 1800FLOWERS. Sounds like their call center is in India because all the people I have spoken to during this ordeal have been Indian people with heavy accents to where I could not understand them or they me. They are very unprofessional. So now they are making my refund very difficult, almost refuse to refund my money. Good thing I used PayPal and now have an open case dispute with this ratchet company. I will NEVER EVER use this company nor would I recommend it to ANYONE! I will buy what I need and do the delivery myself from now on. Sometimes we have to learn the hard way! I left a very negative survey they sent me to my email and now they are calling me and leaving voicemails saying they want to talk to me about the survey I did... don't waste your time contacting me as I have nothing else to say to you. PayPal will be contacting you and make you give me my full refund to my account. The nerve! Don't ever use 1800Flowers big disappointment. Read all the negative reviews first, there are hundreds.
