I purchased a bouquet of flowers to be a surprise for my mother for Christmas I did it over the weekend picking Monday, December 23 as delivery day I received an email stating that the flowers have been delivered I called my mom to verify that and there was no delivery. There goes her surprise. I called the one 800 flowers to inquire on that and they cannot really give me a response other then we will try our best to get it delivered by tomorrow which would be December 24. I called this false advertising. Very disappointing.

Ordered flowers 1:33pm 12/17.100.00 xmas tree order went through. Get a voice mail 11:05 pm couldn't understand a word of it. Called back the # and they said they couldn't send the item I ordered but would send something similar. I told them no and they should cancel the order and I would place a new order. I made a new order and same thing 8 hrs later they emailed saying they couldn't fulfill the order. I called corporate because now I had 3 charges on my credit card. Corporate apologized and said they would take care of the charges and make sure everything was cancelled. Ok I now call a local florist at the destination where I wanted the flowers delivered. An hour later my sister calls and says thanks for flowers?!-800 flowers had some random arrangement sent. OMG these people are completely clueless which includes corporate this is not rocket science. I will never use this service again. They took my money at lightning speed and their smile guarantee is worthless. Also I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with these incompetent people.

For two weeks 1-800 flowers lied about delivering flowers which were never delivered.
They doubled the charged yet told me they were reducing the cost by me using the coupon
Of $20 off... again and again they were great at doubling the Visa charge when no flowers
Had been delivered. It seems that this is STANDARD PRACTICE for1-800 Flowers. Charge
The customer for non delivered flowers, LIE, LIE LIE. WHATS WRONG WITH THEM.?
Order#******* after three weeks waiting.

Ordered flowers on Wed, 13Nov, through their executive program to have a monthly delivery to our office. First delivery was to be made on Tue, 19Nov. Not so crazy about having to wait that long for shipping but ok. Flowers never arrived despite seeing we were billed. Tracked flowers on their site which showed they still never shipped.

Called in, worked my way through a mess of a phone tree because this is their "executive" program. Finally spoke to a rep who confirmed they were never sent out, he said he can get them mailed out to me and we would have them by Thu, 28Nov. I said, "No, thats ridiculous, (1) to have to wait that long just to get flowers and (2) these are for our office and that we would be on holiday recess at that time. I asked if he can rush deliver. He said no. I asked to cancel the order all together and he said he would need to speak with a manager and said he would call me back. Never received a call back that day, but manager did call me the following day and left a voicemail that he cancelled the first order, I wouldn't get flowers until December 3rd, I also wouldn't be billed for December since the mess up and that I would get flowers in January, etc.

I called back the following day and asked everything to be cancelled, all orders (past/present) and refund anything that was made. Luckily they did comply, but what a nightmare. I will never use them again for business or personal.

Complete failure
December 2, 2019

I am completely sickened by what was delivered to my dying Aunt that will most likely be her last Birthday. Not only was the flower arrangement not anything like I ordered they didn't deliver the gourmet chocolates that I ordered. This is completely heartbreaking, I will never use this service again unless they make it right by 100% upgrade. Unfortunately it will not allow me to show what I ordered vs. what was delivered.

I've used both this and teleflora. Here's the thing - in both cases, florists get a shakedown to have to conform to the huge cut that 1800FLowers or Teleflora levies, for the 'privilege' of dealing online. As a result, and understandably, Florists are NOT going to used their best and freshest flowers to fulfill an order that they're only getting a really small cut of the overall order. Also with 1800Flowers, we have absolutely NO CLUE whether the flowers made it on the delivery truck by looking at the website. My order for delivery today (only 5 min left in their promised window of delivery by 8 pm) was place 5 DAYS AGO so there's no excuse for it not being delivered today. The reviewer who complained about the difficult to understand offshore CSR is true - I'm Asian, and even I had a heck of a time trying to understand the Filipino lady - I had to stop her and ask her to speak slowly numerous times. In my past orders thru these guys, the bouquets are NOT fresh, and do not reflect in any way the bouquet photo posted online. So there's a disclaimer that the photo may not reflect what the recipient really gets, but to this extent, why don't they just get a kid to draw a flower with crayon and put it up? It's pretty close.

My advice - don't use 1800Flowers or Teleflora - instead do a google search for a florist in the recipient's area with good ratings and simply call them directly. I discovered that the Service Fee is in fact lower when you call a florist directly, and since they don't have to hand over a huge cut of their money to these clowns. They'll give you your accurate bouquet and on time.

I would never deal with this company again even if they were the only company that i could use to send flowers. Ive been trying to get a refund since october and my order wasn't set to go out until this past Wednesday. I looked at my order online a few minutes ago and the order was suppose to be delivered two days ago and still hasn't gone out everybody who works there will give you the run around because they dont want to issue you a refund... Save yourself the hassle by not doing business with them it will bw in your best interest!

NEVER USE 1800FLOWERS

Horrible service. Ordered the night before and was guaranteed by 8pm the next day. Nothing of course came. Then trying to understand someone from out of the USA is a complete nightmare. RUN DONT WALK FROM 1800FLOWERS. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Flowers delivered wilted

I ordered flowers for a great friend... the arrangement looked nothing like the picture... it was mostly green and of the few flowers(roses) one was wilted and brown I paid extra to have more flowers... that didn't happen. I wish I would have read reviews if you look to the far right you can see the wilted flower I will never use this company again!

Please do not order from this place! My fiance ordered me flowers just because. They were not at all what was ordered. Ok- accidents happen. Well they said to him that they would allow me to keep the ones I already had and start a new order from a different place and ensure it was corrected. It was not- so I messaged them. Asked for a refund because it came from the same place. They the customer service agent stated "I am really sorry for the misunderstanding, Laura. I can assure you that the florist was changed on the order that was sent to you today. However, when there is an issue with the quality of the arrangement sent, the florist usually takes back the old arrangement and replaces it with the new arrangement, so that you can enjoy a fresh arrangement. - Johanna"
SAME PLACE- So I sent her the evidence and she still lied to me. The place was not changed the place did a horrible job and brought me a smaller one to replace the other one. I am so let down and disgusted with their lies! STAY AWAY FROM THEM! If I could do 0 stars I would!

I have given my wife a dozen roses for her birthday for the last 35 years. Since we were traveling, I wasn't able to use my local florist to send flowers this time. I called 1800Flowers and they took my credit card and I gave them specific instructions and contact info and address to deliver roses to our resort we were staying at. No roses by 7pm long after we checked in. I called 800Flowers and they said "sorry, we'll deliver them tomorrow." Our tradition broken, I spent the rest of the evening consoling my wife on her birthday. Thank you 1800Flowers for making my wife cry on her birthday.

Delivery debacle!
November 15, 2019

I ordered 24 roses to be sent to my best friend on her Birthday. It never arrived.
I followed up with customer service and they sent a "replacement" order that was delivered to the wrong address. It turned out that they did not include the apartment number even though they had that information.
Further the "replacement" was a cheesier bouquet not at all like the original order!
I am very upset with their customer service and delivery system.

Flowers delivered not as advertised.
Billing was duplicated.
Special promotion not honored.
Many promises to receive corrected email confirmations which have not arrived.
I made a second order for the funeral of my Uncle who is a two-war veteran. I hope to god they get this right or I will file a complaint with my cc company and the Better Business Bureau. Wish I had seen the many negative reviews first.

By far the worst service humanly possible by a company
They will take your money and then negotiate when they can finally deliver your product. Even if its 3 days AFTER delivery date that was originally paid for
Then they will tell you they will issue a credit which will take 5-8 business days - so you basically pay for placing an order but never receive merchandise!

Ordered flowers for funeral services the day before to be delivered the next day by 3 PM since service was 4 PM Made numerous phone calls to customer service (what a joke that is) No flowers. They offered to deliver them to the family. Well it was for a funeral service. I have read other review that say it is very difficult to get the credit so I am charging it back with American Express. I will tell everyone to stick with the small local florist This has been a very embarrassing situation for us.

I wish I had never ordered from them. They charged my card three separate times for different amounts, and I only ordered one bouquet! Apparently, since I used a promo code on their website, it gave them the authority to charge my card for the full amount of the transaction, as well as the full amount of the transaction after I used the code. They told me that the first charge would fall off in 3-5 business days. But it's ridiculous to charge me twice. I've never heard of another store/business charging someone's card twice because of a coupon!

The third charge was just completely random. No one know where it came from or why. Worst of all, it was the largest amount charged! Save yourself the headache and hassle. Go somewhere else.

Rip off

Bought extra large vase of flowers and 14oz "gourmet chocolates" for my Mom's birthday. She gets the ugly vase below that looks nothing like what I paid for (second pic) and gets a $7.00 box (12oz) of Russell Stovers candy that expired in April 2019! RIP OFF!

Save your time and money

If your reading this it means don't purchase from this place. I had a very horrible experience with the service. They told me my order would be sent all together and I even asked multiple times and was told yes yet the order still was placed for Seperate days my. They also took an additional $100 out my account and had no valid explanation as to why, just that they would refund it within a few business days.

The absolute worse

If I could provide zero stars, I would. After receiving e-mail conformation that my gift to my friend for his birthday had delivered. I thought nothing of it until I spoke to him and he never received the gift. After calling customer service, I found out that the gift I had selected was not in stock and couldn't be delivered. THEN WHY TELL ME IT WAS DELIVERED? Ugh. I was told that they would find a replacement at either same value or higher to make up for this mistake. I was told the gift would be delivered the following day. It never was delivered. After multiple phone calls and much wasted time on hold, I was promised a full refund. So far, I've only received a partial refund. I would NEVER order from them again, I've been sharing my experience and will continue to do so. There are many choices for having gifts delivered and this is the worst of the worst. I will never be using this company again.
