I ordered an arrangement of flowers for my mother's birthday which was supposed to be a puppy made out of flowers. What she got looked horrible nothing close to the picture advance online. Spent 75 dollars on flower which I thought would be beautiful. Wrong don't waste your money with 1800 flowers they just pick random florist that SUCK! The one on the left is what I order, she got the one on the right.

I ordered a large arrangement of flowers for my mother who was recovering from covid-19. She's a healthcare worker and got it while on the job. However when it arrived it was a tiny arrangement that looked terrible. I was highly disappointed. I will never order from there again.

I CALLED 1800-FLOWERS BECAUSE THE WEBSITE STATED IT THAT THE COMPANY COULD DELIVER THE FLOWERS THE SAME DAY. HER BIRTHDAY WAS MAY 2ND. IT WAS A VERY IMPORTANT BIRTHDAY FOR HER.

SOMEONE CONTACTED ME ON MAY 2ND IN THE AFTERNOON STATING THAT THE LOCAL FLORIST WAS UNABLE TO DELIVER THE FLOWERS.

SHE ASSURED ME THAT THE FLOWERS COULD BE DELIVERED THE NEXT DAY WITH A 20 DOLAR COUPON.

THEN I CALLED MAY 3RD TO 1800 FLOWERS BECAUSE I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY TEXTS THAT THE FLOWERS WERE DELIVERED.

I CALLED MAY 3RD AND EVENTUALLY SPOKE TO THE SUPERVISOR AFTER WAITING ON THE PHONE 37MINUTES. I SPOKE TO JEVIN, BADGE NUMBER *******. HE STATED THAT HE CAN DELIVER THE FLOWERS ON MAY 5TH.ER BIRTHDAY WAS MAY 2ND.

IT WAS UNACCEPTABLE. HE STATED HE COULD NOT CHANGE THE DATE. HE CAN ONLY REFUND MY MONEY.

I AM SO SAD AND DISAPPOINTED WITH 1800 FLOWERS. THIS WAS A VERY IMPORTANT BIRTHDAY FOR MY FRIEND, AND THIS COMPANY FAILED, DEEPLY FAILED TO PROVIDE AS A COMPANY! SHAME ON YOU 1800-FLOWERS!

After using this company several times I am done! Every time I order from them there is a problem! My last order was never delivered, when I called customer service I was told my order "got canceled". Furthermore I was told that it would take 2 WEEKS to get my order delivered! Next time I will call the florist directly and bypass this nightmare!

DON'T USE THEM!
May 1, 2020

Don't use them! They change the delivery charge at the end when placing the order. Once you place the order, it's impossible to talk to a customer service rep. There is no way to contact them online, by phone or via an online chat. I had a problem with this company a couple of years ago and forgot. At that time it was because of a mis-representation of the arrangement. Trust all of the bad reviews that you see for 1800flowers.

My Aunt passed, flowers orders on 22APR2020 to be delivered on 27APR2020 for her wake.
Set for 3:30-5:30. I get a text and email at 3:00 stating they were delivered. I ask the funeral home to please get them and put them out. They state there were no deliveries and we look all around and sure enough, no flowers! I call and after being on hold for approximately 15 minutes they look up my order and state, "yes, your flowered were delivered at 2". After telling them they weren't, they reach out to the local florist but can't get a response. It's their policy to not tell you what local florist they use! I call back that night and florist stated they closed at 11 due to covid! Ok, so why lie and say flowers were delivered! Is it so you can say you had on time delivery and didn't expect me to be there on delivery day?! I told them to confirm delivery by 9:00 AM as that was funeral day or I wanted my money back. That wouldn't have made my mom feel good to know there would be no flowers at her sisters funeral from her. I called funeral home at 9:07 and they confirmed delivery. Stressful enough without missing your delivery. I wonder how they deal with this with the local florist shops they use. I would rather leave a review for them as they actually messed up but this is all I have. I won't use again in any case

I placed an order on 4/18 to be delivered for a birthday on 4/24. It was finally delivered on 4/30 - 6 days late! Not only that, but it wasn't what I ordered - it was a sympathy gift from strangers! While it was delayed I tried every type of customer service I could, and it was all horrible. I tried calling on multiple days and would be disconnected after being put on hold. Finally, on the third try I got a human who told me it's FedEx's fault. I'm not the one who picked FedEx, they did, so it is their fault. They have a "100% smile guarantee" but only offered a shipping refund, not a complete refund, even though the flowers would be dead at this point. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Got put on hold for another half hour and then told the supervisor was too busy and would call me back. Big surprise, I never got that callback. I tried email - no reply. I even tried on Twitter - was promised help through a DM, but never heard back. I will never consider using 1-800-Flowers again.

Despicable!
April 29, 2020

My experience happened just last week, during the pandemic. And as everyone can imagine, it's been hard all around. Regardless of the crisis, this in ABSOLUTELY unacceptable behavior! A friend ordered flowers for my mother's funeral. I specifically wanted the rosary made of roses. I had them for my father's funeral, so I'm familiar with this product. About two hours after we got off the phone, she ordered them, and they we delivered! A day earlier than needed, but I thought that would be fine. As I opened them, I realized they were fake roses with real baby's breath. I mentioned it to my friend, as I know how expensive this item is, $180. She flipped out and called to see what happened. About an hour later she calls to tell relay the story. She called both the local florist who delivered the flowers and 1-800-Flowers. Apparently, the local florist who covered the order didn't have real roses and called 1-800-Flowers and asked if they could substitute silk flowers. 1-800-Flowers, without calling my friend and asking her permission, made the decision and gave the local florist the okay AND told them they could delivery it early. $180 decision, with someone else's money! They didn't call to ask if it was ok, they didn't call to ask if maybe she would like to order something else. And since it was already delivered, 1-800-Flowers' policy is that the money can't be refunded! WHAT?!?!?! And they have to remedy an exact exchange amount. So, their solution (after their mistake) was to send another set of rosary beads AFTER the funeral! Despicable! In regular circumstances, this is disgusting, but during a crisis, where people are losing their loved ones, they don't need the added pressure of this kind of obnoxiousness! I happen to order from a sister company, Harry and David often. I called to explain what happened, and they said they can't do anything about it and I would have to complain to 1-800-Flowers directly. So I had Harry and David take me off their mailing list. I will NEVER order from any of these companies again! ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE BEHAVIOR! Blessings, Julia

THIEVES
April 25, 2020

On April 5, my sister's birthday flowers couldn't be delivered, and I was never told why. Finally, after multiple requests, they agreed to a refund. No refund. Called on April 15 again. I was told that I would get a refund in 3 to 5 business days. No refund. Called again. Customer service rep hung up on me. They have stolen $135. Stay away.

Never again
April 24, 2020

First, I ordered a flower to be delivered to a business on a certain date. But, I had to modify the date due to the person's work schedule. To call 1-800-flowers is a joke! You can certainly tell they outsource their work! You have to hold on the line in order to speak to a person over 20+ minutes which I did. I modified the date, the rep promised me an email confirmation---never came. Concerned, since their website DOES NOT update orders, I called back, again over 20 minute wait; again, assured the delivery date had been changed and an email confirming that would be sent... no email. The new delivery date came... and went! NO ORDER WAS DELIVERED. I called to request a refund. Another 20+ minute wait. EVERY time I was on the phone, the rep had to put me on hold before he/she could do ANYTHING! So much time spent on the phone! PLEASE folks, stick to your hometown florist OR get your florist to recommended another in the needed area~!

Horrible
April 20, 2020

My family member died yesterday so what do I think the best thing to do is, yea send flowers. I did this in the morning, paid extra 20.00 to get it to them same day. I get an email from 1800flowers at around 9 p. M they could not deliver the flowers. I was very angry and frustrated but you know what, they still need the flowers. I spend more time, by the end of the call they are pretty much no flowers to send because they are all delivered by the florist. I don't blame the rep, but this should be clearly mentioned on their website before someone orders and waste valuable minutes to try and console a family member.

RIPPED OFF!
April 14, 2020

Our order was supposed to be a fruit box mixture from Harry and David's, to be delivered on 4/10. It was never delivered. Follow up email stated my order would be delivered 4/15. The order was replaced by the company and is NOTHING like I wanted, it is just a box of petit fours. I cannot get anything else replaced and apparently my original order was never available in the first place. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

I ordered flowers from here on Easter Day because they said they would deliver same-day, and with my mom alone on Easter Day for the first time, I thought it would put a smile on her face. I ordered them online and throughout the day I kept checking on the status and it just said "confirmed". They never got sent on Easter. So I called the following day and at first the lady said "I'm going to be honest with you, we don't have anyone in that area to deliver them", then as quickly as she said that, she turned around and said "oh wait, you put on here you wanted them delivered on April 21st, not April 12th". I said " NO, your website said same-day delivery and that's what I asked for". I then said "I even have email confirmation stating they were supposed to be delivered on Easter Day". When I asked her about her comment about them not having anyone to deliver them, she stumbled over her words and backtracked again stating I said the 21st. I told her again I would even send her the confirmation Email stating they were supposed to be delivered April 12th. I then requested a refund. She said she would have to talk to her supervisor, then call me back. I did end up getting a refund, but if I would've known this from the beginning, I could've went somewhere else so my mom could've gotten the flowers on Easter Day. I WOULD NOT recommend getting your flowers from here. I will never use this company again!

Complete fraud

The arrangement that was delivered to my friend was nothing like the arrangement on their website. Completely different flowers, used a ton of cheap filler, and was much smaller than I paid for. STAY AWAY.

Didn't Deliver!
April 11, 2020

I ordered 30 tulips to be delivered on April 11-the day before Easter to help cheer up my daughter, since I had planned to fly to New York to be with her for Easter and travel plans had to be cancelled due to pandemic. I sent my other daughter in MA flowers using a different company and they were delivered as promised.
1-800-flowers confirmed the order and delivery date and charged a total of $100.14 for the order ( flowers, tax, delivery)
They sent me a text at 1150 on 4/11 saying flowers were delivered. Except- they weren't. I contacted my daughter and she checked hourly but no flowers. I tried to call the company but couldn't reach a human. I finally reached someone by online "chat". Back and forth for an hour. Insisted they wanted to resend my flowers on the 17th- 6 days after the holiday! And give me $20 gift card. I insisted if they couldn't deliver before Easter, I wanted a full refund. The push back from the rep was incredible and very upsetting. Ruined the rest of my day. Finally agreed to a refund after a full hour of resistance. I won't know if that happened for 3 dats. To be a good flower company is all about service. If you are understaffed and can't fulfill the order, don't take the money and confirm the order. Have a human available to speak to in customer service. Honor your commitments. I will not use this company again

1800 flowers SUCKS! This is the second time I have ordered something from them and they have screwed me over. Customer Service sucks because half or bbg the dont speak English. NEVER AGAIN. They are quick to take your money but you have to wait 3 to 5 days for a refund and their things are over priced. Very disappointed. Both times my order was never delivered.

I sent flowers to my daughter on her birthday in LA. It is now 4 days after the time of my order. I am not hearing back from 1-800 Flowers. She didn't get her bouquet. I am out $37.00. I am very sorry I ever considered this company. They are still taking orders in a shelter in place time with NO WAY TO DELIVER. Every year my daughter gets daffodils because she was born on the first day of spring. How could any company let this go like this? AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We don't do repeat business with those who cheat us. They took the money and gave us no flowers. Quality control is not there.

Disappointed
March 23, 2020

I ordered flowers for a family members funeral service and was very disappointed in the delivered arrangement. It was didn't look like the arrangement posted from the website.
This actually was not the first time I ordered from 1-800-flowers but, thought I'd give it another go.
Needless to say, I don't think I will be placing another order with this establishment.
This is all I have in terms of my purchase. I actually would not have taken pictures of the flowers at the funeral service as that would have been very disrespectful
