I am so embarrassed these flowers were sent to my friend, they look horrible, nothing close to the picture. Also, the card I wrote wasn't with them so she didn't know who they were from!
What was delivered was not as advertised. I was eagerly awaiting the blooms to come forth trying to guess the color. Then when they did open the smell was wonderful but the flowers were nothing to look at, all sparse and droopy. Flowers all Kadywompus not knowing which way was up. They might win the ugliest flowers award. The photo on the left was what I got vs the photo on the right what was represented as an example of what was to be delivered. The smell was lovely Period. Can't stand to look at them. Hope they backup their satisfaction guarantee. 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
Steer clear of this company when buying flowers... it was a customer service nightmare and my flowers were never delivered. I ordered flowers for a funeral service over 5 days in advance, and received an email saying I'd be notified when they were delivered. The notification never came, and then when I inquired, I was told they would look into and to be patient. Long story short, the flowers were never delivered and I was never notified of it! To make matters worse, customer service LIED and said they tried calling me to notify me. There were absolutely NO calls in my history from them, and there were no emails in my spam box, etc. They absolutely cannot be trusted to fulfill an order, and you really should move onto another company.
Ordered 2 dozen roses for Valentine's Day came all wilted, sent three emails to co. No response. Finally called they said a reshipment would arrive in two days. Still waiting, no flowers, no response. It is now Feb 28th. No flowers. Just got an email consisting of a form letter telling me I would get a reshipment. I had asked for a refund. I will never do any business with this so called Co. Again. Buyer beware
On Saturday Feb. 20,2020, I ordered a large arrangement from 1-800-Flowers for my daughter who just had her first child. I look all over the internet to see who could deliver the same day and 1-800-Flowers was the only one that said they could. Come to find out they could not deliver the same day because the florist could not do the arrangement due to lack of the proper flowers in stock and now it would be Monday before they could deliver the arrangement. So late Monday afternoon they delivered a arrangement that did ever come close to what I payed a $100 for, more like $10 arrangement and they could even get ribbon color correct. I was so mad I could spit nails. I gave 1-800-Flowers, ZERO STARS!
For Valentines day 2020, I ordered roses and a box of fruit and chocolate for my wife. 1800flowers delivered the roses to my address in Texas and delivered the fruit and chocolates to my old address in Venetia, PA. How they could split the order I will never know. I called to get it corrected and they promised to deliver the fruit and chocolates on the next available date, 5 days later on the 19th. I said go ahead, and my wife has still not received the gift. I don't think I will use them again, there are many choices and the main reason I used them was Rush Limbaugh. Won't do it again.
For two straight years I ordered a gift for my mother on her birthday from this company. For two straight years, they managed not to deliver it on her birthday. (This year they added the touch of continuously sending false, reassuring emails throughout the day that their vender was "hard at work" fulfilling the order, all the way to the point where the vendor closed shop for the night without doing jack to fulfill the order. I also got a chance to spend some quality time with the company's worthless offshore customer service department, who were only awesome at wasting my time.) I won't give this company a third chance to rip me off and disappoint my mother. I won't use this company again and will be turning to more reliable companies in the future for my gift giving. Unless you relish disappointment, I would urge others to do the same.
My husband ordered flowers to be delivered to me at work on Valentine's day. Always the procrastinator, he paid extra to ensure Valentine's day delivery delivery. $150...
They never showed up. He got an email stating that delivery had been made. He called them to tell them they hadn't been delivered. They said they had been left on the stoop... what stoop? These weren't delivered to a residence- this was an office.
He requested a refund and they told him the could only refund 50%! WTH, they were never delivered! So the attendant told him to wait and put him on hold. 45 mins later he hung up and called again. Then they tell him they will send 2 doz roses to be delivered the next day. He tells them no, that is NOT what he ordered, nor would the following day be Valentine's day. He again requested a refund, to be told, please hold!
In summary, mistakes happen and they need to treat people with dignaty & respect and take responsibility for delivery faux pas.
I ordered flowers for my wife and received a bill for $59.99 plus $4.99 shipping charge and tax of $4.55.
Total was $69.53. My confirmation number was W*******2485.
I then received an email with another statement with total cost of $102.11
On the bill was a fee for a passport annual membership which I did not approve or ask for. The cost of the membership was $42.11.
I called 1800Flowers and told them there was a mistake. I did not join anything. I was told I would be refunded the annual membership fee minus an $16 charge for delivery since I did not join the passport club.
I have the original confirmation# and statement for $69.53. I also have another statement for $102.11.
This looks like me to be a scam.
An unassuming person would just pay the $102.11 bill. A person like me who called an canceled the annual passport fee in the end was charged an extra $17.00. I wonder how many people get sucked into this. I doubt I'm the only one. CHECK YOUR BILLING STTATEMENT!
I ordered flowers for my mother n laws birthday and the first one was supposed to been sent feb 7th I looked and saw it never was sent out I called and they said no local florists was available. They said they had something they could send by fed ex that would get there within two or three days, well it's now the 17th and still nothing and I waited on the phone the day I did call them for over an hour. Today I called and demanded a refund and they were still trying to get me to sent something else I will never order from them again.
IN FEBRUARY THEY DELIVERED A SYMPATHY PLANT AND LEFT IT ON OUR FRONT PORCH. THE PLANT WAS FOUND FROZEN AND DEAD. WE CALLED 1800 FLOWERS AND PROVIDED THEM WITH THE TRACKING AND PO NUMBERS. THEY SAID THAT THOSE NUMBERS DIDN'T HELP AND THAT THEY HAD NO RECORD OF THE PURCHASE. IT APPEARS THAT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SET UP FOR THE PURCHASER AND NOT THE RECEIVER...
I ordered Valentine's Day flowers for my wife at her office on 13 Feb (the day before V-Day) since she would not be in the office on the 14th and they would just sit for the extended weekend. Like others that have complained on this site the flowers were not delivered (they subcontracted to FedEx for delivery). I called and the lady I spoke to (sounded like a call center outsourced in the Philippines) said they would be delivered on the 14th which was unacceptable. I was also told they couldn't do anything until after the 14th. As a result I had to run out the evening of the 13th to get flowers as my local grocery store.
I called on the 15th (again rep sounded like he was in a call center outsourced in the Philippines) and had to battle with the 1-800 FLOWERS customer service rep for 42 min to get the full refund that I was requesting. Since I had already bought flowers elsewhere why should I pay 1-800 for flowers not delivered when they promised? After all Valentine's Day flowers received 3 days late are just Monday morning flowers. Three times the rep tried to offer me more flowers delivered and a 50% refund which was unacceptable. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I think he blew a brain diode because there was silence for about a minute. Ultimately he said there was no need to speak to a supervisor and that he would process the full refund. (Now why didn't he just give that to me in the first place like I asked?!) The cherry on top is that he asked me to give him a 5 star rating whey they sent me a survey. WOW! Some nerve! This will be my last time using 1-800 FLOWERS.
I am the last guy to ever write a review. However my last experience with 1800 flowers was a nightmare. I paid extra to get the order delivered on the 14th, which they didnt do. I explained that i spent with them over $500 on the month of December ALONE. They offered to give me 50% off the order and redeliver... guess when the redelivery date was for? Feb 25th lol thats insane. My girlfriend was literally waiting around all day expecting these flowers and chocolates, V-Day is a super important day for her and i planned this a week before to make sure to get it right. And i relied on the wrong company!
DONT DO IT!
I called to tell them that the flowers I ordered were never delivered they kept me on the phone for an hour to find a replacement then told me they could replace them to be delivered six days later. Of course I asked fora refund which they said that's not possible, I demanded it they left me on hold for another fifteen minutes, told me a second time no refund was possible, I again demanded it then on hold another ten minutes to be told my refund was being processed WTF? Never again.
My order was to be delivered to my wife on Valentine's Day. They never arrived and I wasn't given a courtesy call. It wasn't until I sent an email that they offered a $20 pass. When I responded that I would like a full refund, the clearly foreign operator went in circles with me until the full amount was agreed to be refunded. This was the last time I would use their services. My advice, use your local florist.
They didn't deliver my order. I am so disappointed. They ruined my Valentine's Day and they wouldn't give my money back.
Waited until eight o'clock at night for my flowers and then they came thy looked nothing like the ones that were ordered. They were half the size, dead flowers. How much extra money do they make like this? One year they delivered a day late. My son forgot about that. They should be put out of business! The Purple vase are the flowers that were ordered. The other flowers were delivered.
The only thing I was impressed with was the time of delivery. The flowers I purchased for my wife for Valentine's day arrived early at her place of work. Only to find that the pedals the roses were dried wilting along with drooping and wilted leaves. The Valentine's message I rote to be sent with the flowers was not delivered.
I'd first like to say, this is my first and last experience with this place. I ordered what I thought was a beautiful setting of flowers. My wife told me I never by her flowers. So this year I gave in and ordered them for her as a valentines gift. They were delivered on time which I was happy. But when my wife opened the box it was the worse thing I have ever seen in a flower arrangement. So I called customer service and they assured me that my wife would receive a better quality item the next day. Guess what they lied and where still waiting on a re delivery. No one is answering the phone lines. So people if you deal with this place, don't be surprised of the garbage you may receive.
I have NEVER taken the time to write a review, good or bad, however my experience with this company is worth wasting another 20-30 minutes so hopefully someone else can avoid the nightmare I had to endure!
I order Flowers quite often in the Ft Meyers Fl area. Valentines Day was coming up and I heard a radio promo that said 12 long stem red roses for $19.99 and for an additional $10 my order would be increased to 18 long stem rises. I have never used 1-800flowers before, but because of the price, I was willing to give them a try.
The ordering process was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever encountered. It took me almost 45 mins to place my order! I found out I was calling the Philippines to place my order. Overseas call centers are not uncommon, but most companies take the time to hire people who can speak and understand English if they are taking orders from the United States.
I had to ask every question several times because I could not understand the woman who was taking my order. Then when she spoke I could barely understand her. I had serious concerns that my order was even going to make it to its destination. The representative I dealt with did not understand anything about the promotions or the products the company offers! I was constantly put on hold so that she could ask someone the answer to the question I had just asked.
When the order did arrive my name was spelled wrong and the flower arrangement was nothing like I expected. I was enrolled in some program in order to save the shipping costs, and when I asked what the program was the representative had no idea! I still don't know what I am enrolled in.
Here is the saddest part, after spending so much time on the phone, just to save a few dollars from a promotion I heard on the radio, my 18 roses which were supposed to cost $29.99 ended up costing me $64 and change... lol. After arguing about the cost is when they enrolled me into the program that she could not explain to me! This was after being put on hold or mute at least 8-10 times to get the price back down.
The bottom line is, I would not order another flower from this company if they gave me every order for FREE the rest of my life! That is what I get for trying to save a few dollars!
