1-800-frustrated

I originally placed my order for a bouquet of flowers to be sent to my mother's house the saturday before Father's Day. My father passed away in August of last year and I wanted to send some red white and blue flowers to sit next to his american flag urn. I placed the order on the 18th to be delivered on the 19th. Got a delivery confirmation email stating they had been delivered, they were not. Filed for a replacement to be sent on June 22nd, got a delivery confirmation email stating they had been delivered, they were not. Filed for a replacement to be sent on June 24th, got a delivery confirmation email stating they had been delivered, they were not. At this point I was just over it and wanted a refund, thank goodness for the Customer Service Rep Shenelle. She was so nice and understanding about my frustration of three failed attempts and authorized me a full refund and a $20 coupon. Was very dissatisfied with my ordering experience, but was very pleased with Customer Service.

I used 1-800 flowers as well as other brands from their family group and been very happy.
Something has changed, delivery is now late, the customer service is awful. I will never order from them again. For a company that sells gifts for special occasions they sure know how to ruin them.

In February I relied on 800 Flowers to deliver VDay flowers. Well, they didn't. Their Florist in Raleigh just completely failed to deliver the flowers. Not the Vday is big or anything. Made me look real good. You know, not sending flowers on Vday.

So when my anniversary came up, hey lightning could not strike twice, right? So I ordered my flowers days ago to be delivered today, June 24th. As of 4:30 pm... no flowers? So I called customer service. They said the florist was out of vases and asked if tomorrow would be OK. Thanks for the notice guys! It's not like TODAY was the anniversary.

It's a shame their florists are not as diligent as their credit card processing company.

As I run a customer service floor, here is what should have immediately happened: (1) apologize; (2) contact the florist and have something delivered immediately. No excuses. If not, get out of the business of having set delivery days.

So if you have a date that is important to you, understand, they do not care because it is not important to them. Go with someone else. As for me, heading to the local grocery store to correct their error myself and get the two dozen roses that I paid for and they failed to deliver.

And I will gladly remove or alter this review if they make it right. But this is just bad business.

I ordered a plant in a large glass container but they delivered flowers in a vase. I realize the policy states they may have to alter the selection based on availability but I assumed the item would at least be similar to what was ordered. Not so much, you know what happens when you assume!

This is the large floral arrangement we ordered for a family member vs. what they got. Pretty sure that's a fake flower on the left if you look closely at the stem. Not only was it humiliating for us, but disgusting beyond belief of the part of 1-800-flowers. Their only response was "you can only another if you want and we'll give you a discount."

My mom sent me a photo of what she got and I was furious. OMG. Awful. I reached out to this company to send a suitable replacement. No response. Stay away from this company. If this wasn't fraud, I don't know what is.

I ordered a plant for my aunt's birthday a week in advance, I got a phone call the day before her b-day telling me it will be delivered next month. I will never use this company again. Just call a local flower shop and place you're order.

THIS IS BAD SERVICE!

I placed an order on May 22nd for my friend's 50th birthday, only to know the day after that she was away for the whole week. I got in touch with a customer service representative yesterday (May 23rd) that assured me that I could still reschedule the delivery tomorrow (today, May 24th) once I knew the exact date of her return. The delivery was schedule for May 25th.

I reached out today to change the delivery date, only to be told there was nothing to be done and that it was too late. I am furious! I could have changed it yesterday when it was still possible but was assured I could still reschedule today...
THIS IS BAD SERVICE!

These people should be put out of business! They're just selling a product and have no regard for live plants and flowers. Where are the crazy environmentalist when it comes to companies like this?
They sent me a LIVE oak tree, already sprouted, IN A BOX, and they put it through the US postal system. It was all dented when it got here. I have a brown thumb; I have no idea what to do with it. Plus, my dad just died; it sat in the box for two days because I had no idea there was a live tree in it. Think people! You don't mail live plants in an enclosed box!

READ BEFORE ORDERING!

LOOK ELSEWHERE for long distance flower delivery. 1-800-flowers.com is completely unreliable. This company DOES NOT use local florists to fulfill their Fresh flower Orders. I placed order to be delivered in 3 days. It has now been 5 days and customer service says 2 more days till delivery. Oh, and that could be as late as 8pm 7 days after placing order. Outrageous. I was offered a $20 "Flowers.com" gift card for my inconvience. How insulting can they be? Do you really have a hope or prayer that I would would order anything from this conglomerate? Ha! I could have upgraded to next day for 33% more but I could not find in the fine print that you could have 'fresh' flowers delayed for delivered by 7 days. Who knew 'fresh' was defined by "Flowers" as 2 or 3 weeks after they are picked. 'Cause I don't think they were 'picked' in Buffalo, NY.
Do yourself a favor, call another delivery service. I've used others that can be trusted. Any other service is better than "Flowers"
I will update this review to tell you how "fresh" the flowers are when delivered from Buffalo, NY to Nashville, TN. I live in PA. Go figure. You can thank me later. Ha

Ordered a few days ahead to surprise mom on her birthday. Needless to say, its 5 days after her birthday and still no flowers. There is no place on their website to send them a message or to cancel the order. A robot answers the phone & you can't get a csr. I do not want the flowers 5 days late. They are a rip off, please don't waste your money. I am out $82 and I'm very upset.

Stay away. Especially on busy holidays. Outsourced customer service who do the best that they can but brutal experience. Delivery date is not a commitment even after they say it is. Will blame their supplier after they have your money. Took me over 40 minutes on a call to finally get my money refunded (7-10 day later). I canceled my membership and account. Will never use again. First-time I ordered they claimed they could not find the house. Have never had that problem with any other business. Gave it another go for Mothers Day. They were never delivered. Called and they said they had to change the order because vendor was out. They NEVER contacted me about this. Gave me a new delivery date, once again NEVER delivered. Called and same problem but they moved the delivery to 6 WEEKS later. Once again, NEVER notified of the change. Had to fight for an hour to get my refund. WILL NEVER NEVER order from them again.

I WROTE TO 1-800 FLOWERS THEY SAID OH WE WILL SEND YOU MORE FLOWERS AND GIVE YOUR SON A 20% SHOPPING PASS DID NOT RECEIVE EITHER. WHAT A JOKE THIS COMPANY IS.

I ordered a plant for my daughter... Against my better judgment because they have screwed up multiple times before... But it was the only way. Not only did I pay for next day... 8 days later still no plant. I called to find out what is going on... And the call was answered outside the country... So language was an issue... The women said they didnt even have what I ordered and it would be even longer for what she would choose as a replacement. Mind you the item I ordered is still on the site and available. This company is. A scam YOU NEVER GET WHAT YOU ORDER... ITS ALWAYS LATE AND THE PRODUCT IS TERRIBLE QUALITY... SAVE YOUR MONEY... THIS IS A WASTE... YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN
