Does trivago check for scams on vacation rental property? we are looking to book a house in hampton beach i can not find any listing for the booking agent (veroma vacation rentals). does trivago guarantee the ownership of the propertys they advertise?

Trivago doesn't check anything but their bank balance. Avoid them!

I have a complaint on about my booking hotel reference # 321-1854728 (#49625) & 321-1854614 (#49521). your booking agency prestigia.com wrongly cancel bookings. now they cannot resume the 5 days/4 night hotel rooms for us. checked with hotel who advised that the booking ref 49625 / 49521 is on period on 27-29/ aug. however we have not get the voucher form your prestigia.com till now. how can we do? pls help

In order to make any changes, cancel, or confirm your current reservation, you will need to contact Prestigia directly. On trivago, users can search and compare different hotels and prices on our site. We pull information from multiple OTAs (online travel agencies such as Expedia or Booking.com) and display the prices together. However, once a user clicks through to view deal, they are directed to the appropriate booking site which provides that price to complete reservation and payment details. I need to cancel my reservation for friday, august 19th, the third night of my current three night reservation at the doubletree in austin, tx, and get a refund. hilton says i have to do it through trivago because i pre-paid through you. how do i do that? thanks.
