Trivago's American and Canadian platforms show prices per room per night before taxes and fees are included. We have run several tests, and this proves to be the most recognized and common way for both retail and online products to be displayed within North America. Therefore, we try to remain as localized as possible for our different users.

The majority of our European platforms display prices already including taxes and fees, as this is the norm in these countries.
