Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from AliExpress staff and previous consumers.
Please DO NOT order from anyone on AliExpress. By doing so you are promoting and encouraging the theft of property which belongs to someone else. Quite often they are people like me whose art has been stolen by thieves who know exactly what they are doing and that is it against the law. I have had over 200 instances where my original art has be stolen by about a dozen different sellers. Not to mention a lot of the stuff on there is produced in a sweatshop type environment where people work for slave wages. Ordering from sites like this hurts legitimate businesses AND workers alike. Do your home country a favor and buy local rather than trying to get by on the cheap with these poor quality knock offs.
Custom charges depend upon you local law. It is charged by the government where goods are received.
It depends on the product. Keep in mind that even if it looks like MAC packaging what you are getting is a knockoff and not actual MAC. Same with any other name brand. It will be a dupe. That said, they have a brand called "MeNow" that from research I've seen online seems to be safe (in compliance with US standards except for one of their eyeliners) and they make some decent lip glosses. And as with anything else from this store make sure the seller's got good reviews before you spend your money.
I planned to buy wholesale from this site but first i tried single items from different sellers. It is great if you dont encounter dodgy sellers. But when I encountered China's Wholesale and Retail Store via Emma Chen as seller, i had problems and opened a dispute. That's when i realized how dodgy aliexpress or alibaba management is. They would not honour " Seller pays for return shipping if product not as described" despite acknowledging that the seller sent a product different from photos and description and despite all the evidences i provided. If you are prepared to have a battle in the future, go for it. They protect sellers cos they get commissions from them, not the buyers.
I've noticed, if you copy and paste the part of their terms of service that pertains to an issue and send to the buyer you are having trouble with, then they listen. Just gotta get stern. They tried to say I couldn't get a refund when they sent it to the wrong address on accident, found the part in the terms that stated if its the sellers fault, buyer gets full refund, and I got my refund almost immediately after sending it.
Depends what it is. Electronics no. But like pedi stuff dresses yes if they have more then 250 WRITTEN reviews and those little diamond icons by their name. Also if they have real images of the product even better! Been ordering from here since 2011 have had pretty good luck. All my prom dresses were lovely and bridesmaid dresses too. Shoes are good quality as well.
It depends on the supplier, and the shipping method used, but it should be between 3weeks and 3 months.
