I have never had a bad experience with amazon. I would like to give a shout out to their customer service, the best I've dealt with. My post office lost a package from Amazon, although they denied this stating it wasn't delivered to them because it was never checked in by them. What? Anyway I contacted Amazon and they shipped the item overnight and I had it the next morning. I asked them to not go through my post office and please send it any other way. Not only did they overnight it, I was not charged.

I purchased several pieces of "sterling silver" jewelry. The pictures of the items were very nice, the description of the jewelry claimed they have real gem stones set in sterling silver. What I received can only be described as cheap knockoff garbage. I didn't bother to send them back because they would have turned around and sold this worthless junk to someone else. So I put them where they belonged, in the garbage. Do not shop on Wish, stick with e-bay or amazon. I should have known better when all reviews of said items were 4-5 stars, 0 negative reviews. Very shady, can't believe they're still in business.

Wonderful products. I buy their lotions, body spray, perfume, soaps, air fresheners, shampoo/conditioner and candles. I've been shopping here for years and have never been disappointed.

I won a bid for a refurbished Dell laptop for my husband. He didn't need anything fancy so we both thought this would be fine for his needs. When it finally arrived it in no way looked like the picture on Tophatters website. Someone had beat the hell out of it. I 'm not sure what you'd have to do to get a laptop in this condition. It looked liked it had taken the brunt of someones anger issues. But for the price if it worked we could overlook the condition. I go to charge it up and find no power cord/battery pack has been included. I send an email regarding this major oversite but get no response. I go to Amazon and buy one for 6.00, no biggie. Two days later I get the missing items. It would have been nice if someone had informed me they had been shipped instead of magically appearing with no explanation. Anyway, we plug it in. My husband spends the next 2 hours just trying to connect to the internet. There were so many things wrong that it was obvious it was never refurbished. I contacted Tophatter about returning it for a refund. I was supposed to have a return label emailed to me but I never received one. I returned to tophatter looking for someway of contacting their CS other than email, which no-one pays attention to. I happened to see a email from I guess the seller, and he was kind enough to send me an address where I could return the laptop, on my dime. Ya, I don't think so. I tried repeatedly to get someone to respond, which someone finally did, but I had thrown it out by then. Lesson learned, not worth the headache. I deleted my account.

When I first found this auction site I thought it was great. I bid on and won several items. The shipping was extremely high but other than that items I received were as described. Then things started to go steadily down hill. First was a bracelet, when I unwrapped it I could tell just by looking that there was no way it would fit. Links had been removed making it perfect for a child. Had the description accurately stated it was child size I would never have placed a bid. The second issue was with vintage glass christmas ornaments. When looking at the pictures provided, everything looked fine. Upon arrival, maybe 2-3 were execeptable, one was even plastic, like I wouldn't notice? I would expect them to have been used and not pristine but I never would have bid on them had I been able to see the actual condition they were in. All the photos were taken of the ornaments in boxes only showing the good sides. No where in the description was anything mentioned about the rough condition they were in. I have found their photos/descriptions to be less than accurate. The crappier the photo I can guarantee they're hiding some obvious flaw. This last incident was the final straw. I was bidding on a lithograph and made sure I was online for the final 20 min. Of the auction. I did not want to be outbid. The seconds ticked down to 0 and the screen informed me I had won the bid. I checked the page that shows what items you've won and clicked the button to pay for the picture. A notice popped up stating the seller would email me with shipping fees and I could complete the purchase at that time. I never received the email so I went to EBTH to check the status and this particular item was no longer listed, it had magically disappeared. When I tracked the picture down to my absolute shock, there in bold red letters were the words, YOU'VE BEEN OUTBID. Excuse me? How can this be remotely possible? What sort of scam are these people running? I have sent an email to the seller but I don't expect a response. There are honest sellers on this site but as always the dishonest ones ruin it for everyone. I have since deleted my account and want nothing more to do with them. If you come across this website just keep going, you're bound to find a reputable auction site without a band of thieves running the business.
