I try to check reviews here before signing up or buying online. Usually end up regretting it when I don't.
When plugging in the laptop I get a spark at the entry point, then entire unit goes black. This happens with battery in and/or out. It's no longer under warranty. Laptop 15 w/touchscreen- its not damaged in any way. Cord is also in pristine condition. Like new.
Was instructed to not plug in the device and leave the battery out, which I have done. This is a fire risk. A safety issue. A defective unit, sold by HP.
I have been waiting 2 weeks for HP " Escalation MGMT" to get back to me. Called them dozen times+, issue has been escalated to management, but NOTHING has been resolved. I just get the brush off. Transferred back and forth only to be told "It's not my dept"... and to "Just wait longer".
BAD CUST SERVICE FOR A PRODUCT THAT IS A FIRE RISK
ALL I WANTED THEM TO DO WAS FIX THE LAPTOP. Repair the prob, eliminate the fire risk, etc. without trying to make me pay for this. I FIGURE I'M ACTUALLY SAVING THEM MONEY, WITH A REPAIR BEFORE IT CAUGHT MY MY HOUSE ON FIRE and I sued them for it, etc.
The worst cust svc dept. HP does not care if their products are JUNK. I will NEVER buy from HP AGAIN. What a nightmare. In the meantime I suffer, having to use my tablet or backup crappy little laptop with a tiny screen.
Email from them - BEFORE using the site to buy or sell anything - literally no activity... saying
"We noticed activity on your account that violates our Community Guidelines As a result, we've removed your account from OfferUp" I'm assuming my account was hacked
Because I haven't even logged in since I opened it.
So inquire. 6 msgs before I received a very thin reply:
"It appears a technical issue caused your account to enter a locked state. We've made some changes that have resolved the issue. Good luck buying and selling!" LoL (as in good luck, you're going to need it!) I get the feeling it's not a very secure site, lots of reviews with spam issues and being infested with scammers. I closed my account. Craigslist is also scammer's ghetto, but we're used to it. I think the offerup ppl are just too green, and don't give a rat's $#*! about their legit users. Just saying
Tip for consumers:
Shady company - they don't know what the heck they're doing and your info won't be secure.

None. Closed account
Advertised 1.95 for a month of website/domain service. I never agreed to auto renew, but they were doing it. I signed up for 1 month to try it. They kept billing for service@ 10.00 each. I never would have agreed to that amount. The website never even had any traffic, and I hadn't checked my it. I figured it was no longer up, because I only paid for the 1 month. This went on for 7 months. They refuse to give any refund. Chatting with customer service she says no supervisor was available to chat with me either (of course).
Tip for consumers:
DON'T they are shady and they lie!!

monthly service
Ya, PRAY NOTHING GOES WRONG with your booking bcuz these ppl COULDN'T CARE LESS. The cust svc dept (both 800# and website) is set up to take you nowhere - circular nightmare with no viable way to reach a human. If you dont have DETAILS (booking conf# AND a PIN) of a booking you've made then forget it. OF COURSE MINE ARE NEVER LISTED. Blacklisting these ppl b4 i have an aneurism
Tip for consumers:
Doesn't end up being a bargain at all. Never again!
Products used:
A ghetto status room @ reg seasonal rate with no options or help after check in. Hotel says contact booking.com since you gave payment and booked thru them -- booking.com is unreachable
FINALLY got verified, BUT: I had to do it at 3am, after waiting for over 5 hours. That's LITERALLY waiting in front of my laptop for 5+ hours. I did this 3 different times. Once the referee finally connected with me, he was pleasant, professional and helped to complete the tedious process. Have not heard a word from EDD though. NO confirmation or acknowledgement at all. So NOW WHAT? LOL
