I hired Danny Mills Handyman. They have this informational blip online that says and I quote: 'With 5 years experience we pride our company on reliability, great communication, integrity, and quality work. We are experts in our trade and will do our best to keep you as educated as we can on your particular task or project.' I have just experienced their 'reliability, communication, education, etc.' and would love to pass on that experience.
I have a leaky spigot. I bought a new one on Amazon and needed it replaced. However, the old spigot had paint on it. He comes out to the house, analyzes the situation, quotes me a price which I didn't think was enough and I said that. I told him what I would pay which was more than he offered. He discovered that the wrench wasn't big enough to replace the spigot so he offered to come back the next day to work on said spigot. I explained that I had to work but I'd leave the gate unlocked and where the new spigot and check would be. Didn't hear anything so I texted from work. There was a family emergency and he said he would be out tomorrow. After a few convos, he apologizes because he got me confused with someone else. He sent a text that he would be out shortly. I didn't get that text til later but anywho, they show up just as I get home from work. I was told it would take only a few minutes. I said that I had just got home from work and I had to let my dogs out to tinkle so please let me know when the job is done. They didn't. I note they are gone at 3:23 PM. My water is not turned on. I text and no answer. I call and no answer. The check is gone and the new spigot is on. They left their cig butts and plumber's tape near the spigot. I look a tad closer and sure enough, they tore up the copper piping. I now have no water and it's a holiday weekend. I put a stop payment on the check but why would these jerks just leave? Did they not think I would find out? I should have read the reviews but it was just a spigot, you know? It's a shame because I had plenty more jobs for him to do. I now have to hire someone else and take this guy and his buddy to small claims court. Heavy sigh.

Tip for consumers:
Read reviews. I'm always great at that but I didn't with Danny because hey! It's a spigot, for God's sake.

I ended up paying $189 to have my copper pipe fixed. I adopted his plumber's tape though. What a jerk.

I scheduled a trip in May to go to Vegas this weekend. Last week, I couldn't recall if I had scheduled a trip because I had no emails and when I logged onto the Allegiant site, only my trip in December was showing (I did NOT make the trip in December through these gate keepers). Funny that. I kept running searches in my inbox for allegiant and nothing showed up... just the trip in December. I found a text from gogatego or whatever they call themselves and got the first trip cancelled. Sounds easy but it wasn't. I had to dig through crap trying to find a confirmation number. GoGator says they can cancel but they refused when I asked. They also said that they saw this flight info on Allegiant's site.
Yeah, well, I have a screen shot that says otherwise. Since I received no emails from them, it was no wonder I couldn't remember if I had booked a trip through them. No matter, I won't be doing the Gate people anymore. Because of my faulty memory, I don't get a refund so I hope the Pearly Gates and Allegiant enjoy the money that should have been reimbursed to me. Lesson learned... GoToThatTheirGate sucks with their communication skills. They should take that money and teach English to their employees.

Tip for consumers:
don't.

I was charged 27.59 on April 3 for yard work. On April 5, I texted and said I am not going to pay in advance for tshi not done. I get a message that they'll get back with me. Whatever. I send a message to them through the app that the yard was not done on April 6 but I was charged and presto! My yard gets done that day!

My bush trim is April 28 and I was charged $56.00 on April 10.

My yard trim is April 19 and I was charged $27.59 on April 10. I've got a screen shot of my app to prove it. I've got security cameras to prove when they come out. I have emailed and left my phone number for them to call me back. I've been waiting over a week for the next customer service representative to call me back. Fast chance in hell. Their boilermaker ‘policy' says they don't charge in advance. However, I'm on a first name basis with my credit card so I file disputes and get the money back but why should I have to do that?

There's a reason why this company has an F with the BBB.

Tip for consumers:
keep an eye on your bank account

just somebody to mow the yard, I guess

Hulu has zero problems taking money out of my checking account. In exchange for my money, i have to call customer service to find out why 'my stuff' shows programs unwatched when, in fact, they have been watched. Last week, i was told 'they are working on it' and my stuff will be cured in '3 to 6 hrs'. I knew that was bull$#*! and said so. I was correct (big shock there) and here i am again.

Another week, same problem.

I call and im told Hulu is suffering from 'high call volume' and i can be called back. Before i can choose that option, some guy (*$#*!) gets online. So much for 'high call volume', eh? Twelve minutes later, i have rattled off the last 4 digits of every credit card i have and none match what is on file. Because i have paid my bill and the 4 digits are not matching, i can't be 'verified.' that, imo, is a bigger issue than what is watched vs. unwatched and when i ask to speak to somebody about THAT issue first, I'm told I'm 'hostile' and he refuses to transfer me.

My money is MY priority and i can readily understand why it is not $#*!'s. In exchange, i could care less about $#*!'s finances.

So what would you like to do? I have options. File a BBB complaint, stop payment; switch to Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, Crackle.

It appears as if I am paying you to answer that question because God knows I'm not paying for anything else. Drop kick me, Jesus, if I'm lying.

* name changed to protect the stupid but I do have the call recorded.

I buy 5 shirts for $106.2 arrive: 1 is perfect & the other is WAY off in measurement (not as advertised). The other shirts never show up. Paypal wants pics and looking back, i have no idea why. I supplied pics and links. Wotoba wanted me to ship back both shirts which would cost me $180.

Financially, that makes no sense to me but it does to the seller and some Filipino chick from paypal.

They got my $106 and ive got one shirt.

This place is crawling with catfish. I finally wrote mate1 and told them that they need to pay ME to turn in the scammers instead of me paying mate 1 to have my mail box littered with them. I cancelled the membership after 3 weeks but NO refund... they keep the money.
