I can't speak for the returns department, but sephora is great for online shopping! They have never had any issues or mistakes with their shipments to me, shipping is always fast, and their products are always beautifully and carefully packed! I am not one to ever return beauty products anyway, so I am totally happy with them.

As with the other reviews, I can attest to the fact that during checkout, after clicking "confirm" or "pay" or whatever the typical last step of the check out process is, Dermstore displays a rectangle advertising some supplemental product or beauty device for a discounted price, with two buttons below it, one that says "im interested" and the other "im not interested" or something like that. It was a product that I was indeed interested in, but in no way wanted to purchase just yet! I clicked interested, and next thing I know, it was not only tacked onto my shopping basket, but my order was actually COMPLETE. I have been dealing with bad customer service experiences all day (today is not my day), so I sent an immediate email to cancel the order and ended up removing both products from my order and cancelling my order entirely. I wanted to make a new order for just the one item I had intended to purchase originally, but my promo code had been "used up" after this ordeal, so now they lost a customer.

I know that Dermstore claims those supplemental products are just suggestions, and that buyers are free to decline them or remove them from your order "easily." First of all, it is not clear at ALL that by clicking "interested" it means you will be charged the cost of the item. Dermstore seems to have great products, but their business model is seriously endangering their company! It's unprofessional and unwanted to force customers to have to go through the hassle of removing a supplemental, unwanted item from the order once it has been placed, and doing so also removes any and all promo codes (I was trying to use the new subscriber one). I really urge Dermstore to reconsider their approach, for it is very off-putting to see that kind of thing going on! It may be legal, in a loop-hole filling way, but it is off-putting to new customers.

Tip for consumers:
IGNORE ALL POP UPS WITH PRODUCT OFFERS. Click not interested or no when prompted during the checkout process.

I really do love Nasty Gal: their clothes are high quality and their customer service is pretty good! The only negative thing I have to say about them is that they can take a while with their refunds. In my experience, the only was I could receive a refund for a return I had shipped out is by emailing them about three weeks after I had shipped out my return. Once I emailed them asking about the status of the return, the refund would magically enter my Paypal! They are a great business, just a tip if you're having issues with refunds.

Wow, I'm so surprised to read all the negative reviews on here! I have never had any issues with Free People that would warrant me giving them anything less than a five. I have returned plenty of items to them, and my refunds were issued on the same or next day that they received my returned item. Moreover, they recently sent me the wrong item, and I simply called them and they quickly arranged for the correct item to be sent over with 1 day express mail, and my return was accepted quickly too. I really love FP, I order a LOT of stuff online from various stores all the time, and they really have amazing customer service. I'm noticing the reviews on here tend to focus on items that were damaged, or mistakes made by customer service reps that are out of their control, and in all of the reviews I've seen here, the customers got their money back or were compensated in some way! Don't let the reviews scare you, if you ever encounter any issues with FP, do contact their customer service! Also I'm not a paid reviewer, you can read my other reviews. I really do respect Free People and appreciate their customer service!

I used to LOVE Fashion Nova. Their jeans are literally amazing, and I run a small Depop shop and regularly refer people to Fashion Nova jeans, believe it or not. They have so many options for so cheap! The problem comes to their customer service. If you are lucky enough to never reach any issues, Fashion Nova is great. However, when it comes to returns, they are the absolute worst. I have never returned a Fashion Nova item because a) I was happy with it and b) I knew that I would only receive store credit. It's their policy, and I happily abide by it. Moreover, I knew that they don't accept returns for bodysuits, and I purchase a lot of them, so if they aren't perfect, I keep them anyway because I respect that they are non-returnable!

Last week, I received an order from them, and one of the items, a bodysuit, was actually visibly damaged (the sewing was coming out pretty badly and it was unwearable) and, because I chose to not even open the bodysuit up (its in a sealed bag), I emailed their customer service for help. I had a few back and forth emails with a kind rep named Domonique, who, after I sent several pictures of the damage, of the sealed bag, and of my return shipping postage, stated that I would receive reimbursement in store credit for the bodysuit and for the return shipping, and that was that. I was very pleased! Until yesterday.

I received an email yesterday morning alerting me of my reimbursement gift card, which was about half of the cost of the bodysuit. I emailed customer service again and kindly asked if this was a reimbursement for my shipping, or just one of two reimbursement gift cards, for that was about a third of the amount I was promised.

A rep replied and flatly told me that was my reimbursement for the bodysuit, and implied that that was all I was getting. I obviously replied and reexplained the whole situation, but I really am unhappy with my experience! I was not even provided with an explanation by the second service rep. I would NOT have returned the unopened bodysuit if I wasn't promised by Domonique that I would receive a full reimbursement for the bodysuit and the shipping. I completely respect their store-credit return policy, but I feel I was baited into returning the bodysuit, and now they only want to give me a third of what I was promised.

It is safe to say that unless I am reimbursed for the full amount, I will not be shopping here again. It is too risky, for though their clothes are cute and cheap, if something goes wrong, you really do lose a lot.

EDIT: I have added one star to my review. The second rep contacted me and agreed to issue me my promised store credit, but I can't say she was the most amicable or understanding. I am glad at least that the issue was resolved, but it was a stressful and tiring encounter, and now that I have redeemed my gift card and purchased something to replace the damaged bodysuit I had returned, I am certainly never shopping at FashionNova ever again.
