On 08/30/2014 I purchased a sofas' from JCPenny.com. Total price under $2,000. Couches were delivered with a heavy duty staple pocking out of the bottom of the sofa chair which injured my 10 month old son to a point where he was bleeding. Plus, the larger sofa has no back support. I can hear and feel the springs poking at my back. Additionally, when I sit on the couch, I can hear a crunch that sounds like you are ripping cardboard. Unbelievable! When I contacted JCPenny, they indicated in order to return the items they would need to send out a technician. Technician came out and indicated he needed to fixed the staple on the couch chair as it is a liability. He agreed the larger couch is below manufacturers standard w/ defects. However, JC penny indicated inspectors report stated the couches were to manufacturers standards. JCPenny is charging me a restocking fee and delivery to pick up the couches. JC penny delivered poor quality, but I have to pay the price. JCPenny does not stand by there product. The customer service is way below standard.
