I scheduled an appointment for winter maintenance on my newly built home. The technician arrived on time and was friendly and professional at first. He turned on the heat, and it turned on with no problems, however when he went into the attic to service the furnace, the heat turned off. He said that there was a problem with the furnace. I told him that the furnace is under warranty and not to do anything to it. He wanted to charge me for the maintenance package of $240.00 along with a diagnostic fee of $129.68. The proposal to fix the issue which is claimed to be a toggle switch would cost another $188.85. It turns out that there was nothing wrong with the furnace. It seems that the technician had turned off the switch for the burner. My brother just turned the switch back on and the heater is working fine. I did not pay for the maintenance, due to the fact that the technician said he couldn't perform maintenance on the nonfunctioning furnace. I ended up paying $129.68 for the diagnostic that really never needed to be done. I do not trust this company, and I will never call them for any type of service.

Before purchasing anything from Morningsave.com, I recommend that you look at other online sites for more reasonable prices. By the time shipping charges are applied to their products, most likely you will be paying more for the product on this website. It is difficult to cancel an item because there is no phone number or no on that you can speak with. I tried cancelling an order online within several hours after the purchase, and the response is that I should receive a response within 2 business days. Although this product has not shipped yet, I was unable to cancel the order. Most of the time the deals they have are reasonable, but not always.

Whenever we shop at Best Buy, customer service is always friendly and helpful, however; my brother called tech support to make an appointment to have his laptop upgraded to Windows10. The customer service representative told him that they will be able to do the upgrade because he purchased a full tech support warranty, so she scheduled an appointment for him. When he showed up with the laptop, the "technician" didn't seem to know what to do, and he told my brother that his laptop was too old, and it could not be updated. My brother is in his 60's and he is not computer savvy, however, he was able to install Windows10. It took him some time, but it is now installed and the laptop is working with no problems. By the way, 2 different people from the Geek Squad took a look at the laptop and didn't know what to do with it.

It seems that the tech support team, either doesn't want to do the job that they are being paid to do, or that they just don't know what to do.

My brother also received a message that his appointment was cancelled, which is not true, because he showed up for the appointment. They just couldn't install the upgrade.

These employees need proper training!

I purchased the full-size adjustable bed, and the 14" mattress with massage on Amazon from the retailer, Renanim, who thought of everything when designing this bed. First and foremost, it is so comfortable! I have had 3 back surgeries, and I have constant neck and back pain. Although my back problems still exist, I can say that I have had great sleeping nights! The remote lights up and there is also a LED light at the tip of the remote along with underneath bed lighting, with 2 USB ports on each side. There are several different heights that you can choose for the bed. I decided to use the lowest height because I have a cat, and this will prevent her from going under the bed and playing with the electrical cords. I have attached the different height photos for you to see. Also, the massage is wonderful, and can be set for 10 minutes or 20 minutes for relieving neck, back and foot pain. It was also a reasonable price.
Also, customer service was fantastic! As soon as I purchased this bed, I received an email from Renanim informing me that the bed will come in 2 deliveries. Anne and Mary answered every question promptly and was more than happy to help. I would definitely recommend buying this bed and mattress to anyone of my friends. A great buy on Amazon with a great retailer, Renanim, plus free shipping!

By the way, the headboard on this bed did not come with this purchase.

The sales agents, Justin, and Veronica were great; however, the quality of the home is poor. In 2003, I had purchased a brand-new home in Riverside, CA, and I didn't have to call for any repairs within the first 6 years, because the home was a solid well-made home. I have had so many issues with this Desert View Home within the 1st month, and just about every time a repair was started, it wasn't completed. I ended up finishing the jobs by spackling and painting the area that needed repairs. They did attach an electrical switch to the outside front patio outlet, so that I could turn the switch on from inside the house at no extra cost.

After having the furnace serviced, the technician saw some issues with the way the furnace was mounted and mentioned that the house was poorly insulated, and there were areas in the attic where the sun was shining through. T He went to the back patio and showed me how the roof of the patio was not sealed off. This is what was written in his report:

I don't know how a house should be built, and what the proper structure of a home should be, therefore I texted Gordon with these concerns, and he never responded. I have contacted several different home inspection companies, however these inspections do not include "code compliance" inspections. I will have to research further to find out if this house was built properly. BTY, we ended up sealing the areas that were not sealed properly on the back patio.

Also, last Friday, January 27th, I received a call from Andre, and he made an appointment so that I could sign some repair documents that were made to the house. (Never completed by Desert View.) As usual no one showed up. So typical!

Tip for consumers:
Although I did research information on Desert View Homes at the end of 2020 and the reviews were good at that time, I should have researched them again in 2022, because I feel that the quality of their homes has diminished since then.

Knowing that I really didn't need a real estate agent for a new build, I went ahead and hired Mesilla Valley Property due to the fact that in 2021 the broker had shown me a home via her phone because I lived in California at the time. I had to rent a property for one year in El Paso, TX, therefore I had to wait until I was ready to purchase a home. I did let the broker at Mesilla Valley know that I will call her after my one-year lease ended. I already knew I was going to buy a home with Desert View Homes; therefore, I gave all the information to the broker, so the broker didn't have to show me homes, or do very much for my purchase. All I asked is that she be my eyes and ears in Las Cruces because I was living in El Paso, TX. I only had a several months to purchase a home, or I would have had to rent for another year. I did find a home with the builder, and I was told that it would be ready in the amount of time that I needed. The broker was supposed to be my eyes and ears in Las Cruces. As it was getting closer to the date that I needed to move, I asked the real estate broker if she could take a drive to the new house and let to let me know what the progress of the new build was. She just told me that it was coming along, unfortunately, that was not the case. Shortly after she told me that the new build was coming along, the sales agent for the builder called me and informed me that the home was not going to be ready in time for me to move in. Luckily, he had another home that would definitely be ready for me to move in. I ended up purchasing the other home. The broker only came to the house a few times and showed up at the closing. She really didn't have to do very much and received a hefty commission. One would think she would be thankful, but I didn't even receive a "Thank you" for my business. I never heard from anyone at Mesila Valley again. I truly believe that this is poor business ethics. I have a friend that will be looking to purchase a home here in Las Cruces, and I will not recommend Mesilla Valley

I have known David for many years and I trusted his word. He knew that I was going to be having my home evaluated with Zillow for a cash offer. David told me that he can sell my house for much more than Zillow would offer. He pressured me into signing a contract, and never told me that I would not have the option of taking the cash offer, until I told him that I wanted to take the cash offer.
David listed my house as a 2 bedroom townhouse which was incorrect, along with other information that was not correct. It has been corrected, but the damage has been done. I also told him that I had an AC unit installed approximately 7 years ago, and he listed that the air conditioning/heating is 7 years old. I never upgraded the heating unit. Everything he told me from how accurate and fantastic the photographer was to not being a problem with him if I should decide to accept a cash offer, ( I even mentioned that I will pay him for his time if I were to take a cash offer, and he just said "let's see what happens") which he told me at my dining room table on June 27th. I do not trust him, and I don't believe a word he says. I am disappointed in him and myself for trusting him. Now I understand why he rushed the signing of the documents. If he had disclosed all the information regarding what would happen if I accepted a cash offer, which after I told him that I would accept the cash offer is when he told me that either Zillow, or I would have to pay his 2.5% fee, I would have never signed the documents if he had told me that from the beginning. I was 100% honest with him, unfortunately he was not. He claims he is working in my best interest; however it is his own agenda and greed that he is working for. I have text messages letting him know how unhappy that I have been with this process. I will now lose the new house because I am unable to accept the cash offer, and I am stuck for 3 months under his contract. This is not how companies should do business.
