Avoid this scam
May 27, 2021

Absolutely horrendous experience! Run away, this is a scam.

After nearly three months with zero results from their platform I asked to cancel the service before the next billing came out. The rep declined and said I had signed an agreement. When I signed up, it was under the false impression that their platform actually had value and created results.

The company did in fact bill me again, so I disputed the charge and explained to my credit card company what was going on. They issued a credit, and told me they would investigate further. The credit card company also asked Zurple to stop billing me but they just billed me again for SERVICES NOT RENDERED!

I'm absolutely disgusted with this company and my experience. I think it says a lot about their platform that they have to continue to tie people up in a contract who want to leave to keep their company afloat because their service doesn't produce real results. I see after reading more of their reviews that many people have had the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE. I plan to post this review to every review website I can find at this point to warn people not to make the same mistake I did by getting involved with this terrible company.

REALTORS BEWARE!
June 6, 2014

REALTORS BEWARE! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ZURPLE...

I was looking for a great auto-responder for my real estate company. Sadly, I tried Zurple. I thought it would be a great companion to my current CRM. I WAS SOOOO WRONG! My CRM shows 170 leads (which Zurple is supposed to import) but Zurple has 11... I could go on and on, but please DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID!. I tried to cancel 2 months ago - but NO... You cannot get out of your CONTRACT. I should have known as no other companies even make you sign a contract - big red flag.

DO NOT NOT NOT SIGN UP WITH ZURPLE! Just go throw your money in the street - it's faster and easier.

Beware! Terrible company!
September 2, 2017

Beware of this company! My colleague and I signed up together. It was $304 a month for each of us, so $608 total. We were given a new territory and promised 13 to 21 leads a month. We were also told we could cancel within the first 60 days. The first month was terrible. We received 3 leads total. Two of which had email address such as *******@duck.net and *******@gmail.com.
My colleague and I decided to cancel. I called and emailed a few days before the 30 day mark. We didn't want to be charged for the second month. Long story short, no one would return my calls or emails. Finally, some regional manager called. It was too late though we had been charged for the next month.
We had supposedly canceled out our agreement after speaking with the regional manager. Zurple tried to charge my card for a third month and a fourth month, but my bank blocked both. I'm still out 608 for 3 junk leads. I had to cancel my card, since they continued to attempt to charge.
I have requested a refund from Zurple. They claim they are still investigating our file. I'm really upset and hope that they will refund my money soon. I'm done waiting and I want them to know that I will continue to put reviews out, so that other realtor know to really do their research before throwing your hard earned money away for junk leads.
Beware! I don't think this company is very ethical and they have terrible customer service.

THE WORST!
April 25, 2022

Zurple makes promises they can't keep. I agreed to take on shares and was promised leads. None came through I called out to my Rep Bill Woods to ask what the problem was. I'm not getting any leads sent nor are they good with a contact address... none had phone numbers. I still sent them a CMA through the system and also my mail. But whay else could i do... Some of the leads had address that were invalid.
But I was getting two maybe three for a month... non participating leads for $799.00 a month... something must be very wrong here. So I reached out to my rep Bill Wood. For like three weeks no response, then finally I contact support let them know The issue I'm having with leads and that Bill told me I get leads with numbers. They then told me Bill was no longer with them. That I was in a signed contract with them and was not able to make any changes until after my 6th month but if I was so unhappy with ny service they would give me a credit after my 6 month agreement. (I'm sorry but if your choking on cow manure will you ask for it at a discount price?) What kind of customer service is that?
I was only on my 3rd month when I was told this crap.
They customer service is ridiculous once your signed they could care less about you or what was promisedto yoy by their reps. Really this is $799.00 a month for a platform that your MLS could provide for you. They RIP YOU OFF! I was completely discussed with their disregard from the what their reps told me to the fact they were not willing to work with me when I told them I would not pay for any "additional shares "leads" but just their platform. When an agent pays in to a lead gen system and puts $2400 in for 3 months and gets nothing... I mean absolutely NOTHING in return why the hell would I consider putting in an additional $2400 that now I don't have! RIP OFF!

I have been a real estate agent for 22 years. I found out about Zurple on the Internet and gave them a call. It took a rep a few WEEKS to call me back with some wimpy excuse that there are some changes at the company and he finally got around to call me back. That should have been a red flag for me not to sign up with them, but he gave me a very good presentation about the automated emails going to the potential home buyers and how many agents are making tons of commission using Zurple. A big Lie.
I signed up with them for 6 months.
Here are the problems with the service I received:
My rep who singed me up left the company a few days after I signed up. He promised helping me setup my account but never called me once the contract was signed.
A few days after I paid the initial setup fee they activate my site and started getting leads with email addresses only. No phone numbers and no verified email addresses. My rep failed to tell me that they do not provide phone numbers. Who reads emails anymore?
The automated emails were a joke since I didn't know what they are sending to the potential buyers and made me look bad when I emailed them and asked them the same questions they already answered automatically. I was very frustrated for paying every month and no sales to recover Zurple payments.
I contacted Zurple and they told me the system is working the way it should be.
I was not able to get any buyers to commit and meet me for a showing since they mostly browsing the IDX on my website. After 3 months payments plus the initial setup fee, I decided to stop the service but Zurple staff were very forceful and they weren't going to agree with cancelling my contract. I am out of nearly $2000 and absolutely no sales.
They turn my contract to a collection agency which calls me all the time.
Zurple has gone through many employees and top executives and they are not friendly to the real estate agents. Do Not fall for their pitch and stay away from Zurple. Find another way of advertising for your business. Do not sign any long term contracts with any one of these online companies that pop up everyday and offer solutions to help your business. That way you don't have to deal with an annoying collection agency either.

I've been with Zurple for about a month, so maybe they'll improve over the course of the contract. But right now, I'm very, very unimpressed. For a $900/month service, they're really quite useless. I've received 2 genuine leads over the course of August, which is terrible. I could've done a better job myself. It's no wonder why they lock agents into a contract. They wouldn't stay in business, otherwise. Too many agents would cancel after a month of non-results (who wouldn't?). The contract was a red flag to me at the time, but I thought, "oh, some agents are having decent success with this. Maybe I'll try it out for 6 months". Big mistake. Should've listened to my gut rather than the guy on the phone.

Plus, they tried to pressure me into choosing a 12-month service. Luckily, despite how slick and "friendly" the guy on the phone was (Pedro, I think is his name), I only signed up for 6 months. Thank goodness for small favors. These sales rep types have no interest in your success. They just want to get a commission, I'm afraid. Too bad I discovered that too late.

Because of this experience, I've chosen to write off every internet advertising/marketing agency out there, especially ones promising 20 leads a month to realtors. Maybe there are good ones out there, but I've convinced myself that they're all crap and just want thousands of dollars for little to no work, only lies that they'll help you grow your business.

It's also my fault, too. I didn't want to take the time to do digital marketing myself, and I screwed up. I take full responsibility for this. Good news is that I didn't sign up for the full, 12-month package.

Summary: AGENTS, STAY AWAY FROM ZURPLE AND EVRY OTHER LEAD GENERATION COMPANY! THEY'RE PARASITES PROMISING EASY MONEY!

Market your own business, and get your own leads. Nurture your own leads through consistent follow up.

If I could l, I'd give Zurple 0 stars, but 1/5 is the lowest, unfortunately.

UPDATE: I've received a complaint from a homebuyer about receiving canned email responses from my website. It's only one complaint, but still. Besides being overpriced, Zurple will hurt your customer service efforts, too.

If you still wish to sign up with them, all I can say is... you've been warned.
