Everytjing I have ordered from Zulily, I love! However, by the time I get it, I have practically forgotten what I have ordered. It takes FOREVER! But doesn't take forever for them to charge my card. If you need something, you're better to find it elsewhere.
I went to the Zulily site to check it out and was interested in a couple of things. The total price of the pieces I wanted to buy was $46. When I went to check out, the charge was $96. $50 in shipping... more than the price of the articles? I realize the products do not come from the U.S., but I have bought clothes from another discount, overseas site and the shipping charges were quite normal, around $5-$8.
I've been buying from Zulily since last year - even my family uses my account to order things.

I don't mind where the clothes or products come from because the prices our family pays are fenomenal. I always check other retailers before buying from them and some times certain items are cheaper with other people... in other words - I know what I'm buying and that the prices I'm paying and the producs are exacltly what I asked for.
I've bought clothes and shoes - all that fit me accordingly to each size chart (some shoes come from other countries and their sizing is diferent). I have no complaints - all the tops I've bought that are sheer the info on them explained it to be (great for layering over a nice camisole). Also all the home "thingys" I bought (bedspreads - a few were gifts, kitchen gadgets, etc) Camé very very we'll packed and were exacltly the size and shape ordered.
I always buy in advance for birthdays and eveb X-mas só I'm not pressed for time. Other retailers take about the same time (up to 3 or 4 weeks) to deliver their products - so Zulily does not surprise me for taking time to send our family nice stuff nicely packaged.

I've ordered a number of items from Zulily. I ALWAYS read the size chart posted and I almost always have to order a size up according to the measurements. If I fall between two sizes, I ALWAYS order the larger one. Even so, the clothing almost always doesn't fit or is way too tight. I'm done buying clothes from them unless I know the brand from other stores.
I've had better luck with non-clothing items.
And, yes, shipping takes forever, but that's kind of their deal and they explain all of that very clearly on the website. The return policy stinks, especially because the clothing they send does not adhere to the size chart measurements given. However, I did have one positive interaction of cancelling an item before it shipped, so there is that.
Never order from Zulilly. You might think you are getting a great deal but I assure you, what you get will be NOTHING like the photo or the "original price" listed.

I received a sweater valued at (according to Zulilly) $89.99 --- the tag was cut off on the sweater when I received it, but when I threw out the packaging, out fell the part of the tag that was cut off and it said Forever 21! I matched the tags and sure enough, the sweater I received was from Forever 21.
This seems like enough reason to report Zulilly to the BBB. I just can't believe companies like this stay in business.

I appreciate the fact the Zulily brings such great deals but the fact that you can't return items if they don't fit (which is going to happen with online shopping) and the fact that it take 3 weeks or more to get your items is crazy! By the time it comes I don't really need it. Wish they could do better. Not really using them too much unless I don't need something for 2 months out.
Ordered June 26,2015. Received on July 10,2015. The purse was beautiful, and the quality of the item met my Expections.
For those of you who do not know how Zulily works here it is. They have events that run for a certain amount of time. They place one large order for all items ordered during that event. They receive discounted pricing based on their order which they pass along to their customers.
SO if you order at the beginning of an event you will wait longer than if you ordered at the end of the event. Sometimes an event will run for several weeks. The even ends, they place their order with the vendor and one large order comes which they then package and send to their customers.
This is in their policies and they did send me confirming email explaining all of this when I placed my orders.
Yes, it works differently. They do not hide any of this and when I called about an estimated ship date their customer service was very friendly and helpful.
Be aware you may wait weeks for your orders. It is a part of their policies and why they can offer such great pricing.

I don't think i was already a member, but if I was most Internet sites will have a message "Forgot Password?" Not this site.So Zulily I will buy my baby things at a user friendly site. Iv'e read the reviews and needless to say there are many not so good ones. What I have ordered from Zulily has been ok but it's just ridiculous that we have to wait so long for the items. There are lots of retail sites out there and MOST of them state right on the page when the item will ship and when it will be available if sold out. The next couple of purchases for example I was having a 4th of July party so on June 18 I ordered an inflatable pool for the toddlers. I figured PLENTY of time to get it here by the 4th. As I checked along the way I never got any information regarding where my shipment was or when I would be receiving it. FInally I contacted Z on June 30 asking where my item was and they showed that the item was on it's way to Zulily REALLY! Don't you have your items available at your wearhouse?
I now have an order for three items and I just looked up my order # to find that it's again on it's way to Zulily and won't even be confirmed that it is coming to me until July 20. You guys gotta figure out a better way. The shipping is horrendous. If people cannot receive their items in a reasonable amount of time they will go elsewhere and people WILL figure this out the first time they order then they won't be back. I know your not as big as amazon but most people would rather pay a dollar or two more (free shipping with Prime) to get it within a reasonable amount of time. SOrry but your shipping SUCKS!
The first time I ordered from Zulily it took nearly 3 weeks for 2 items to get to me. When I got them 1 item was not the right size and the other was kind of tight to where I had to wear it with linen pants I've already purchased. But I decided to give it another chance. As of right now I placed an order in the beginning of June and here we are in the beginning of July and still my entire package has not gotten to me. But the one item that did come, although it was advertised as a 6x for my daughter it looks like something out of the toddler's section. The shipping, although they say things ship out after the sales are over, will take a very very very long time to get to you and when you call a customer service they say well it depends on how fast the vendors get it to us. I will never ever in my life order anything else from Zulily again! I tried twice and I am paying now for trying to give them another chance. Horrible!

I have made 3 separate purchases from Zulily. I am OK with the items purchased... not especially impressed but not necessarily disappointed, either. I am, however, disappointed with the shipping. One purchased took nearly 2 months to arrive! You are able to track your orders, online. I noticed that none of my items even began the shipping process for nearly 2 weeks.
I received my first ever Zulily purchase in the mail yesterday and couldn't believe how "junkie" the quality of the dress was. It is practically see-through! I won't ever buy at zulily, they advertise plus size but they'll send you the package saying it's the size you ordered with the wrong size clothing item. The scam is that they know they are sending the wrong order knowing we can't do exchanges.
To all of those who gave 1-Star reviews: did you actually read the details of how the process works? They tell you just what to expect. If you want something right away, you have to shop from thr "Ready-to-Ship" section. They merely post items from other sites for a short time at incredibly low prices. I purchased several items from them, including quite a few toddler and baby items- I could never have afforded the regular prices. The quality was generally excellent, which demonstrated to me the difference in quality between cheap clothes and high-quality clothes. I know I cannot return anything, and they tell you why. So I am willing to play this game by their rules in order to have items I would not otherwise know about or afford; in exchange for that, I know I am gambling on what I buy.The low prices make the gamble worthwhile.
Be sure to check out their return policy (which is virtually nonexistent) before you order. They also send the wrong size on an order which is non-returnable.
I ordered a pair of American flag cowgirl boots about a month ago, and just barely got them today! I wanted them for the 4th, but CLEARLY didn't have them! ALSO, the boots look different than the picture! They looked like a rounded toe, and they're completely pointed! I didn't want that, I have a size 8 and don't need them to look any longer so I wanted a rounded toe so I thought these boots were perfect! But NOPE not at all I hate them. They advertised "calf-high" nope, barely above the ankle. They advertised "1-2 days shipping" Hell no, I got them over a month later! And they're telling me they're ineligible for return! Now I understand! Because they aren't like the advertisement, or pictures! Never buy from this site!

I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it.
