Like receiving poorly shipped items that arrive broke n? Love spending hours trying to return items and actually getting to talk with someone in customer service? Then this company is for you! If you are busy like me, you don't have time to mess with stupidity like this. The item I received (unknowningly purchased from Zoro via the Walmart website) was damaged in shipping. While this does happen, it has been a headache to get this item replaced. Phone calls are left on hold and emails take forever to be returned. While damaged items are understandable, poor customer service is not. I would NOT recommend buying anything from this company.
Zoro is fine until you need help from customer service - then they are terrible. They send you a case number and never respond. You can call all you want, but they don't have any answers.
Bought 12 Vestil Pallet Rack Dollies - all 12 shipped with no casters after being on backorder for 6 weeks. It has been 11 days and Zoro has not responded to my request to send the casters.
Ordered a trailer hitch for decent price, then realized I hadn't researched the company. I called to cancel and immediately spoke to a knowledgeable person who said I could have a refund but I decided to see what would happen and I received it even more quickly than the rep thought it would be. Shipped directly from Curt in Wisconsin so maybe that made a difference? Wanted to add my 2 cents because it was a great experience with my order.
Before ordering from Zoro, I read the reviews which were generally negative. The main issue seemed to be damaged goods. Since I was just ordering latex gloves and they had them at a competitive price, I went ahead and placed an order. It took them just 1 day to fill the order and 2 days to ship. The box it came in was packaged well and had no damage. I am satisfied with the order and can only think of 1 issue that was not worth subtracting a star. When clicking the submit order button, the site was a little flakey and didn't go thru the first time. The second time it worked.
I ordered a backflow valve on line with there 20% coupon. All went well and order was accepted. I used my PayPal account to pay. Two hours later I received an email with an updated invoice alnong with an updated email from Paypal with a price change. Upon calling Zoro they told me they could not honor the 20%. No phone call or any communication of any kind, just a "here you go, up your butt" price change! Never again.
Purchased very expensive butcher block countertop. Was delivered cracked through and through, essentially I have to pieces of butcher block now. I have called three times asking for refund. Each time I am told someone will reach out to me. No one has. I get the same line "we will escalate this" Worst Customer service imaginable. Order #SO*******
Bought overshoes on several tries... wrong ones every time! Supposed to be the yellow bottom/ black top kind.(see picture) Customer service swore they were the right ones and still got sent the wrong ones again and again. Customer service wait time pretty extreme... over 15-30 minutes on average.
If I can give zero star, I would. I placed an order for an exit light fixture on 3/3/21. I waited and waited, no update until 3/9/21. I called and was told it's coming from their vendor and can't do much about it. I asked for my order to be reviewed and followed with their vendor. The customer service I spoke with was nice enough to promise that I will hear from her no matter what on that same day. Nothing. It is now 3/11/21 end of business day today and still nothing. What a terrible service Zoro provides. I don't write reviews a lot but the service is just plain and utterly poor. I purchased a couple of times in the past and my experiences from those were mediocre but I thought I'll try one more time. I didn't pay much attention about the bad reviews that consumers posted about Zoro. Was I so wrong. I wasted so much time coupled with frustrations so never again that I will consider Zoro in the future.
Ordered a few things, on the delivery date they cancelled my order, no explanation. Said they didn't charge my card an they clearly did.
Call them they can't even find my order number. Pathetic service!
Zoro might be fine but based on my experience and other reviews they are not timely. I placed an order last month and finally contacted Zoro because the item has not arrived. Zoro says the item has not even arrived at their facility and so obviously, they have not shipped it to me. They said maybe another 10 days.
I ordered my product on 5//17 and it is 9 days later. There is no communication on there end. Been on hold 3 times for over a hour each time. No shipping conformation but they took my money out of my bank. I will be requesting a full refund.
I hesitated to order from them when I saw so many harsh reviews. Glad I went forward with it! Received my order today, 25 hours after placing it and a day earlier than promised, and everything was as I requested.
Ordered 2 cases of Med Pass nutritional shakes on a Sunday evening. Received email that evening that order was processing. Received 2 emails on Tues - one was item shipped and tracking info and other was receipt of payment. Shipment arrived that afternoon in perfect condition.At least in my transaction, had no issues. Totally satisfied.
I put an order on May 7. I haven't received it yet. I have inquired about it 3 times as of today, June 25. Two weeks ago I received an apology but no further information.
At this point, I really don't expect my order to arrive.
I ordered two steel stairs in February. They have delayed and replaced the order twice. Now they postponed the delivery to August. I called the customer service numerous times, Kim, Shannon, Jay, Liz, Erric, Ryan, and Lee (supervisor), each one of them said they would contact the manufacturer and update me the order. Non of these people ever did.

Horrible service all the way around: Ordered a part I needed. They sent me a box with hardware missing. Then they wouldn't send me a replacement until they were sure I sent this junk back. I sent it back, days past, I received no confirmation of replacement, so I called. They added some steps to returns that the first person didn't mention. We got it settled. The replacement arrived a day after it should have been delivered in a thrashed box and again, the hardware was missing. Three weeks in and I am still waiting to put my daughters closet doors together; with the right equipment I could do in one day. This company has absolutely no control quality and they don't care. They just send returns they get without checking to make sure the items are there. So disappointing: Never again. Don't order from Zoro.
Once again placed an order for items that were in stock - and once again order canceled several days later with NO reasons given. The price was competitive and with a coupon they sent me I placed the order with the assurance that they would be shipped right out. Fool me once shame on you - Fool me twice shame on you - only an idiot or fool would try it again. Don't Waste Your Time!
Ordered an item. Two weeks later no shipping update, so I sent an email to customer support. Turns out the item was discontinued.
If I hadn't reached out... not sure the order status would have ever changed.
Two stars because at least customer service responded within 24 hours.
Ordered a discounted specialty part. Waited a month while this company sat on my $200+. After waiting patiently for a month, I had to proactively ask why my item hadn't shipped by their promised end date of their delivery date. They told me the day after that my product is no longer offered by the manufacturer. In other words, they proactively advertised a product they didn't have any assurances they had on hand or could even receive. Awful company.
I ordered two keys from Zoro and just received one plus an empty envelope. I emailed them immediately and they replied saying they would get back to me in two days, a week later with no response I called them and was on hold for over twenty minutes. I think that this is a Millinial corporation that has no respect for customer service. I will never order from them again.
