I was very much enjoying Zoosk and encouraging others to join because of their photo security. And the safe way I've felt comfortable chatting with gentlemen. Then out of the blue I got a solid blue screen that read a Zoosk administrator cancelled my subscription. No explanation. No chance to discover why this happened. So now I'm disappointed in this site. In that I'm thinking that someone must have said something negative. But there should have been an investigation and I should have been given some sort of information.
I would like to get back on this site. I had been chatting with a few lonely men states away as friends.
But I don't like the way I was treated recently!
Meet a very wonderful man, I can start over with. That is why I came to a site like this one. At first it felt like a bar/pick up place get a piece of $#*! and never talk to them again. Yes this happened, but I learned very quick to be to read every work they typed.
I am thankful to this site, because I found Chris here. Happiness is on the way when he comes home from Iraq.
Do not waste your money on this site... If you are looking for overweight out of shape smokers then yes this is the site for you otherwise save your money. That is the quality of men on this site. The other thing that bothers me is even after you block them they still can view your profile so Zoosk could care less. I also recommend deleting all your photos before cancelling other wise Zoosk will continue to use your photos and profile to lure other suckers in. Before you judge... take a look at my photo... I am a very attractive woman... far too attractive for the losers on Zoosk. I did not see one attractive in shape man that had a decent job... yeah so I would say you would have better luck throwing a rock into the street and finding a man then using this site. Anyway good luck
The guy I met was a deviant rapist. Nice at first but manipulative, culminating in a rape he seemed proud of. I kept telling Zoosk to stop taking money each month via PayPal. I want them to refund my $239 but now they are ignoring me. Shut them down. I had to move to another state so the guy could not find me. No more online dating for me.
I was ready to give up... but "he" was there and our timing was just right. Come to find out, hour paths crossed SO many times in our lives, but we just missed each other by a moment. I'm so grateful! I would like all of our past conversation history though, but the history stops on July 5th. Please help me get this... it's important to me. Thank you!
Women on Zoosk are totally unrealistic of their expectations and what they hope to find. Nobody has anything to say. They waste more time viewing than chatting. Most everyone nearby within 10 is never online. The long distance is insane. Most do not want to go 5 miles out of their way let alone 100. The coin crap is a waste forcing one to leaf through 35 people who are repeats whether you are interested or not. Bottom line its a waste of time and money. Having read about other reviews of the site it scares me to think once you bail out of site to end subscription they will continue to bill people after they left. I have 30 days left and overall I never met such miserable women in all my days. What is the point on sitting on the fence hoping the right one will fall on one's lap but not willing to come halfway to find out?
This is a horrible site. It doesn't filter out options that are not within your range of preference, it doesn't allow you to even see the person's full profile unless you subscribe or purchase coins--oh, and by the way, the coins do not allow you to message a person: you would still need to purchase a subscription. Did I mention that you have to pay for an activation fee IN ADDITION to the subscription as well? I was going to pay for a month of service until I got to the check-out and saw the activation fee. What crock.
Also, you cannot even accurately describe your physical features. There is no option for overweight/large-sized people, so good luck with finding someone who doesn't think that you are deluding yourself into thinking that fat is "curvy".
Zoosk was alright - it gave exposure to another pool of people. Turns out I "RE-met" someone I already knew. My filter requests never saved, so any time I went on the site, I had to reset them. Otherwise, Zoosk kept trying to connect me with men who were not what I was looking for.
Zoosk is trying to invade sites like plenty of fish and ok cupid to get you to join them but they truly do you no service at all for what they charge. I know of no other dating site that will want you to be interested in talking to someone living in another state unless you are that fake person hoping to gain money from the other person.
When I've contacted them about it, there was no change.
Zoosk sucks badly
I was a skeptic right out of the gate. And each time met someone from an online dating site I was disappointed. But honestly, subscribing to Zoosk saved me countless hours of aimlessly wandering from "hotspot" to "hotspot" in the hopes of meeting someone. I have tried other sites and from my perspective their really isn't a whole of difference. You either have the patience and determination or you don't. Maybe it changes over time. Either way, find something you are comfortable with and stay at it. As for Zoosk, it was fine as online dating scenes go. I don't really care for the automatic payment for Zoosk coins but that is just a preference. Best of luck to you!
Very useless site with terrible search engine, Connections on Carousel are mostly bots and fake profiles used to keep you hooked. Charges are always higher than you expected. Zoosk is really overpriced, if you take into account price-quality ratio (with zero quality!) It's full of fake profiles, stolen photos and identities. Their appalling customer service never ban them. I don't need to waste my money and time on Zoosk anymore and I don't recommend it to anyone. However if you decide to use it, protect yourself, use your common sense and your gut feeling a lot, since Zoosk isn't going to protect you from fakes and scammers.
Anyway, I've had enough of it and left it.
When I first joined, I had nothing but men asking for sexual favors. As I was online getting ready to cancel, an actual gentleman contacted me and we have hit it off. I don't know what will come of this but he is worth me trying and I am willing to give him 100% of my attention.
There are a lot of negative reviews about this site, but I have a positive one.
Thanks to Zoosk, I met an amazing man. He's a real gentleman. I went in 10 dates on approximately 2 1/2 months. I was very frustrated and tired of the interviews but, finally I found my dream man.
My best advise? Be cautious! And not give up!
Like anything else in this world, nothing is guaranteed but I was patient and in a (Really) short period of time (weeks) I found a wonderful lady that lives close by that shares the same interests. So don't despair, if you're sending out messages and nothing good is coming back. It takes time. It's worth it.

Still reviewing and just giving it a chance. I think it's more important to focus on someone who's giving me a chance then be bothered by others that keep popping up.
It would be a lot nicer if the search that I personally build stayed Within the radius of my search. And it would also be nice when these random so-called "my perfect matches", to be found within 10 miles instead of forty sixty eighty miles away. Not realistic in my life. Don't give up out there
A lot of issues with Zoosk. The first is that they don't adhere to the distance between matches. I can't tell you how many times I like somebody from the carousel which you can't tell anything about you don't know the height you don't know the distance you don't know their body type or anything then only to find out they're 50 million miles away. Also if we're going through the Carousel and Zoosk sees what kind of people we're interested in why do I keep getting a mailbox full of old men? Yuck! It just didn't really work out that well except for the guy that I meant. Going to see where it goes with him. I'm done!
Overall it was effective, I found several dates and ended up happy. Some of the features are great, some of them annoying. I don't like what I call double dipping. Zoosk please either be a subscription service or an in-app purchase service, quit trying to do both, it's cumbersome and expensive when you start buying coins on top of the subscription fees. You should be able to choose when you are incognito or not without paying a fee is a good example of an irritating double charge.
I just subscribe recently for a month on this site. I used it for about a day and was already having trouble viewing my messages. It wanted me to pay extra just to view it or to see someone who might be interested in me. I e-mailed customer service of my problem and they deleted me from my subscription! Tried to contact them again and again either by phone (number don't work) or the person emailing me back is a robot. Never refunded my money... REally pissed about it still. WORST DATING SITE.
The app was a little difficult to navigate in the beginning, there was no instructions. Once I got the hang of it, though I was getting about five guys a week that I was interested in chatting with. I really liked the filter so you could see some good information before going out. Most guys, we chatted on the app and then exchanged phone numbers talked on the phone, and then met at a restaurant. Everybody I talk to that was a match for me was super nice, and I was surprised to find so many single men in my area. I ended up falling in love with someone who lives 2 1/2 hours away, but we are making it work And I am so in love.
Online dating is tough as you just dont know a person by reading about them or looking at a picture. I was lucky and found my true love fairly fast. We met in person shortly after meeting online and clicked almost immediately. We both felt that connection that is indescribable.
Answer: These view are fake. Zoosk is lousy site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. I left to http://J4Love.net The result of my search there is incredibly awesome: I finally spent Christmas with my woman! I had wasted 11 months on Zoosk and then it took me just one month here to meet my perfect woman. Don't let Zoosk con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious! The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated.
Answer: The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.
Answer: ZOOSK, is a total RIPOFF
Answer: NO MA'AM IT IS NOT. In fact I only used the coins when I could get them for free. Under the system that's no longer possible. Nobody takes that sort of thing seriously, and for a woman it's even less relevant.
Answer: In the two months I have been on Zoosk. I have chatted with a number of woman, exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone and I am just an average looking joe. I have also had times when I received a chat request and the person does not respond. You do have to pay to chat and the other person has to be a paid member. OK if your reading this there is one thing I found, if you search, only pay attention to the ones that say "recently online", the other ones may be fake or no longer active. It's a numbers game I have had many that did not respond to my messages also.
Answer: I believe it is. But how safe is the internet these days. Just don't be quick to give too much information too soon you will know when its right to share. Good luck
Answer: Not at all don't bother buying them just play some games u will get some
Answer: Chances are you're sending a message to someone that was a member long ago and isn't registered any longer. Zoosk is a total scam.
Answer: Unfortunatly not. You have to be a member. I suggest you don't try this site. It won't help you to find wat you're looking for. Cheers. R.
Answer: I can't believe you expect that! The whole idea is anonymity until people are comfortable with exchanging personal info.
