Beware made an appointment on this website to see a doctor. First time patient filled out all the online paperwork. The appointment was never made. The employee at the doctors office said that the site only suggest an appointment. I took today off work I never got to see the Doctor
They booked me with a physician's assistant at the clinic when I specifically booked a particular doctor from Clarity Clinic. The clinic didn't say anything and just proceeded with the appointment as well.
Low integrity. Avoid!.

Although we do allow our physicians to book patients under their assistants, we always want to make sure our patients are fully aware of that at the time of booking, which is why we have that pop up message. So much easier and more convenient than leaving voicemails to assistants and waiting to get a call back, whether for an initial appointment or to reschedule something. Well done xocdoc, such an essential tool; we needed you badly. And thanks to the doctors who are using the system.
Generally works fine and is convenient. However I made one reservation that was never confirmed by the doctor office and never had a feedback from them. Another reservation was cancelled twice by the doctor's office. But I like the service offered by ZocDoc

Useless site they let the doctor publish dates and times that are not available. They confirm with the hope that you agree to reschedule at their convenience. Brought this to the attention of ZocDoc management and of course they did nothing. They went to the extreme of suggesting I call the Drs. Office for an appointment. If I call the Drs office why I need ZocDoc for?
Providers please please proceed with caution especially new and growing practices who may live near state lines as they will charge for out of state patients referrals even when your practice is not able or licensed to service or perscribe to out of state patients.

I've been using zocdoc for years and I just love it! It's very reliable and easy to navigate. Not to mention zocdoc gave me a gift card for Amazon because my appointment was canceled because of insurance reasons. It wasn't a big deal, but they wanted to make up for it. Now THATS customer service. Thank you!
ZocDoc is a pretty good website. I like the idea that you can input all of your information in before you arrive for your first appointment. I am also pleased with ZocDoc following up on any discrepancies that occur before, durnig, and after your appointment.
I've been using ZocDoc for all my appointments since I discovered it. It's very helpful with the reviews on choosing the right practioner. It's also so easy to use! All you do is type in your info and insurance if you have any. Once you do that it'll find Doctors accordingly who accept your insurance and nearby your location. I would recommend this app to anyone. I find its reviews and effienct ways trustworthy.
I was told to redo the questionnaire because they did not have it despite my doing it online. The receptionist asked as she could care less about this inconvenience and was unwilling to try to find my info. She insisted I redo it. I refused. I also wanted the Doc to review my previous scans and to make his own assessment. I was told the facility did not have the equipment to copy my scans which I brought in for review and did not have the equipment to analyze my scans so I left highly dissatisfied and I wasted a trip to Phoenix which was about 200 miles round trip

First of all, the appointment was set for 30 ahead of what I put in. Then, once that was "fixed," the information did not make it to the doctor's office. When we went in for the appointment, they were not expecting me. They had not heard of the appointment request.

Dr. Hofmann is simply an amazing Dr. I had her before she left Mary's Center and searched to find her again. She is so caring and compassionate. I simply love my experiences with her. If I could rate higher I would! She's my PCP! And I recommend her to everyone!
I was able to find a good dermatologist through this website that also accepted my insurance. Also, on a day that I was in a pinch and needed to see a doctor ASAP, I found a doctor accepting same-day appointments using ZocDoc. I love this service. Will continue to use.
I used this service to book an urgently needed doctor appointment. I spent 30 minutes filling out paper work so that it would not have to be done when I arrived at the doctor's office. The Doctor was Tom Macek in Fort Lauderdale. When I came to the appointment, they were caught totally by surprise, and had someone else in that appointment time slot. They said if I would wait they would try to squeeze me in. That sort of eliminates the purpose of an appointment. ZocDoc was worthless, the fellow in the doctor office who came out was rude. The time I spent filling out the form was a waste, as was my lost morning. Terrible experience!
I negatively reviewed a doctor who deserved every word I said and more. He personally called me no less than 10 times and literally BEGGED me to have ZocDoc remove my review. Not until he had made as many amends as he could to improve a bad situation did I agree to call. And only then did I find out that a review cannot be amended, as it can with Yelp, if the doctor does what this particular one did (at least tries to make improvements). It can only be deleted. What good does THAT do? The error was still horrendous and definitely was made by the doctor, and it's just as important for someone who wants to know about this guy and his practice to know that if he does something wrong he at least tries to make it right. That is a full, honest, authentic "review". I'll never use this service again - I'm a Yelper for life. RIDICULOUS.

I found a new Primary doctor and Dentist for both myself and husband. At the same time I booked appointments and we are highly pleased with both facilities that are highly professional with modern up-to-date facilities and very friendly doctors and staff.
I love being able to find doctors and specialist or whatever i need and being able to set up apts. With my primary care doctor on here you guys are the best thanks so much! And the best of all no phone calls no wasting time thanks ZocDoc!
I tried to schedule an appointment with my PCP on ZocDoc and I have seen her before. I saw that she had available appointments but as soon as I clicked the box that I was an existing patient... I don't know why... but all of a sudden she had no existing appointments at all!

I was very excited when I found ZocDoc. The ability to find doctors covered by my insurance, read reviews from other patients, and book an appointment while comparing my calendar sounded amazing. Unfortunately, every appointment was canceled before I arrived completely defeating the purpose of utilizing the system. I thought it was a scam... something so time consuming and annoying filling out all that paper work in a waiting room full of sick people. Them making copy's of everything. My day is over by the time i leave.

Answer: Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."
