I love getting their photo books throughout the year since they always have great sales, which makes it much more affordable than their original price tag. I like the matte finish to their photo books since it makes them look very expensive although I did not pay much for it. I have yet to try out the other finishes but so far, I am very satisfied by their matte finish.
I started buying their little black books since four years ago. I buy at least twice from them a year, and was with them through every price increase. Although the price has gone up quite a bit, I still think that their price is very much worth it since it's still relatively affordable. I like their hard covers because it feels thick and substantial, and I like the matte effect. Their silver-halide effect, according to my photography friends, is the BEST in the industry. I am very satisfied with them, although they have increased their prices.
I have ordered several books from ZNO, and all of them have since come apart due to bad glue/adhesive used in the album construction. I reached out to ZNO to explain the problem and they promptly sent me replacement albums. Unfortunately, these have come apart too. If they fixed their problem with the glue they used, I would be happy with the product, but unfortunately it is a disaster and complete waste in the current state.
I've placed many orders from ZNO. I've never had a problem-Good prices and Decent quality... until now. Customer service is absolute garbage. I had a problem where an order was sent to the wrong address (an address from THREE years ago) I have had orders sent since that address. It was delivered and accepted by whoever lives there now. Customer service responds by saying it's not their problem and that it was my fault the address was what it was. Are your serious?!
If you want a cheap product it's a great cheap product. If something goes wrong with your order than you pay for even cheaper service. Good luck getting your money back.

When I ordered my lay flat photo books, I was quite worried because of the mixed reviews. But when I received the package, I was delighted. The quality was great, far better than what I got from costco and it was also a lot cheaper. I would definitely recommend their site to my friends and family.
I have been a client of this company for over two years and have been very happy with the album quality. The customer service is slow, and only online, plus it takes two weeks to get your album, but with the prices so low it was worth it.
Now, however I have been round and round on an order for over two months and they are trying to blame my digital files (even though part of the order was printed correctly from the same files) and refuse to expedite reprinting the order. What do I tell my client? I am going to send the order to Millers and redesign the album and just lose the money. Its better than losing my reputation. Also, I had bought credit for future orders and they refuse to refund my money on that. Ridiculous! STAY AWAY- trust me, you will thank me later!

Quality it used to be really good. Now my last book came apart as soon as i opened! It got really expense and less and less quality.

Having ordered from several other similar companies, I decided to give the little black book a try. For the $5 price, I got what I paid for! It was supposed to be a gift, but only 5 of the 24 pictures were not blurry... will NOT be giving that gift. Nor will I be ordering from there again.
First time I ordered a little black book. It was great, but in couple months the cover page divided into 2 pages, the glue it was connected with is terrible. The second time I ordered the photo cards. I received 7 mine and 3 somebody's child, not my cards! It took over a month to get my real order.
The third time, my husband ordered 4 photo cards ( total cost of the order is less than $10!), but by mistake put our old address for shipping. The customer service does not want just to resend the order to my correct address. They are investigating with usps where is it! Really? Other people might have already thrown it to the garbage. But this company is so cheap that would not save a customer for $9. I am so upset. They say it would take 2 weeks to investigate and if its not there, they would not be able to recover my order. What kind of company is that!?
I ordered a book for friend in New Jersey. I admit I was a little nervous because I wouldn't see it before she received it. But... there was no need to worry! The app is easy. The little book was perfect, cost me shipping and handling only and it came before the cut off arrival date and my friend loves her birthday gift! I just order a canvas for a customer and They cut and cropped the picture wrong. So far I called to the phone support and the customer service is really bad She was arguing with me. Now i sent the email support... So far It is bad product, bad customer service, bad company.
I found zno on a reference from a friend, she was over the moon about her wedding album. I held her album in my hands and it was wonderful, no color issues and the layout exactly how she wanted. She paid for the Pro Plan, but I didn't want to spend that extra money. So even though the reviews were not positive because I held a product in my hand, I took the chance on zno. I got the Layflat album and it is so perfect. I loved being able to control everything about it. I could choose exactly how many photos on the page I wanted, and if I wanted photos bigger or smaller, or black and white, I could adjust as needed. It was great to have complete control of the entire album. I am so happy with it! Also, shipping was pretty quick, I think about a week which was not bad at all. I would be wary since there are other bad reviews, but I can only review my order and it turned out perfect!
Really nice high quality photo book. I was impressed. Yes, the hardcover 8x8 book is free but you do pay for shipping and the amount depends on your location and when you want it. I paid about $5 for a beautiful book. 24 page layflat hardcover books don't ever cost $5.
As everyone says, they have zero customer support. I paid for two duplicate albums. They only sent one. It is impossible to get them to rectify the situation. AVOID, AVOID AVOID.

I used their $5 little black book deal to create a custom family photo album that is MUCH more durable than the average photo album. It arrived in about a week and it was in beautiful condition. It has board book type pages, so we can even let our toddler look through it, and he loves pointing out pictures of himself and looking at the book with us! The one issue I had was that the photos were a bit blurrier than I expected, but that very may well have been due to the fact that they were uploaded from an iPhone. Either way, it's a great, inexpensive gift option for the ones you love, even at full price! They are always having sales as well so even after the trial, I still paid less than full price by using their discount codes which they email to their users.
I have used this company many times, even when they used to be called Artisan State, Never had a problem until I needed service. Client received the album damaged, looks like it was damaged in transit. Have emailed several times with each email sounding more and more desperate. No response at all - none! This company is a joke and costing me my reputation - DO NOT USE THEM!
They have the best flush mount albums! I love how many options they have open for the user to choose: such as their covers, templates, colours, layout... The quality is very good and I use their website for my clients' wedding albums.
I purchase a lot of photo books each year from ZNO. The quality is great and they are usually shipped within a week. I have experienced slower ship times just before Christmas so I now order early to avoid the Christmas rush.
I did have one layflat book that was two years old that I noticed the glue was letting go and the pages were falling out of the spine. I emailed customer service and they responded the next day. The offered to reprint the book and send it no charge. I received the book within a week. I was disappointed that there was a problem with the book but very impressed with their customer service.
All in all ZNO photo books are great value for the money.
I ordered a wood grain print. Zno advertised wood grain in the print "Images are printed directly onto half-inch thick maple board. The wood grain shows through in lighter parts of the image, creating a wholesome, naturalistic look.'" When I got my print there was no wood grain in it at all. It was blurry, washed out colour and had a plastic like look to it that was just stuck on the wood. It looked terrible and not at all what was advertised. Their response was that there was no manufacturing error - wood prints in wood grain is not offered now. They would not give me my money back even though had clearly false advertised.
I got their flush mount album for Christmas as a gift from my best friend and I love it. The photo book feels very sturdy and I am not sure if the layouts are from this company or if my bestie used another website for that but it looks amazing!
