I have had my resume professionally done before, but I haven't had much luck with scoring interviews. Dave, my ZipJob writer, however, took my old, three page resume and reworked it into an attractive, concise, and informative document that got me 2 interviews within a couple weeks.

The order process was interesting and easy to follow. I think that the questionnaire they made is almost perfect for the resume writer to know what he needs to lay it down on the documents.
My resume and cover letter were written by Adam G. I can recommend him, professional and polite writer. When he needed more information about me, he asked very politely. And when I did provide him with the required info, he put it on my resume perfectly.

Tried this service, received a resume that was significantly worse than the reference one I sent them, and was filled with copy/pasted poorly formatted words. When I asked for revisions, I was ghosted, and they don't offer a refund. Save yourself the money and write the resume yourself, I can promise it'll be better than what this service will write for you.
This is my second time using ZipJob to rewrite my resume and, again, I had a great experience with them. With my previous write-up by them I went from getting zero calls to get six interviews lined up within weeks of using the revised resume. And on top of excellent results it's really easy to communicate with your writer. Great service!
I have struggled with federal resume formatting for a long time. This investment took the worry away and helped me focus more on the application and networking than the format and keyword issue. I highly recommend it for those that feel they are highly competitive but may not be familiar with federal resume rules and regs.

This is an update to my original review that was very negative. I originally worked with an author that produced typos, copy/paste errors and portions of someone else's resume. Within two hours of posting that review I was contacted by one of the Co-Founders to make the situation right. They provided some suggested changes and also had another writer contact me with additional updates. I'm left feeling like the company truly cares about doing top tier work, but I experienced one bad apple. My advice to folks using the service is that if you are not happy with the work you receive, reach out to their support team. As a company they truly want to offer a great service.
I had a regular rent how about three years ago it was done very well. I graduated from my master program and one an update and what they delivered me with complete garbage. I asked for a review per the contract and it was done even worse. In applying for jobs in new career directions, my resume wasn't getting much attention. They rewrote it in a way that still outlines my specific job responsibilities and skills, but which also highlights the skills that might translate to something new. I am incredibly happy with zipjob and my writer. She fixed everything just the way I asked her to, definitely knew what she was doing, could answer any and all of my questions with confidence, and truly wrote a great resume for me. Will definitely be using the website again when I need to update my resume.
They get your money and promise to have a draft to you in a few days. I'm going on 2 weeks and all I've seen is a rough draft but fail to follow up with revisions. If you complain, you never get a reply from the same person. In my opinion, it's a scam! Save your money or use another service.

I found this to be very time consuming and in the end have a resume that still has not produced interviews. I am an older workforce candidate and have a wealth of knowledge. I requested a skills resume and received it of push back on that request. Instead I have a chronological resume which does not represent me well. When I asked for a revision the end result was a resume with job history moved around... Do your research for the best bang for your money.
If you are not good at writing a resume, they can help you with the format and finding the right words to put things together for you.
However, my experience is:
1. I was assigned a resume writer who is not familiar with my field. The first draft I received was extremely disappointing. It seems he just took my resume and reformat it.
2. You will need to review the resume and raise sensible questions to improve the content.
3. The good news is, my resume writer is patient and answer the questions. He made changes requested. But I still hold my doubt in the final resume whether it could have been done better. I think it will be different if it is written by someone who knows my expertise and fields.
It is ok, but why would I pay for someone who does not know my field at a higher price.
I pay for a professional service expecting someone who is skilled in resume writing and know my field but end up with feeling having a graduate who knows to do the right thing, but still learning.
I did not use zipjobs services and they refuse to refund me. They follow up with excuses on my refund. They suggest me using it later or for someone else. The support number is intentionally set up so no one answers you calls and it goes straight to voicemail. On phone with credit card company right now trying to dispute it. They have a number that rings 1-2 times and then a voicemail. This way they don't have to take angry customers call and screen who to call back.
The first author assigned to me was not American and was unable to write. The second writer was better but still did not have any expertise to lend me. The presented service is nothing like the service delivered. The cover letter, despite precise feedback, continued to come back with the verbatim comments I was making. There was no thought put into it the only regurgitation of the same information I was providing. Their service is not full of experts but low wage employees abroad. I am 100% unhappy with the service.
