Since Zara started allowing multiple items from orders to be returned in one shipment there have been major problems. The labels that were printable at home are coming back with invalid numbers forcing the customer to call customer service to get a useable label. Whenever Zara issues a label to your email, items from the shipment magically go missing so you don't get credited the money back.

I purchased a dress from Zara for a party and the strap of the dress broke off in the party ( extreme embarrassment), when i called them to exchange and get a new piece for the same dress, their apparent team ( useless and unequipped)decided after 2 reviews that they would not exchange it because its apparently not a production mistake and its my mistake ( wow! Extreme respect towards your customers! Keep it up Zara) I have purchased from Zara in turkey, USA, UK and India their customer service is globally bad. If you'l soon dont learn to respect your customers you wont any left to sell it. High time that their standards increase like their price does.
Package never arrived but says delivered on lasership tracking page, called zara took 3 days investigate and responded exactly as what lasership page says (good job on the investigation). Resolution is no apologize, no refund, no re-send. I questioned them why trust the shipping company with bad reputation and not the customer, and I refused the resolution and said I will escalate to the credit card company(which I am sure I will get the refund right away), they responded they will do another investigation and get back to me within 24 hours. At this point, I don't care what the resolution is, they already loose customer. Zara did not try to help a customer who paid for the order and never received what he ordered.
Purchased a shirt less than a month ago, wore it once, hand washed it and noticed there was a snag in it. I was going to purchase another $100 worth of clothing but they would not exchange my defective shirt since it was worn and washed. I've had many other items obtain holes in them after wearing them a few times and always hand washing them. Horrible customer service.
I will never ever ever shop from them. There was a pair of shoes I purchased them after one use, these shoes hurt my feet badly and I talked with customer service, they asked for photos and after couple days they turned me back and said I could return or exchange. Next day I came a store and called them, they said the note was different. They are kidding with customers and It is unacceptable and I will never recommend anyone to this brand.
I am happy with ZARA. This is for what i call a great little bag that makes a big statement. Perfect size to carry the essentials. Fits my cell phone, lipstick, etc. I did have to scale down my wallet because the purse is very flat, but thats the point. It is great for going out and carrying just what you need. The color is true to the photo. Very pretty.
Do not buy holiday gifts from Zara! They will not return anything after 30 days not 31 days and they didn't stretch it out over the holidays like some other retailers to all I wanna do is exchange it for something else and then under no circumstances, but they exchange it. They also have two different policies for online orders and install orders. I will never shop at the store again.
A month ago, i ordered 3 pairs of jeans. All size 4, but one fit like it was a 0. I returned them two weeks later, but i realized that i had to cancel my card eventually because i was moving out of the country. I talked to a customer representative and she was helpful! She began the refund process before i had to cancel my card. Even though the sizes were inconsistent, customer service made up for it. Would've been 2-3 stars.
First of all, shipment arrived week late. During the shipment time price dropped. Nobody is willing to adjust the price. Very simple explanation though - system would not let to adjust the price. Finally, one item arrived with defect. You have to go thru the hell of filling the claim. Zara still in the process of the decision making. I was told I can't return my item till decision made. Really? Never ever dealing with them

Zara's return policy is awful and the corporate customer er service was less than helpful when called after the store was unable to rectify a simple situation. The store was unable to process an exchange order as per their own return policy and had no back up plan other than saying I should come back at another time. This of course was after an hour of waiting in line and dealing with management in store.
I shop at Zara quite often, whether these are offline visit or just enter this website and put stuff into cart.
What to say... convenient, what else. It doesn't take a lot of time for me to buy clothes, whether this is home wear, linen sweaters from Massimo Dutti or casual jeans.
I have no troubles with finding the right size as I know it perfectly and clothes always fits me good.
So, thank you guys, I would say... navigation on the site isn't flawless, but these are trifles to me.
I ordered 17 items online from Zara, and they only sent me 10. I keep asking through their customer service team, and they say the warehouse only confirms that they mistakenly packed three items. And they will not be responsible for the remaining 4. What a shame! If there is an error, this is highly possible that the other items are mistakenly sent! I have been buying from them from time to time, yet I guess this is probably the last time.
Bought three dresses, a pair of boots and a purse online. After I purchased everything I went to the reviews to see how long it usually takes for people to get their items. I saw how poor the reviews were and thought I'd never get my package. They shipped it out within two days of putting in the order and a day and a half later I got home and the packages were at my door. Everything fits perfectly and I've got no complaints! Maybe I just got lucky, but I'd definitely order from here again. :)
I ordered quite a few things from the website and it was a terrible experience. When my package got to the post office it was inexplicably sent back to the company and no one could tell me why. I could not get any answers. No one offered me any sort of discount of compensation and I felt like an idiot for ever shopping there in the first place. I ended up having to cancel my order. I don't understand how people can run a business like this.
I didn't have any problems with shipping, other than they didn't send me my tracking number until a day before it arrived. I ordered Saturday and it arrived on Wednesday. Customer service is a little slow but they always got back to me. (on Twitter)
The clothing I ordered on the other hand, a little disappointing. I ordered a jumpsuit and the material is thin and see through, feels a little cheap honestly. On the website it looks different. I have to go get it tailored because the leg and waist area is super unflattering. Definitely not worth $60... I probably won't shop there online again, but I might at an actual store just so I can see the quality and know what I'm getting beforehand.
I am a frequent Zara shopper. I go there at least once a week to multiple locations and although I love the clothes, I cannot explain how horrible the customer service is. Over the years, I have received so much attitude from the staff at the front register and the change rooms. They always look miserable and treat their customers like they are below them, and like they are going to steal something. I'm not the person to go out of my way to write reviews, however, I feel as it is necessary due to the consistent negative experiences at all of the locations in the GTA. Not impressed.
Website has kinks! Tried to put order through but at the last page an alert said "one article in shopping cart was out of stock. Please review shopping cart." Then there was button that took me directly back to the cart. Problem was there was no indication at all of which article was no longer available. I even clicked to every product page to check but none had any indication of being out of stock. I don't know how to proceed.
Got some of the coolest tees and shorts from Zara for the kids! Way more creative than things off the rack! Great customer service with free shipping (at the time of my order)! Will be shopping more there!
I don't know where they find these people, but seriously the WORST customer service I've ever experienced in retail. Every time I go in that store (which is quite a bit) all the people working there are always so rude when you ask for help. ZARA seriously needs to consider hiring better people. I started shopping online to avoid having to deal with the rude staff.
