I purchased one of the Zagg InvisibleShields at a mall kiosk. Less than a year later it had entirely peeled off. So I went back for a replacement, since it had a "lifetime warranty". They charged me to replace it. It didn't take more than a few months for the cover to start peeling off again. Back I went. Apparently, a "lifetime warranty" means they get a steady stream of income from people trying to keep their screens protected. They told me I needed the "deluxe" model, and charged me for the upgrade, as well as the replacement fee. This time, I hadn't even gotten the phone back home before the edges started flapping and peeling. I'm done paying them money, will wait til it falls off and buy a rigid cover from somewhere else.
I have actually been getting Zaag since I started buying iPhones maybe about 10 years now. This year was the worst horrible breaks within 2 to 3 weeks and everytime have to pay for a new one come on that is ridiculous only being able to use screen protectors for 2 weeks. No more Zaag for me if I could give 0 I would
I have been trying to get a replacement since the beginning of Dec. Zagg sent it to the wrong address twice, even after address was updated on their website. I emailed a total of 4 times and now they have just stopped responding to me. I won't purchase again. Luckily I'm only out the price of shipping.
I bought a screen protector from Zagg in May, 2022. The screen cracked each time it fell out of my hand. It fell lest the 3 feet and cracked. I had to pay $10 each of the three times this happened before the end of the year. I contacted their customer service and had to wait more than 30 minutes to speak to an agent. The agent blamed the cracked protectors on my iPhone. I had to make multiple calls, waiting 30 minutes each time. The agent blamed my iPhone for the crack in the screen saver. I had to submit copies of my receipt several times. Eventually, the supervisor agreed to waive the shipping fee but after more than a week, I have no evidence that a replacement has or will ever be shipped. I had greater success with $10 screen protectors that I bought at T J MAXX. I'm waiting for customer service now. Maybe, in another 10 or 15 minutes, someone will take my call so that I can experience their "world class warranty service".
Missing alignment tab which made proper installation impossible. "World class Website" which I heard about dozens of times (while on hold for nearly AN HOUR) was broken, not allowing a replacement order. Item purchased thru Verizon, ZAGG is requiring a receipt which I now need to contact Verizon to get.
Spending hours to get a $25 replacement for their screwup is ridiculous, will never buy their products again
I've had three of their so-called "rugged" book keyboards for iPad, and all of them have just died after a few months of light work in the home. Tried sending to a local repair shop, but they are, quote, "un-repairable" garbage in heavy rubber casing. Each replacement cost 10euro for "shipping" and now the warranty has run out I'm not entitled to another replacement. Ignorant, robotic customer services rep was more concerned about making me understand Zagg's pathetic warranty policy than in actually solving the problem of their defective product. Will never buy another Zagg product again. AVOID.
Like others, the Zagg iphone 14 Pro Max screen protector that I bought for $60 broke in 15 days. It was a day past the refund period of my retailer so I had to use Zagg's warranty. It proudly boasts a NO QUESTIONS ASKED and FREE lifetime replacement.
Well, they sure asked a lot of questions, the replacement was not free, and they held onto it for almost a week while demanding information not required on their return webform.
Aside from charging $10 shipping and sending the package by the absolute slowest shipping method they could find (a week to get to Los Angeles?), Here are some of the questions they asked before honoring their no questions asked warranty: credit card number, reason for return, agreement to send back the old protector, proof of purchase, and of course, an address because they wouldn't let a retailer exchange it.
Ridiculously, they held my shipment without telling me because they were waiting for me to send them proof of purchase, which is not requested in their online return process. Why do they need proof of purchase if it is a lifetime warranty and you have to send the old one back or they charge you full retail for the replacement? And if they do, why don't they tell you up front?
Since the product is so expensive and the experience was so bad, I looked up the name of one of Zagg's execs and sent him a LinkedIn request to chat about customer experience "if he is interested in feedback from real customers." I am sure you already know how that has turned out so far...no response.
Do yourself a favor, you can get 4 screen protectors for what Zagg charges. Do it and just toss them if they fail. The Zagg no questions asked lifetime warranty is a bad joke.
My brother got ladybug earrings and a tiger miraculous and on the first day the metal on the earring bent and the tiger miraculous broke into peices. They are very rude about it and refuse to refund. Never ever shopping here again and I wouldn't EVER ship here if I were you
I have had this screen cover for 3 months and now need another replacement and find out there is expensive shipping fees. Wish I would have ordered a cheaper priced amazon replacement which is just as good. 3 covers for the price of shipping 1 replacement.
I bought a Mophie travel charger from Zagg for my iPhone 12, iWatch and Airpods. Apparently, Zagg makes this device.
The charger stopped charging in the middle of the night and leave the iPhone at less than 1/2 charged. I returned the charger and Zagg replaced it, charging me $9.99 for shipping. Zagg sent a refurbished unit as a replacement. This replacement also failed to complete a charge. Zagg sent a second refurbished replacement and this one, too, failed to complete a charge.
Clearly, the Mophie is not going to work and I asked for a refund. Zagg refuses on the grounds that they only give refunds during the first 30 days after purchase. My purchase was more than 30 days ago. Zagg also refuses - now get this - because they say the Mophie was not designed to work with the iPhone 12, yet their own web site says that it does, as does my nearby Apple Store and a myriad of Google searches.
I asked Zagg to replace the charger with one they claim will work with an iPhone 12. They refused.
In reading other reviews of Zagg on this site, I realize I should have checked them out before buying. I do not recommend doing any sort of business with Zagg!
The free replacement warranty is not truly fee. They charge high prices for shipping and handling. Not a good company.
They want me to pay 50% of the price of the screen shield, to send me new one, when I got this from a store and the store applied it, so I have no fault in what is happening. Don't go for this company is not worth, just get a screen shield for $5 and go with it.
My phone fell the first day. It was in the otter cover. The screen protector broke. Now they want to charge me for shipping the new one almost as much as the protector cost.
Personally I will not buy directly from Zagg again. Their products for the most part are fine (though competitors are often just as good or better). BUT if there's anything wrong there's no one to speak to or email. Even seconds after you place an order you can not rescind it or change it. Recently I purchased one of their chargers. It would not recognize my iPhone so it was useless. Another brand had no issues seeing the iPhone. That to me is a defective product yet I had to pay to return it.
The customer service is excellent, staff are friendly and attentive to solve any issues regarding service and customer support.
It takes 5 minutes to solve an issue. We need companies like Zagg. They offer great products and professional general support I'm amazed, and I'm very happy with my purchase of the "Zagg Rugged Pro Connect Apple IPad 10.2 "
Durable, easy to connect, ideal for use in medical offices and studies. Love it.
I asked for warranty replacement and paid $9.99 for shipping on their site due to installation issues the first time and didn't wanna drive to the closest zagg location (30 min drive - and they charge $8 installation fee anyway thinking must well order onlineā¦). Nothing came and no emails nothing for a week so I logged in again only to see a canceled status. The replacement was canceled without any notice! Great. Thinking there might be an error from the system I ordered again and another week later it was canceled again without any notice. Then I finally contacted via chat and spoke with Derek - now they said they need a copy of the receipt before anything could be placed and I actually couldn't find now. If this was the process why don't you mention it in the beginning rather than letting people place replacement orders and then no communication comes out after that? And now you are saying oh wait you are doing all that for nothing. HUH? No apology for cancelling the orders whatsoever and he sounded like he didn't care either and told me to go to Best Buy to try to get a replacement. Aren't u the one who's suppose to be sending one? And I used the phone with no shield for 2 weeks just for this. So I told the guy I can mail the old one back rather than finding the receipt at the moment to proof that I am not trying to sell it or anything and with the $9.99 shipping cost you would think that would cover the manufacturing cost any way. No luck! If u think u may need to use their warranty - Save the receipt and laminate it, paste it onto your bedroom wall - do whatever before u try to get warranty from them and oh even with a receipt theres the $9.99 shipping OR $8 installation fee to replace it. Not sure if that's any kind of warranty at all and I am done dealing with this company.
Ps: this is for an iPhone 14 screen protector, since it just got released this month so it could not have been over the warranty period.
My wife and I got screen protectors for our new iPhones from them. We were in the mall with the new phones and said why not. NEVER AGAIN WILL THE GET MY BUSINESS. Use BodyGuardz for your phone equipment. We should have never tried Zagg. Not even a week into having the screen protectors they started to bubble and come off or our phones. Horrible! We went back into the store to get them replaced and they were going to try and charge us to replace them. Stupid. Never use Zagg. Take your business to BodyGuardz
I have been loyal customers to them for a long time but when this year they sent a bad cut iPhone 14 Pro protector and bad quality iPhone 14 Pro Max that was cracked the next day from a regular normal use and when I asked for a refund they said I have to return it and also pay for shipping, this how they lost me and filed a claim against with my credit card. Guys just don't buy their products and support their scam business.
Purchased this Junk and 3 weeks into it ripped putting it in my empty pocket. I went back to at&t thats where I bought they told me I had to go online and make a claim to get a replacement. At&t never told me that when I purchased all they said was a lifetime warranty. I went online to file the claim and had to jump all their hoops they said i would have to pay 10 dollars shipping which i did. I waited 3 weeks for a new one made an appointment for screen protector install then drove back to AT&T. The salesman opened the box and attempted to install and there was no screen protector in the box! Drove home to sit on the phone for an hour- had to email 3 different shots and needed all the paperwork basically a TOTAL HASSEL! They are going to send another one- BUT NOT GOODS SERVICE FROM EITHER AT&T OR ZAGG! Save yourself go another way!
I purchased the clear case for my i phone promax 13 and after two months it looks like dirty, or a case found on the trash. When I tried to exchange according to warranty, I need to pay minimum 10 dollar for shipping. I will never buy this unless i want to cry for the rest of my life. Total rip off.
