I have 2 Martin guitars. An X series, and a D18E. Both are great.
I have been playing guitar just over a year. I have been struggling with barre chords and deadening strings due to my small hands and fat fingers. I researched and stumbled upon ther Zager guitars website. I am glad I did.
I chatted with Dennis, Jr., and shortly after this I ordered a Zad900ce. As promised it was here in 3 business days. WOW... I was just blown away with this guitar. From the sound, the quality and my problems were solved. I even took it down to where I bought my D18E, and sat in the Martin room and my friend that works there compaired it to a D41. The Rad900ce was right there.
I again chatted and wanted to try a Zad50ceom, and it was awesome. It is the one I kept. I played a gig with it and it played like a dream and sounded awesome through the PA.
I would highly recommend Zager Guitars to anyone. They are with you every step of the way. From Amanda in the office to Dennis Jr who communicated with me.
Today I received my new Zager guitar. It came very fast and was packaged well. The guitar is very high quality and is set up as described. I am a beginner and find that it is easier to play than other guitars I have used. Now I have no excuses. The customer support was fantastic. I changed my order and was helped out courteously and quickly. I am extremely happy with the entire experience. I would highly recommend Zager guitar to anyone that would like a fantastic guitar and a wonderful buying experience.
The finest guitar that I've ever played or owned. Customer service has been great during my purchase, and after my guitar was delivered. Thanks Dennis!
Love my Zager OM 80 guitar. Have been playing it almost every day for 10 months and am making great progress. If I have trouble playing something on one of my other guitars I know I can switch back to my Zager and work through it.
I just received my ZAD80 guitar from Zager. Opened the shipping box immediately and couldn't be happier. The craftsmanship is apparent at first glance, but the closer you look at the details, the better it becomes. Couldn't wait to play my new ZAD80 and it was everything I expected. Beautiful tone quality. This guitar is everything that I wanted from a top-quality guitar. I look forward to playing it for many years to come. The folks at Zager are very helpful, they will answer any questions you may have. If you are thinking of buying a guitar, check out their website.

I finally got the humidity up to a little over 80 in the case.
I got the guitar out after four days and what a difference.
I have had the guitar a little over three years now and think this is like the third set of strings.
I had gotten into the habit of leaving the guitar out, I will be keeping it in the case.
Anyway just wanted to let you know, with the new strings and I guess it has had enough time to season a bit.
It is really sounding good, could not be happier with it.
Thank you again for your help, you were right on with the fix.,
Robert
Above is just copy past of final reply to Dennis on a email string.
Would like to also mention that my brother has a very high end name brand guitar that was a gift to him from his wife and friends. When asked him what he thought of my C80 E, his comment was "I can't tell the difference".
They paid considerably more than double for His.
I normally don't spend the time writing reviews... why praise a company or a product just because it does what it is supposed to do? However, Zager Guitar went beyond what I thought was typical support and if they are going out of their way to take care of me, I can go out of my way to support them.
Bottom line... purchased a Zager guitar from a retailer and an accessory was missing. I thought I could bypass the red tape and have better odds of getting my problem resolved by writing to the manufacturer Vs the retailer. Within five minutes of sending off an email stating my problem, I received a response from Zager... they will take care of my problem ASAP and they are sorry for the inconvenience! Amazing! That, my friends, is what customer service is all about! And by the way... Love the guitar!
I am a beginner at guitar, but have been playing mandolin for a few years. I know the feel that I like and the sound I want. I receive my ZAD50CE yesterday and it'd is great. It is exactly what I expected from watching their videos and reading reviews. It is beautiful and has a great sound that will only improve with time. Check them out. You will not be disappointed!
About 2 years ago, as a beginner... I discovered Zager guitars... their promise of EZ play, high quality and great sound with terrific service is all true... I bought the ZAD50 OM/CE, then the Zager Parlor mahogany acoustic/electric and now the ZAD80CE... all because what they said turned it to be true... these folks are real!
I recently got the OM 80 I am beyond pleased with this guitar it's exactly what they said it was easy play it's the easiest guitar I have ever played in my over 20 years of playing I would recommend anyone who enjoys playing to get one you won't be disappointed.
Tweaked the truss rod a bit and holy cow the action is like my Tele. After playing the Zager for awhile and going to my Taylor and then back to the Zager, I think I like the Zager in some respects better. I never had any acoustic play as good. Nothing plays like a Zager. I've had Yamaha, Gibson, Alvarez, Epiphone, Martin's and Taylor's with pro setups and nothing plays like it. Also getting help and advice from the Zager website is so easy and helpful. You would never get service like this from any other guitar seller.
I just received my Zagar Travel Guitar and as a engineer by education and profession I always do a detailed inspection of new products I purchase with flashlight and magnifying glass. I was extremely impressed with the build quality of my new Zagar guitar. The weight and looks of the all solid wood construction gave it a good feel of sturdiness. It's is a looker too with the abalone, gloss finish and the African mahogany body. I am not partial to the rough matte finish that some companies produce. I have been searching for a wood travel guitar and played all the well-known Baby's and JR's and even bought one of the baby's and swapped pins and put on handmade strings and while I made it better, it still had that tinny sound that made it so unsatisfactory. My new Zagar Travel has a great balanced sound with a full throat of low's. You really would not know that it is a Travel Guitar without looking at it. My Zagar Travel Guitar compares very close to the Baby Collings that i tried here in Nashville. I actually definitely prefer the looks of the Zagar Travel Guitar, as far as sound I actually think the Zagar captures a little more of the low's. So check'em out.
I can say this for sure it is awesome, sounds great, very pretty, well made and what an awesome birthday-anniversay present. What more can a person ask for other than the love of God. Thank You Dennis Zager and Jr

My new Zager ZAD80CE Guitar
Published 6 hours ago
After careful and lengthy research and reading many reviews, I bit the bullet and ordered my 1st "real guitar". I couldn't be more pleased. I rate it my #1 guitar I have ever played or owned. And I currently own 7 guitars. A Taylor T5, a Washburn Custom Prairie Song, an Ibanez, Michael Kelly electric, Oscar Schmidt Delta King and a Rogue Bass guitar. My Zager is by far the easiest playing of ALL guitars I have played. The quality of everything from the guitar, case, strings, picks and Customer Service is OUTSTANDING. Dennis Zager Jr. Responded immediately to my many questions.
My best friend was a long time Martin, Taylor, Gibson dealer and is in awe of the sound and playability. I absolutely have no buyers remorse on this purchase and would, and may, order again.
In my 50 years of playing guitar starting back in the 70s with a FG 120 Yamaha acoustic to a D28 Martin Acoustic Guitar and every thing else in between. My Zad 900 over all pretty much blows every guitar away that I have played? The Yamaha FG 120 was a favorite acoustic of mine for many years because of the great action and sound on it. The Martin held up to it's own on great sound. But my Zad 900 ce has it all starting with the craftmenship of building this Beautiful guitar. From the first strum out of the shipping box came a very full loud perfect sound that totally blew me away. This will probably be my last Acoustic guitar I will buy unless its another Zager.
Thank you for a Beautiful Guitar Dennis.

I have two Zagers, a ZAD80CE-OM, and a parlor size travel guitar. I played Martins for 40+ years, and sold my 4 Martins last year to buy these Zagers and I am thrilled with them: awesome sound, easy to play, solid construction, beautiful attention to details, and the customer support is unbelievable. One of the best musical decisions I ever made.
Bought a rare Used Zager
I found a used ZAD20BK a day when the stars aligned in July of 2019. Nobody who plays, sells them; they keep them. Love the wider nut, string separation and radius for fingerstyle picking. I am an older beginner (upper 50's). If you want to learn to play fingerstyle guitar, this is a great choice!
Bought my 1st ZAD80CE 5 years ago and bought my 2nd ZAD80CE OM 2 years ago. I enjoy playing either one and even traveled with the OM. Everyone of my friends that get to play them love them as well and always say that it is so easy to play - it truly is... I can't stop talking about Zager guitars. Most recently I bought the Zager guitar strap and am quite happy with it as it is very comfortable and great quality. Thanks Dennis for building such wonderful instruments and Dennis Jr. For your team's awesome support.
Purchased the Parlor Size Mahogany guitar. This is a true work of art! The fit and finish is amazing! Truly beautiful. This guitar plays nicely, and the sound is amazing!
Answer: I am not interested in a 1969 song as much as the wonderful services and the best guitar in my own humble opinion on the market in 2019. They are truly gifted Luthers and honest men of integrity men to work with and that sir is no lie God Bless Mike A
Answer: Through email, I hear back within 24 hours or less every time.
Answer: I'll put my new ZAD900CE up against anything Martin makes or has made in the past.
Answer: They answered my emails within hours.
Answer: I have purchased (2) guitars from them and they are both excellent guitars. Customer service is next to none. Ignore the haters, this is a legit company based out of Lincoln Nebraska.
Answer: I asked the same question and was told they are experiencing shipping issues just like the rest of the country. In retrospect, I should have ordered a 'sale guitar' which are new guitars that were used by Denny (a few hundred dollars cheaper too). Kind of like a loaner or demo car I guess. It took me 7 or 8 weeks to get my brand new Zager 900 CE.
