I have been playing guitar professionally for over 35 yrs. I have owned and played a lot of different guitars during that time. I've got to tell you that I have never felt the joy of playing that I experience with my beautiful ZAD900CE Zager guitar. I can't tell you the excitement I felt when I first opened the case and saw this amazing work of art. The tones when I first put a pick to the strings was like a dream of what I always thought an acoustic guitar should sound like. When I am jamming with friends, who are playing their very nice and expensive Martin, Taylor or Takamine guitars, honestly, their mouths just drop open. The Zager guitar stands out head and shoulders above those others. The natural sustain and acoustic volume of my Zager guitar is simply unrivaled to any acoustic guitar I have ever heard. I have let some of my really, really good friends play my guitar and several of them are planning to buy one. If you want a guitar that you will love forever, then I tell you my friends, this is the guitar for you.

I have owned a few guitars - last great one was a martin D41 - she aged well - but had to sell her - so I found Denny Zager guitars and the more I read the more impressed I was so I took a chance being that there was a 100% money back guarantee- excellent communication, excellent packaging during shipment well it finally came - I read to let it set in room temperature for 2 hrs - when I picked it up with very little tune she came to life - I will say it is going to be a journey as the guitar ages and opens up - I am very impressed by craftsmen ship and materials and the sound - I purchased a ZAD 900 acoustic with case - pretty close to the D41 on sound all ready - this is what I meant going to be a fun journey as this guitar ages - for the money and attention to detail these guitars are well worth every penny

I was looking for a guitar that would be easier to play since getting arthritis, and found Zager. I was skeptical of buying an instrument online (I've never before bought a guitar without playing it first), but I knew I could send it back if I wasn't satisfied. I have to say that I am *beyond* satisfied. This guitar is so easy to play, my arthritis doesn't even bother me while playing. Their customer service has been quick and personal every time I've had a question. Their website looks a little old and funky, but everything works just fine, and their products are amazing (at least the one I got!)

This guitar not only looks beautiful but the sound that comes out of it is absolutely astonishing. I've played guitar for about 30 years (just around the house nothing professional) and I have only played the $100 guitar my dad gave me. I figured it was about time to buy myself a new And better guitar... I can't put the guitar down. It makes me want to be a better guitar player. The ease of play is perfect and now my sons want to save up their allowance to buy their own Zager Guitar. My whole family loves this guitar even my dad and brothers want one. I had my younger brother come over and try it and he said his dream guitar was a Martin. Key word "was". He wants to buy a Zager Guitar now too. If you want a really nice acoustic guitar I recommend the Zager Guitar to everyone.

Zager guitars has several things in one stop. The guitar was absolutely gorgeous and well crafted. It plays very well. It is hard to find a vendor that puts so much care into the instrument plus the customer service is second to none

The zager arrived Monday and we haven't seen much of our son when he gets home from work(he wont put it down... lol). He gave us a little play session and it sounds amazing. It doesnt even compare to the other acoustic he has which is a mid end guitar. I asked him to take out his other guitar to compare and he wont because it sounds embarrassing compared to the zager. We told him to give it 30 days before deciding if he definitely wants it. Well, today he said its not going anywhere. He brought it with him to play with his band and they are all impressed by the sound. He did say its the easiest on his fingers that he has ever played and he has played both Taylor and Martin high end guitars. He was very skeptical before it came in which is what we expected but he is no more. You and your dad make top notch guitars... It makes me want to learn to play.

My new Zager guitar is beyond anything I expected. The ZAD900CA is honestly the best and easiest acoustic I have ever played. I started learning at 12. I am now 70 so that's a lot of years of playing. I have had several interactions through Email with your people and, without exception, every one of them has been helpful and courteous with instant answers. Thank you for such an awesome and beautiful piece of gear. Your strings are also fantastic. They ring, are easy to push and last longer than many others I have used. I'll sticking with Zager strings from now on. Zager Guitars is a 1st Class act with a top notch line to choose from. Keep up the good work.

To be honest, I thought my playing days were over. I have been a lifelong musician. Now stricken with medical conditions that stopped me from playing about five years ago, Denny Zager has made it possible for me to warm my soul once again with a Zager ZAD-80CE.

First, I had a lot of questions before purchasing the guitar (especially since I have seven hanging on the wall now collecting dust). My concern was, what does "easy play" mean? Or is it just another gimmick? Denny took the time to answer all the questions and explained it perfectly.

I have sever arthritis in my hands and another condition that results in taking daily shots in my hands. Considering that I might be able to fall back in love with my music once again I decided to go with Zager. I can say that it is the best decision that I have made in years! Within a few days I was playing again. What joy came to my heart.

I played guitar every day, when I was a teenager. Thought I was the next best thing to Leo Kottke. I wasn't but I was always a decent bass player and have done that for 40 years. Now I'm so much older and my fingers are creaky and fat and after struggling with my old 12 string Epiphone wondered if there was anything that might make it easier for me to play again. Found Zager Guitars and after a few weeks of indecision pulled the trigger on a new ZAD50CE Solid African Mahogany Acoustic Electric. I've been playing an hour a night and things I thought lost are coming back. It's fun to play again. Guitar looks and sounds fantastic. Makes me sound so much younger. I'm a Fan for Zager.

PS - I had a setup question and got an answer from Dennis within a few minutes. This was 10:30 at night. I'm more than impressed.

I'm a larger man (including my hands) and I've played guitar for many decades. I have an African mahogany Martin that keeps sounding better and better and I love it, HOWEVER: As I age, I realized that the Martin's neck, although standard, is too narrow for my big, old, well-used hands. I've been choosing my less desirable nylon string guitars because of their wider necks. I often prefer finger style. I MISSED PLAYING MY STEEL STRING MARTIN which has a "standard" nut width because I'm UNABLE to play many of my favorite songs on the beautiful sounding Martin. I discovered that 3/16 of an inch makes all the difference by playing a hybrid width nylon string guitar. My search for a steel string wider nut replacement guitar, with solid body and reasonable price was unsuccessful, until:

Seeing a share on Facebook, I became aware of Zager and made inquiries (the family responded promptly, even on the weekend). I looked at the comparison video. I was pleased to see that they had a solid body African Mahogany guitar ready to go. I bought it and it arrived in the dead of winter in perfect condition! My nervousness about buying a guitar was calmed by the return policy which would have included shipping.

I've got a music mojo boost, with a solid body guitar more than reasonably priced! So far everything I've tried to play, finger style or not, up the neck or not, is playable on my new Zager.

Probably not a negative, but I expected the mahogany to have a less shiny appearance, but everyone agrees it looks and sounds great. I'm sure the cedar and spruce appearance would have been as expected. The grain on mine looks outstanding and with the solid body, I get to play it into even better sound!

Everything is as represented. I'M SURE THAT 3/16 of an inch at the nut made all the difference! The thin neck, solid feel and other features are perfect and as represented.

I may even begin using a pick again, as the unique pick (included) is easier to hold.

If you think this is bogus, I hereby give Zager authority to put us in touch!
