Craftsmanship: The guitar (ZAD900CE) has an understated beauty - simply has "good bones". Reminds me of a beautiful woman that doesn't need makeup or a fancy hairstyle to turn heads when she enters a room. The inlay is just enough "jewelry" to be noticed.

Customer Focused: Can't overstate how helpful, friendly and positive Dennis and staff are with which to do business. I asked numerous (some "dumb") questions and was always responded to quickly and warmly. Loved dealing with this outfit.

Acoustic Sound: Robust is the word that comes to mind. Rich, warm and pleasing are some others.

Amplified Sound: Awesome. The Fishman Aura Pro images are easy to set up, and the flexibility to easily switch to a different blended sound simply makes playing FUN. ZAGER could not have chosen a better preamp pickup... perfect marriage.

Summary: This ZAGER makes the 13th add to my collection and I suspect it will become my favorite. It truly is easier to play than most steel string acoustics. Sincere kudos to the ZAGER company for this treasure. It is a first class instrument.

I keep it next to my desk and it's the perfect size to pick up and pick a little tune when I'm stressing.

I was looking around for a Zager and this one is near perfect. Beautiful solid mahogany construction, abalone inlays, Grover tuners, even the case is gorgeous. The construction of this thing is truly top notch.

The sound is surprisingly deep for a smaller guitar with good sustain and clear ringing highs. It's super easy to play with excellent action and string-feel.

Size, workmanship, and ease of playing make my Zager Parlor totally one of my favorite guitars! Customer service is excellent too!

Also who in their right mind spends big money on a quality Instrument without holding it and playing it? Me, that's who.
I have played guitar for 55 years and this is the best sounding and easiest playing guitar I've ever played and I played them all.
My communication with Dennis jr was pleasant and he answered my e mails almost immediately every time.
The guitar was shipped perfectly and IN TUNE. Played for 3 hours straight without realizing the time. Plays as easily as my electric guitar if not easier due to the smooth fretboard.
Dealing with the zager family is a simple stress free experience which is not easy to come by these days.
I look forward to a long term relationship with zager guitars as I need their support for future maintenance and supplies.

I bought my Zager years ago, on a whim, because I was sure there was no way it could live up to its advertising. Boy, was I wrong! Right out of the case, it played like a dream. In fact, I liked it so much, I bought another one for a gift to a young woman who was just learning to play. The sound on these guitars is smooth and mellow and the action is awesome. What a great way to help build a beginner's confidence. Buy one--you will NOT be sorry. I still love mine!

My new ZAD80 arrived a couple of days ago. I cannot believe how easy it is to play. I played folk music in college (many years ago) on a couple of old used instruments and sang with a couple of groups. I even had a 12-string for a while. So it's been a few years since I even came close to a guitar. Imagine my surprise and delight when I opened the case, picked up this top quality instrument, and sat down to play. The action is superb, especially after a couple of tweaks to the truss rod. I have small hands and this guitar fits perfectly. I am now a fan of bluegrass music and have attended several sessions with my 5-string banjo. I'm not very good at it. Now I can sit in on jam sessions with a superb instrument with a wonderful tone that fits me and allows me to play and sing with the best of them. I bet those folks playing Martins are going to be jealous.

I'm 66 years old and started playing 4-5 months ago on a full-sized dreadnought acoustic. Great progress but some arthritis challenges and ulnar nerve pain developed. So I started researching, found the Zager website and read every review I could find. The concept of Easy Play and the reviews comparing the sound to much higher priced guitars were great but I still had questions. Dennis Zager Jr. Promptly answered all of them and I found out Denny Sr. Had similar issues a few years back and has been playing an OM mostly since. The ZAD80CE OM arrived perfectly packed in its high quality case at the correct humidity. It's a beautiful instrument and the sound is amazing even compared to my full-sized dreadnought. And over the last 2 weeks of playing at least daily my nerve and muscle issues have resolved. I'll be happily playing this guitar for a long time! I also followed up with Dennis Jr. About some long-term maintenance questions and the response came in less than 24 hours even after the purchase. I could not be happier with this purchase and the customer service I received. Thank you.

I just received my Zager ZAD900e and could not be happier!. The fit and finish is flawless, a beautiful work of art. It plays and sounds great and will only improve with age. I wouldn't hesitate to compare to any of the other major manufacturers at twice the price, although I think the sound quality and overall playability of the Zager is better. I look forward to many years of satisfaction as I age with the guitar. Thank you Denny Sr. And Denny Jr. For your great work and service.

Being retired gives me time, time to play my Zager! Being retired also means my hand strength is somewhat diminished due to arthritis. That's why I love my Zager so much. It's extremely easy on my hands and fingers, looks great, and sounds fabulous. I've played Martins, Gibsons, and Taylors and my Zager equals or surpasses them in every way. Zager customer service is also top notch. The few times I've had a question I've received an answer within hours. I am one satisfied customer.

Just received the Zager parlor we bought for our son. He started learning with a Yamaha CGS102A (half-sized classical) about a year ago and was ready for an upgrade. Debated for some time on what to get him, and eventually decided to go with the Zager parlor. He loves it. It looks and sounds amazing. Couldn't be happier with the purchase and knowing he'll continue to learn on a great quality instrument that will last for years.
