I recently received my ZAD 80CE LH/N and have not stopped staring at it since it arrived. I have to remember that it should be in its humidity-controlled case. The finish and quality of materials is stunning. I love the neck, the superb action all the way up and down, and the feel and sound of the custom strings. I this own some beautiful instruments but this guitar stands alone--it is supremely playable and I look forward to the years ahead, playing this beauty and hearing the tone richen as the wood seasons. I would be remiss not to mention what a pleasure it has been to interact with Dennis Jr. It is a win-win: buying American and getting a world-class instrument.

I have been playing on my new ZAD20E for about 2 weeks and while I originally was somewhat skeptical that it would live up to its hype, I can say this guitar has exceeded my expectations in its playability and construction quality. When I received the guitar and took it out of the case, I was immediately impressed the overall quality. All I had to do was some minor tuning and it was ready to play. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and I have owned/played many guitars including Cordoba, Seagull, Larrivee, Martin and Taylor guitars. I can say this guitar is meticulously constructed and plays/sounds as well as or better than any of my other guitars. The woods used for the neck, back and sides are top quality materials with no flaws. The spruce top is very high quality due its straightness of grain, evenness of color and evenness of grain spacing. The intonation and harmonics are spot on and the fretboard/frets/string setup provides easy playing with absolutely no fret buzz over the entire range of the fretboard, which is impressive considering how low the strings are set! The string spacing is great for finger style playing while still being very good for chord strumming. The neck thickness and width is very comfortable especially if you have medium to smaller sized hands. The neck heel to body joinery is flawless and the neck to headstock scarf joint is perfect. The body bindings and rosette inlays were painstakingly set in the body with no gaps, ridges or fillers. The guitar finish (I don't know what type of finish they use) is light and does not interfere with the guitar sound. This attention to detail separates average guitars from the really good ones and this guitar fits into the really "good ones" category. The customer service is outstanding and very responsive to all of my questions. In summary, this is one heck of a guitar at any price!

Hi Dennis, I am writing to you for a couple reasons. The biggest reason is to let you know just how excited I am that my 15 year old son has essentially claimed my 2013 Zager and is practicing for hours on end. Listen, I know you hear this daily, but I have always considered my Zager guitar to be among my finer works of art in my home. Now, I don't play very well at all due to my severe arthritis following a terrible (and in any ways life changing) motorcycle accident for which I am now officially disabled. But enough about me. To see my son cherish this Zager guitar in the way I do makes my heart swell with pride. My son is just a beginner, but I believe as the folks at Zager, that you always try to get the finest guitar you can buy and not to buy a so called "beginner guitar " because there isn't such a thing. Its always been a dream of mine to sit down with my son and to play the guitar with him. And I've always dreamed of giving my son the very best that I can give him to help him find the joy in music. So, that part of my dream is fulfilled. So, that leaves me without a guitar. And let me tell you, I will only buy my next guitar from Zager, I assure you of that. In fact, I have my eye on one of your 900 series. One day, when I can afford another guitar, you can bet my first call will be to Zager. My personal hope is that I can still find one that Mr. Zager put his hand to building and to get his Signature on the back of the guitar. I'm hoping I can accomplish this sooner than later, because my son is growing up and I dont want to miss my chance at making music with him. Please give my thanks to Mr. Zager for his artful interpretation of the guitar. The sound quality is like magic as the chords come together and make those warm harmonic sounds.

I own a Zager ZAD900CE OM. I could not be happier with it. Clearly Denny Zager, Sr., along with his son, have devoted themselves to two things that make a great guitar, the leading-edge technology that makes it both easy to play and sound fantastic, and the unparalleled craftsmanship that makes it beautiful and compelling to hold and make music with. Playing for over 40 years I have owned guitars manufactured by all the big, leading names. I've even owned signature models from some whose specs, to me, seemed perfect for my playing style. Now the only steel string "unplugged" instrument I play is my Zager. Thanks to the Zagers for settling the question once and for all.

Just purchased the ZAD900 and it was everything I imagined. The ease of playing is very noticeable from the first note. The sound was incredible as well. My wife noticed a difference in sound immediately and her ear is untrained to say the least! I was looking for a guitar that I could keep for many years to come and I believe I made the right choice with Zagar. Also the support from Dennis was amazing, very hard to find nowadays! I received my Zager guitar, and the first thing I was excited was how beautiful the humidified case was, when I opened the case I was blown away how gorgeous my new guitar looked. I immediately got it out, minimal tuning needed and played for 3 hours straight. Everything about this guitar is quality. The Sound, the feel and the exceptional quality. It is so nice and easy to play. I was not sure what to expect, I am beyond any expectation I had. I plugged it into my Fender Acoustisonic 90 amp and was blown away by how it sounded. Very excited and pleased. The service I received from Zager is second to none, from ordering, to my email questions with an amazingly quick response. I definitely will be a Zager fan for life!

To be honest I was a little stressed about buying a guitar I had never played before buying. But I figured with the company's 30-day return plan how can you go wrong. So I bought a guitar from Zager and decided after playing it a while I would like to upgrade to the next guitar up in their line. I contacted Denny JR asked him about upgrade and he immediately emailed a packing slip to return the guitar and the day I sent it back he sent the upgraded one. He was very pleasant and asked if there was anything else, he could do for me which in these days and times is rare. I want him to know that his quick response was appreciated. Hello Denny and Dennis Since I receive in late April my ZAD900CE I've play on it quit a bit and I couldn't be more please. It sound great and I don't get tired playing it -- I waited a bit before giving You my comments, simply because of the covid19 situation. My son is a guitar player for many years and now He is a music teacher a the provincial college level and only last weekend He came to my place and got to see and play with the ZAD900CE. He said WOW when I got the guitar out of the case. Then He sat down and we play a little and He said WOW again listen the sound of that thing. We went on to play for over an hour and just like Me He said this guitar not only looks beautiful with a superb finish but the sound of it is of the highest equivalent quality of high end price one.

My Zager 80 CE OM sounds so sweet and warm. I had ordered a discounted 50 CE OM and when it came it was beautiful but had some very small imperfections on it. I sent it back at no charge and was upgraded at no extra charge with a 80 CE OM because they were out of stock of the 50 CE OM. I would have been happy with either but I gotta say the 80 CE OM is sweet. It was set up perfectly right out of the box and really is "Easy Play." I can't put it down at night. I'm losing sleep. Ha.

I struggle to play my guitar because I am 66 years old and have arthritis in my hands. I was skeptical that a Zager guitar would really be easier to play. I called the company one evening and Henry answered the phone at 8:30 at night he graciously answered my questions and told me to call back if I thought of any more questions. The next morning I place the order for my Z900 0MCE. It arrived today It Really is easier to play. The sound rings clear. It is a beautiful guitar. I think every guitar player should own a Zager guitar!

The hardest part about buying a Zager guitar over the internet is waiting for it to arrive! I gathered the goal of everybody I talked to at the organization was to make sure their customer was taken care of. I settled on a ZAD900E and let me just say that baby can sing. The guitar I was using prior was a Guild D30 and I thought that was a nice guitar. A new Guild D30 was about $1200, over 20 years ago. This Zager is a whole different thing. Easier to play with a sweeter sound when finger picking and much bigger sound when hitting it with the pick and then add the Aura electronics and now I have my life long project ahead of me! Oh, did I say this guitar was beautiful? I had never seen a guitar with maple binding. Nice! Anyway if you are skeptical about purchasing a Zager guitar over the internet, no need to fear. Their goal is to make sure their customers are happy and their guitars are quality instruments. On top of that you can access their help section to learn everything you need to know about taking care of your guitar and you also get access to Denny's video guitar lessons. He doesn't even know but has already taught me a thing or two! I will say it again, you can't go wrong with a Zager!

I decided to take the guitar back up after many long years of not playing. I bought an inexpensive acoustic to start with and then treated myself to a Zager and I am so happy I did! This instrument is so easy to play, has great sound and is beautiful to look at. My friend who has been playing for years and has many guitars played my Zager and said it is a stellar instrument. I love the fact that it is handmade in the USA by a reputable, well-established company that offers great deals and personal customer service. Zager's wicked good!

I acquired a ZAD80CE OM guitar and have been playing it every day for a a week. It has quickly become my #1 guitar. The workmanship, action and setup as well as the finish, and materials are absolutely beautiful. The double bound body and neck, fret work are superb.
I am used to the cutawy OM size as it compares closely to another higher end brand cutaway concert size guitar I own, (now my #2), so not a big departure for me. It is very comfortable to play while the tone and projection are awesome.
The guitar came well packed in a hard case that includes a relative humidity display. The included case candy were a nice addition, a Zager 3 sided carbon pick, t-shirt, sound hole cover for feedback elimination, certificate of QA and an adhesive backed pick guard if you are so inclined to install it.

As for my purchasing / customer service experience, Zager = A++, don't hesitate to purchase from them.
Already recommending Zager to friends.
