I have owned Martins, Guilds and many other brands but after my first Zager saw another one for sale used and snapped it up. It was a well used and older model and I noticed a tuning machine was loose and giving me trouble. I sent Zager a note asking what they recommend and they sent me replacement s immediately. Who else provides not only a great sounding and playable guitar but also service like this?

The Zad-50CE is a blessing. I haven't played much guitar for a while due to surgery and arthritis, but this instrument truly enables me to play again for longer periods and more exact playing.

As a several times over failed beginner musician my wife's Chinese guitar got me started but, it wasn't going to help me succeed. Born in 1957 have followed Folk and Alt. Country forever. I have several friends/fraternity brothers who are really good musicians. My ZAD-50, gave me a beautiful sounding instrument, American made, and all of the aesthetics in the World. Free hardshell case and leather strap was gravy. I doubt there is a better price/value guitar line out there. PS Easy Play is real!

I ordered my Zager guitar online in April. I had never purchased a guitar this way and was hesitant, especially given the lead time in receiving the instrument. I exchanged emails every couple of weeks asking for updates, and true to their word, I had a reply within 30 minutes.
I received the guitar last week, and it is a beauty - I emailed Dennis Jr. And inquired about the action. I took it to my instructor and luthier on Tuesday. He was genuinely amazed at the quality and said he was envious that a guitar with the construction and sound of the Parlor for $795 could be made in today's market. We lowered the action a bit, and I have to say I was delighted with the sound. I have also tried using my slide, and it is a charm on this guitar.

Here is a picture. Forgive the mess at my office - I teach at the college here in Virginia and just finished up class. I keep this beauty right by my side so I can pick her up anytime.

I took my mahogany parlor Zager to a "pick-around" last week. It's a group of local pickers who like to share tunes, a few licks, originals and covers, and guitars. We gather three or four times a year. I almost didn't get my guitar back.
I played Martins, a Breedlove, Gibson's (new and a very old one), and a beautiful Taylor. I did go home with my guitar but it wasn't easy getting it back.
It is very rewarding to have other pickers want your instrument. And, playing theirs told me I picked the right one for me.

I just received my Zager Zad50 CE OM yesterday and it is a well built guitar. It sounds fantastic too. It took a little longer to receive than expected due to supply chain breakdowns but it was worth the wait. I'm very happy with my purchase. Customer service was quick to answer any questions I had from the start.

I finally received my Zager 900CE after long delays due to Covid, beyond Zagers control. And I love it. I own two Martins, a J65 and a D16, and I have to say, this Zager plays easier and sounds crisper than the Martins. I never thought I would ever say that, but it is what it is.

I wish I had a Zager guitar when I was first learning to play. I just bought my first Zager, and it's a top-notch guitar. The quality and playability are just as advertised, and with the awesome case and accessories (included!), at these prices?…. Phenomenal! I'm delighted to own mine. I received this guitar July 14 and am totally thrilled with the sound, quality, looks, comfortable size and perks. Let me give you some background. I received my first guitar at age 13. A little mahogany Harmony. I self taught myself cords and played for personal enjoyment and expression thru my teens and adulthood. I own a 12 string and a concert Fender but as time has passed had less time to play and now find myself retired and with arthritis I found when I tried to play I couldn't do it more than a short time. My first thought was to get a folk nylon string which I did but returned it in 3 days. Just didn't have the sound or feel for spending over $600. Searching more I came apon the Zager Guitars. I watched and read numerous videos and reviews and decided to go for it especially for the parlor mahogany one. There was a wait because Covid caused shipping delays. The people at Zager always responded quickly to my e-mails. I am so glad I didn't give up because the moment I picked it up and heard the rich sound I knew it was exactly what I wanted. Just like finding an old friend. It is simple but beautiful. The red wood reminds me of that first guitar. The size is very comfortable but not too small. Best of all it is comfortable to play longer. Just need to toughen up those fingertips!. Great perks. Tool to adjust action, strap, t shirt and a high end hard case with digital humidity indicator. Lots of support on their web site. This guitar is something I'll pass down to a grandchild some day.

It is a wonderful, quality guitar, much better than I expected for the low price I paid. It is easy to play and the sound is great. It is the prettiest guitar I have ever bought. I bought a parlor guitar and it has amazing volume for such a small guitar. If someone is looking for a parlor guitar I think they should give Zager a shot. If you don't like it you can return it! No one else that I know gives that offer.

I started learning on a lesser guitar and everything they say at Zager is true…their guitar is easier to play and looks and sounds great. It took a little over 2 months to get it, but we'll worth the wait. As a seller, Zager was very responsive and kept me up to date on delivery. I am happy to have it and look forward to playing it and showing it off. Excellent guitar and seller.

On Wednesday July 14 2021 I received my Zager Guitar, and when I unpacked it
And opened the case the most beautiful looking guitar I have ever seen looked back at me. I tuned it and played it. I must say that I am very pleased with the playability and the sound quality, this was the first guitar I purchased with out playing it first, and I am very impressed. It is more than I expected and it exceeded all of my expectations. The finish of the guitar is the best quality I have seen, and the neck is silky smooth and lets your hand slide up and down the neck with ease. I would recommend the Zager Guitar Co. To anyone who wants the very best in a guitar. And I also noticed that the back top left of guitar was hand signed by Denny Zager.

Just received my guitar and i am very happy to open it up tune it and begin to play. It is beautifully made and the sound is rich with a deep resonance. After adjusting the string height it was easy to play. Light touch is all you need. Case was exceptionally made as well. It took awhile to get it because of high demand and pandemic related shortages. The wait was worth it though.

Needless to say, I am so happy with my new ZAD50CE Acoustic Electric Vintage Sunburst Zager guitar. Beside the beautiful quality and construction, I am amazed with the clean and crisp tone it gives.
