YouTube's reputation is increasingly marred by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to excessive advertisements and perceived censorship. Users express frustration over the platform's reliance on ads, which disrupt viewing experiences and lead many to consider alternatives. Complaints about account suspensions and a lack of transparency regarding community guidelines further exacerbate concerns about customer service. While some users appreciate the vast array of content available, the overall sentiment indicates a growing discontent with YouTube's management practices, prompting calls for more user-friendly policies and a potential shift to competing platforms.

So I oredered online the Alloy site about three days ago and honestly I felt stupid because the site said id get an immediate email never did so I dreadfully went to look at the reviews AFTER I placed my order, so the next day rolls around and im just stressing hoping I didnt get fraud or scamed and called the customer service. So far they have been nothing but respectful reashuring and helpful with me and my order placed I was really excited today when I recieved an email stating that my order was shipped! Iam excited to recieve my product and will be posting a different review hopefully better then thia last one to reasure you customers at alloy is a great place of shopping. Fingers crossed! Ill be back!
It took over a month to receive two out of three items that I ordered. I still haven't received the third item after two months. I returned the two items because of poor quality and fit.
They don't tell you that they will not accept returns or exchanges if it was a clearance sale item. I am stuck with two items of clothing that are too small for me and cannot exchange for something else. So much for online shopping.
CLOTHING DID NOT ARRIVE IN 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS AS THE SITE PROMISED. ALLOY HAS IGNORED ALL OF EMAILS IN ASKING FOR A REFUND. I AM NOT GOING TO BE BACK IN THE COUNTRY TO SHIP THEM BACK.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMR SERVICE
HORRIBLE COMPANY
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
DO NOT BUY FROM ALLOY
There is NO competition to YouTube.com! Vimeo? Dailymotion? Come on!
I believe YouTube.com got worse since Google bought it but it is still the best of the best of the best!
For about 10 years I've been shopping on and off with Alloy. In the beginning, I had no problems with them, but the reviews have me on the fence
This is the 3rd time I've ordered from Alloy, Shirts I've ordered are of poor quality, so now I only order pants. Recently ordered a couple pairs of jeans, they fit so I washed them of course, and the 3rd time I wore the one pair, and I know that because they are a 37" inseam and I wear them with heels, the button that is attached with a rivet, came out of the hole. Called CS, they told me since I washed and wore them that they would not exchange them. Asked to speak to a supervisor, was placed on eternal hold, and after 40 minutes waiting, I hung up. Horrible policy, to rip off the consumer that only wanted them replaced, not refunded, is wrong. BUYER BEWARE!
I ordered shoes back in August and was told they were back ordered. Here is October and I haven't heard anything about the shoes and I couldn't go check my order status because have of the links on their site don't work. After making a twitter complaint I was emailed saying the shoes had been discontinued... WHEN WERE THEY GOING TO TELL ME? At the email they said, "I hope you will shop with us again!". NO. NEVER AGAIN.
YOUTUBE CHANGED when google bought it out. Nice choices of videos, ok functionality (a bit blurry usually though). BUT if you want to do more than watch- you have to sell your soul to google and register and link to google plus, etc. Toooo many registration and privacy invasion issues!
They are totally exploiting all users as much as possible, with all the tracking and data mining they do to you, if you allow them.
If you do NOT sell yourself to them with all your private personal info and total 24-7 tracking of your activities all over the web, then you don't get to use the comments section or even post on your own channel! In other words you can ONLY use youtube to watch videos, period.
ALL FOR GREED AND THE LUST FOR PATHOLOGICAL SPY CAPABILITY.
We all know bout this one so won't say further. The best and recommended.
High speed Internet +Youtube+snacks and you lost the world.

YouTube is the best place for online tutorials! Whatever you need, whatever you don't know how to do it or use it - just go to the website and type it in. It saved me a lot of time!
I placed an order with Alloy two weeks ago and received an order confirmation that same day. I have yet to receive any shipping information after TWO WEEKS. The shipping costs $18 and is estimated for a time of 7 to 10 business days. What the hell?! A few nights ago, I sat on hold with customer service for OVER an hour and finally selected the option to leave a callback number. After doing so, the hold music kept playing for another 20 minutes before I hung up out of frustration. The following night I tried again and actually got through to a disinterested, unhelpful customer service rep. She gave me the run-around and said my order couldn't be processed because I paid with PayPal. Why would your company even offer PayPal as a payment option if you can't process such orders?! She said to call back the next day. I told her I would not do that, and she said she'd leave my number with a supervisor who would call in the morning. Twenty-four hours later... no call. I'm not shocked after reading the other TrustPilot reviews. Should any Alloy bigwigs take a gander at my review (not likely since they think customers can go screw themselves), you better get your sh*t together before you end up bankrupt like many catalog-happy, teen-clothing companies like yourself. It's absolutely outrageous that you'd treat your customers in such a way.
Buyer Beware! I placed an order for merchandise at the beginning of July. The order was lost in the mail. I had to wait two additional weeks to have them resend. During that time, one item was sold out. Instead of crediting my card, they issued me a gift card. When the other items arrived, one was damaged and the others did not fit. I returned them and had the tracking number that showed receipt three days later. One month passed and no refund. Finally had to call them - waiting 45 minutes on Hold and they did not resolve the issue but promised to call with resolution later that day. 8 days later, still no call back and no refund. Another call and another half hour wait and they finally gave me the credit. So, they essentially had my money for 2+ months before they resolved the issue. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from this company again.
I used to be an avid uploader. I usually uploaded a few videos a week. I mainly would use YouTube to chronicle my guitar and computer build for my friends, family, and everyone else who was interested. Then one day the service agreement changed, and all my videos were being flagged for copyright infringement. How somebody else owns the copyrights to me building a guitar (of my own design) is beyond me. You may be thinking "this reviewer is using copyrighted material." NOPE! Just me taking a video of my latest build and then narrating over it. What bugs me is how this can cripple your efforts. After a few strikes your channel will be deleted. Can you easily contact YouTube to resolve this? NOPE! You would think that because we, the youtube uploaders, help make Google money that they would try to help you. NOPE! My videos were not monetized, and I wasnt trying to make money by doing ads in video. This is really just a slap in the face, especial because false copyright strikes are illegal.
I left Youtube in the passed because I had bad experience with youtube, but now I am back to partners with them. I also hope that things will be different this time. I look forward to grow my business, as a person and do other opportunities
I have been shopping with a alloy for almost 4 years. Recently I order a pair of jeans and they sent me someone else's order with their information and clothes inside of the package. I called customer service to tell them that I received someone else's package and they told me that I had to send the package back and wait 11 days in order for them to ship out a new pair of jeans or to get a refund. I asked them was there any way that they could send go ahead and send my jeans since it was a mistake that I didn't make and the customer service lady acted as if there was nothing she could do. I expressed my frustrations to her that I needed my jeans by certain time and she acted as if she could care less. Horrible experience.
I have reviewed this channel and i really like it this person is trying his best to teach the younger generation and older about latest technology and showing them basic computer fixing tricks please check it out Ps3TechGenius
Answer: Not less expensive if you are looking for tall clothing, however they used to have better quality items. There are other companies specializing in tall woman clothing that I can tell you are worth the extra money. Jeans made of real denim, mid-rise meaning just that, etc.
Answer: Beats me but I can tell you that reporting them doesn't do anything. It took a PETITION to get them (and FB) to get them to remove ONE channel with such content and that's just one channel out of a potential 2 million
