I scheduled a Coolant Flush and Refill with yourmechanic.com a week in advance. It was my first service with this company and I liked the idea of the mechanic coming to me to do the car service. I was kept informed about scheduling. Chris arrived exactly at the scheduled time. His service was fast, courteous, professional, and competent. Yourmechanic's prices are competitive and then some. I would highly recommend Christopher in the Atlanta area from yourmechanic.com for any basic vehicle service.

I had Matthew and he's Great hard working guy! Went above and beyond to make sure we got the best possible service. The web sight was easy to navigate and they worked with new to meet my needs. Highly recommend.
Mechanic blew off two date-sensitive used car inspections and he and the management staff of this Firm refused even to tell me when the mechanic would arrive. I advise staying far away and not believing the nonsense on their site.
Had a 3 o'clock appointment mechanic didn't arrive until 4:30 I said to him do you think you should start he turns and says call office and get them to send you someone else. I will never use these guys.
I wanted to replace the starter in 2008 corvette and was quoted $139.19 for labor and $190.12 for part. I agreed on the labor charge and to provide the starter myself. The next morning, 6 hours before appointment the mechanic sent me a message and wanted $347.97 for labor and said since I provided the part they would void the warranty (warrant for what? I bought the part so I would be on my own. Nobody warrants the labor). I denied the service of course and told them do not come. No harm was done. Just be careful with their quote.
Professional mechanic with years of experience and the know how to get the job done right the first time. Easy and convenient way to schedule car repairs. Mechanics show up on time, keep a clean and organized work space. Test jobs to make sure its done correct. Highly recommended for convenience, honesty and piece of mind.
They replied to my last review just for show. I emailed them WEEKS ago and have yet to receive a call from them. My car sounds more and more horrible as the days go by. It's sad that after spending over $600 to fix one thing they messed something else up and refuse to fix it!
Paul was prompt, professional, and most of all... knew what he was doing! I will definitely use him again in the future. He got the job done in the time that was quoted and left a clean environment. Very knowledgeable, had the right tools to get the job done.
All at a price much better than a brick and mortar auto repair shop. Never tried to sell me something I did not need, was honest and fair.
I've used this company numerous times now. My schedule doesn't always match up for when shops are open. Having a mobile mechanic that I can manage from my phone, is super convenient and easy. Not to mention that the prices are fair and what I would expect to pay from any large retail establishment. This is the best! The mechanic was knowledge and really easy to work with.
First the good; approximately six years ago I booked an appointment, got good service, and paid a fair price.
Fast forward to today and my experience matches most of the negative reviews you will read if you dig in a little. I made an appointment and it was not kept. I was quoted a price for the repairs and then nearly double that was charged to my credit card. What they had done is not report or seek authorization to bill parts for the repair.
I found a way to request a refund and to their credit a full and complete refund was made.
I don't know why/how they are still in business. They quickly and happily make appointments for mechanics and then are unable to get anyone to show up as promised. They charge for parts without authorization or disclosure.
This is a great business idea but I highly recommend you try another company.
My mechanic installs brake pads and now I smell burning, then the mechanic quotes me to install new brake pads on the same. I wasted 158.00 for nothing because of a mechanic who is trying to enrich himself. Then I already had my tires rotated and he put down I have to get them rotated again. I will have to take them to court for abusing people. I have a warranty and they want to charge me. Be careful they are scam artist file complaints with the Attorney General, Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission.
Mechanic came out and didn't want to fix vehicle because it's a "Northern" vehicle and couldn't loosen the bolts. Although I was able to easily loosen them myself afterwards. The company did refund my money but did an inconvenience of waiting for repair only to find out they won't complete the service.
I have used YourMechanic twice to have things done to two Honda Accords I own with no problems whatsoever. Then I scheduled to have routine maintenance (brake flush, coolant flush and transmission flush) done. The mechanic they sent was absolutely horrible! He came back to my home three times to work on my car! Subsequently, I had to take my car to AAA repair shop to fix what the guy from YourMechanic had broken! Spent over $1000! The mechanic and company tried to claim that the reason my check engine light was on all of a sudden (when it had never been on before) was because of the gasoline! Come to find out, the mechanic had simply disconnected the knock sensor! It was a horrible experience! He also lost the screw that keeps the anti-freeze from leaking and tried to Gerry-rig it with another screw that eventually caused my car to leak anti-freeze! If I could give this company less than one star, I would because they should vet their mechanics more thoroughly!
Whatever you do, DO NOT use yourmechanic.com. (https://www.facebook.com/yourmech.) I won't go into details, but I paid them to check out some specifics on a car for a friend in another state, and they completely botched the job and didn't do anything I asked them. THEN charged me. After speaking with them, they told me to take a hike. STAY AWAY
William arrived on time and was very courteous. He explained what he would do and was honest about what we needed fixed. He answered our questions and didn't seem put off by us checking in. He encouraged questions. This is our first time using Yourmechanic and I was very nervous but my husband and I were thoroughly satisfied with William and his outstanding, conscientious service. We would use this service without hesitation and recommend it to our family friends. Thank you.
From beginning to end Yourmechanic was on point.
I had them replace my timing belt for $400 plus they asked me if I was going to buy the parts. I did and bought OEM parts. After 7 mos, the belt failed, the engine is toast, and I'm now out $600 for the belt and labor and $4,200 for a new engine. When I asked about the 12 month/12,000 mi warranty, they wanted to charge another $85 to have someone look at the belt to see if its their fault. That would be like asking the murderer to investigate the crime. After numerous calls, they finally agreed to take it to their warranty dept for a review... never heard from them again. Lesson learned.
Mechanic said 2 of my credit cards were not accepted and demanded cash upfront before replacing my dead battery. I asked him to leave and said I had to pay him something.
What a scam Invoice number ******* Ray M. Melbourne Florida
Today is Thursday, I've be trying to deal with them since Monday! They claim they'll contact you within 24 hours, NOT! I'm going to contact a local garage today and a wrecker service. I haven't heard a word from not my mechanic!
My mechanic came & told me the part I needed for my car ( I already knew this). He said he was unable to install it but that I could look it up on ebay & buy the part myself & look up on YouTube on how to install it or call a mechanic... um, Hello?! And $80 later I am still stuck with the same issue. I tried to contact customer service which was a joke. My wait time was 1 hr & 45 mins. They were no help. Thanks for nothing yourmechanic!
I scheduled an appointment with Your Mechanic to come out and replace the belts on my '02 mazda protege. Had to wait weeks for the appointment and when the day finally came, the mechanic gave us a call to ask a few questions. Come to find out, because we had a mechanic friend try to replace the belts prior to the appointment, we were completely DENIED SERVICE! This is so scummy and under handed in my opinion because they know they will lose customers if they told them this information when the appointment was scheduled! I will never call these people again. In fact, I'd scrap my car before calling them to work on it.
Answer: Don't do it. They have scam written all over them. Was told different prices from different people within days of eachother
Answer: Good call. They're not touching anything of mine ever again!
