Great idea, wonder why i never thought of it! Pretty simple and it really works with my schedule, I'm a financial consultant and i really don have the time to check out shops, kinda just trusted whatever my friends or family recommended but YourMechanic actually comes out to my home and finishes the work in my driveway. My Acura TL's timing belt will need to be replaced soon and mechanic Robert gave me a pretty competitive quote. Will update this review once that gets done

Aaron was not only on time to the appointment; he was extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend using this auto mechanic service as they can do repairs at your home or office. Im using the service one week later for a big job on our Chevy 1500.

A Pleased Customer

Very nice gentleman. He arrived on time and got right to work. He accomplished a very difficult thermostat replacement because of where it was located. I would not hesitate to ask for him in the future to perform any auto repairs."

The assigned mechanic cancelled 3 times in over 2 weeks. You open your day then last second! Fourth time a guy showed up after I complained

He says that repair is not done. He says they will charge me 100 plus (they took my 151 right away!)
For his showing up.
So I gave him 60 cash because he said he could write it up so they would not charge me. But they did
So I paid 118 (of the 151) plus 60.178 was more than the original charge
They cancel they lie, they steal and they do it having your money upfront. This company is a huge scam

That dreaded clicking when you turn the key, ugh! Thanks to William's help he brought a new battery, on time, with a smile and had me up and running in no time. I found out about this service out of need but I am glad I did! Very kind, smart and efficient!

Francisco rescheduled 5 times with unprofessional context in text message then showed up 1 hour late. Then proceeded to eat breakfast in my driveway for 30 minutes and then throw his trash in my driveway. Gave him the key to my car. Went outside 2 hours later to see if he needed some water and his car is gone and my keys are no where in sight. He never said he was leaving didn't give any indication that he was gone. Called customer service to see what is going on, and they were no help. Found my keys under the back seat of my 3rd row seating of the Van. Customer service said they could have another mechanic out here to fix my van in a week. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Customer service was trying everything in there power to not give me a refund, but thank the heavens i went through a 3rd party pay-site. I would not recommend this company and most definitely stay away from Francisco. These people will waste your time and try to steal your money.

Worst customer service I have ever had place is a scam stay away these reviews are. It legit giving this place all this praise I promise you. Mechanic never shows up second time by the way and they do nothing about it besides waste your day and time

Never again!

Don't use this company unless you want to be out of money! I needed a ball joint replaced which was diagnosed by another shop. The mechanic came out replaced it, didn't even test drive it, didn't recommend anything else needs to be fixed, yet it still sounds the same way as before I called him. When I call to get them to come back out they want to charge me 90 dollars to inspect their own work LOL.

Charged almost 400 dollars and never showed up! Had the nerve to send me a request to make a third appointment! My daughter is a Detective and is investigating this company and the so called Henry the mechanic that they swear has 12 years experience! They should be ashamed of themselves talking money from a poor disabled senior! I have demanded all my money right back on the Bank card! By tomorrow morning or my daughter is coming back from West Palm Beach to take me to file criminal charges of fraud and also a civil tort against this company, they said they are reviewing my request but I don't expect anything as they have shown they are criminals

Don't use

I have booked an appointment for a starter change and when the mechanic came, he couldn't find anything wrong about the car or why it didn't work. So he said it will only be a trip charge and he will refund all of the inspection and service charge. However, by refunding, it meant that the money will go back into your yourmechanic account instead of your bank account. So essentially, your money is locked away until you use it. They will never truly give you a refund no matter how crappy their service is. Please boycott this business practice.

Not happy with service

I made two different appointments with your mechanic company why is that you ask. Well on my first appointment I was given a appointment time of 1:30 only to find out the mechanic was overbooked so mechanic didn't show up till 5 hrs later he did 40 minutes of work before he realized a part that he needed to go to the part store close to 7 pm. Mechanic doesn't return I was told by text that he might have to come back tomorrow or Saturday. I tried my luck again because everyone has a rough day. My next appointment the mechanic did not show and requested a reschedule 10 minutes before appointment.My time is important to me. I hate having it wasted thinking I'm getting a service only for the mechanic not to be ready.

The worst ever
September 30, 2015

They inspected the car and took 80 dollars, this will be waived if I continue the service with them but the next availability is in 6 days. The car needed half an hour work that's all. One week without a car because they don't have 30 min to complete their work

Avoid it

Avoid this company. My car did not start and after trying jump start and replacing starter I figured out that this is NOT a BAT issue and I ordered 1 hour diagnosis test from them for $74.99. They sent me a mechanic who worked on my car for less than 20 min and said it is BAT. He also advised me (!) to check wires! I called to the office and talked to the very stubborn and low level professional Andy (a little smart $#*! boss from Smart Department, no kidding) with complain and he only protected his own $#*! telling that the guy did nothing wrong and refused to refund me money. O, may be it sounds like an anecdote, but he also wanted to send another mechanic and charge me more for the same diagnosis. Now I am calling to my credit company to dispute this case.

Several issues with this appointment. If I have a set appointment, they should at least reach out beforehand and communicate that. My appointment was at 1 PM, I had to reach out to him for an update, and he then texted me saying he would be an hour and half late. Pretty disrespectful. I asked if it could be fixed today, he seemed to not want to help at all. It seems like a waste of $80. He looked at it for less than 10 mins, and then emailed me a quote for $500 (but the $80 i already paid, doesn't go towards the amount of course). Won't be using the service again

Basically agreed work was completed (not sure all 50 inspection points were really done) in a little over an hour(8/9/21). The problem arose when the windshield wipers were used (8/10/21); the passenger side wiper blade came off the arm. The mechanic was contacted and his reply was; "Those were the wipers that they gave him" with an attitude. I send 3 emails to the company and got no response on 8/10/21 and tried to call but only got static when the call was answered. 8/10/21 7:32AM ET, another email was sent that include two videos; showing incorrect blades. They will not honor warranty, said I voided it because I replaced the blades. So as to not void warranty, I was not to use the car? Read their warranty it is full of got you terms. Best advice, use another company.

The service I experienced was top notch. I see mixed reviews here. I would guess some mechanics are more skilled than others or something. But their concept is great. Really nice not to have to have someone drop me off and pick me up from the shop, and still get what I need done.

When you go the the site "yourmechanic.com", to schedule service you must give them your debit card numbers. I was a little nervous about it, but I trusted the site. A week after that someone within their company started taking small amounts of money until my account was drained. I know it was them, because it says your mechanic in the transaction description. I have filed charges and arrests were made. Do not trust this company!

"Alex was very professional, diagnosed my brakes, and even recommended holding off on the rotors for now given the condition did not need replacing. He took the time to explain some upcoming potential issues with the valve covers and spark plugs, which was helpful to know."

Patrick was wonderful. He sent me a text asking if he could come by earlier than our initial appointment time which worked out well for me. He changed the spark plugs and ignition coil and now my car runs like new. The garage wanted to charge me anywhere from $500-700 for this service. My total amount was less than half of that. Patrick was very professional. I'm telling everyone I know about this service and to NEVER take their car to a garage again.
