They were very pushy about getting me to sign up. After I declined, they contacted me again with a "new" offer. This second offer was for a "generic" listing is my understanding. I was not an "organic" listing? It is very confusing, but the ONE thing I am sure about is that it was a COMPETE AND UTTER WASTE OF MONEY. We HATED their customer service, and I was threatened and intimidated by this company. We were told that we had to wait a few months for the ad to bring results. We received ONE customer. It is VERY annoying that they use a different phone number to track calls. Existing customers would use that number and Yodle would argue that we were getting calls. Yes, from customers WE ALREADY HAD. All in all, this company wasted our time, we feel they misrepresented the amount of business we would get, and the time we spent trying to work with them was NOT worth it. Do yourself a favor and skip this headache.
I listened to the sales pitch that took an hour. Their sales strategy reeks of desperation and over the top, aggressive, rude and idiotic methodology.
I was not born yesterday and I never have encountered tactics like these in business.
If you have a good service, expect the company to offer money back guarantees, not 6 month contracts on an "Act of Faith."
I told him I act "On research" not faith, and then he used it again. He is either stupid or following a script, or he is a robot.
If you sign up with these scammers, you have too much money on your hands, and they are there to take it from the weak and desperate in society, nothing else.
How can a corporation generate leads for you? This is impossible as business leads are usually generated by word of mouth, satisfied customers. You can get your own business on the front page of the search engine on your own, if you have any common sense.
The fact is that your business needs to grow through satisfied customers, good values, and good customer service... something yolda knows nothing about.
Yodle is a complete joke. Their sales reps b. S. you with all this crap and get you to sign up thinking it is going to be cheap and what a bunch of b. S. that is. Just like the rest of you said the price skyrockets after they get you hooked in and there are many other ways to do this cheaper. I really wish I would have done a bit more research myself before I got involved with this fraudalent company.
DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND DONT SIGN UP WITH YODLE!
Customer service called promptly, explained everything clearly and made sure I knew I could call anytime with questions. Clearly a well run operation.
You give them $700 and the first thing they do is pull your existing local ads down and replace it with one for a advirt site to there website hosted on there site so you existing website ranting goes down. If you have problems no one will help you they will pass you from one person to the next and youll exsplan it 12 times before someone might acually be able to help. This company didnt work for me at all and it was a nightmare to deal with them. We are a cabling contractor and they listed us as a Electrical company... That does help me and they refused to fix it. Also the second you give them money its all people that can barley speak English after that.
Hi, Patrick: We’re very sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with Yodle. I’m surprised and disappointed to read your feedback as we pride ourselves in delivering stellar customer service. Our intention is to give all of our clients a positive, beneficial experience for their local business. We would like to look into these issues further and we are happy to explain more about why we recommend that our clients use adversites, which is primarily related to driving new traffic and conversion. Please contact me at jessica.mcginn@yodle.com or directly at 646-753-6362 if you would like to discuss this further. Thank you.
Representative was kind and informative during our phone consult. All questions were answered and everything was taken care of. Thanks for great support
She was extremely helpful with all of my questions and concerns. Her knowledge was able to guide me through parts of the dashboard that I was unsure about.
Absolute scam. Just Google "yodle compalints" and see for yourself. They take your money and mark up your clicks 500%. Avoid this company at all costs.
Trevor was very helpful, knowledgable and patient in explaining what is a new concept for me. I feel confident in further exploring my new Yodle account.
I just want to say Yodle's sales team is Austin, TX has some good scripts. They know how to sell you the golden goose, the magic bullet, or however you would sell a sure thing. I reviewed this site along with others. The most impressive review they had was the real estate agents video that was on their own page. So I decided to reach out to him. He told me that Yodle has the rights to that video and that he recorded it in his first months of working with them. He has moved on and chosen another company as they did not deliver or even come close. So when Yodle reached back out to me, I explained that their own video for Real Estate was not accurate and their response was that is one persons point of view. I went further to explain to the representative that the one person is the person they are standing by and showcasing on their webpage. I told them it might be best for you to take it off and record an Agent that has actually seen the system work for them. They said we might do that. They have not I will attach the link from their own page. Their response was back to reading their scripts and sending me more emails after telling them I was not interested. So Zero Stars would be appropriate but it wont let me so 1 star it is.

Yodle is going to be great for my limousine business. This will take my marketing to another level. Bonnie did a fantastic job in going over all of the information with me. Job well done Yodle!
Michelle Birch did a great job assisting me with changes to my website. She took her time and made sure that all of my requests were met. I really appreciate the time she gave to me.
I highly recommend Yodle for website advertising. I am a Notary and was just getting started with my business. At the time, I was only getting maybe 2-3 Loan Closings a month. Now, after about a month and a half of using Yodle, I am getting almost 2-3 Closings a WEEK and Simple Quick Notarizing jobs have started coming in Daily that pay instantly which is a major help in surviving the month. Megan in the Billing department is absolutely awesome! She is very understanding of the struggles starting a new business and has been a life-saver to working with me to pay my bill with Yodle. Thank You! Yodle! And, Megan, YOU ARE THEBOMB.COM! :)

I just got a cold call from a sales rep trying to sign me up for their services. I listened to the pitch and then told them I don't commit to anything over the phone without doing some research. I Asked for their website and the rep told me yodel.com.
She then proceeded with her sales script and was to the part about setting up a future phone call to have me sit at my computer to go through options, etc. I attempted to tell her several times that I can't commit to such a phone call and throughout my attempts, she didn't skip a beat in reading her script--very rude.
Therefore, I returned the rudeness by hanging up--I don't have the time to waste with people who don't give me respect.
She immediately called back explaining we were cut off. I told her I hung up because she wasn't listening to me about not being able to commit to the type call she wanted to set up. She then gave a condescending reply which earned another hang-up. She didn't call back.
While I wasn't going to sign up for their services during any cold call, I was going to check them out and I possibly could've been a client. But, after receiving such a rude cold-call, I really wonder what commitment such a company really has. Even if they are the best company in their field, I'd rather not deal with people such as that.
Ive been with yodle for about 5 yrs. Within a few months ive been getting phone calls daily for my company from the work they have done for me. Happy customer here.
I own a small Home Performance Contracting Company in California. Our sojourn with Yodle was the single worst decision in the history of my Company and a complete disaster that we *still*, more than a year later, haven't fully recovered from. Besides the initial cost and the monthly cost - for us it was $495 - we lost control of our web page on Google. Because there was multiple phone numbers claiming it, Google denied all of us, both myself and Yodle, access to it. I worked for a year, trying to get Google to give me back ownership of my web address. Finally, we deleted all reference to our web site from Google and started again fresh. That was about 2 months ago and we still, as of today, have not regained ownership of our web site address. This means we still cannot track or do analytics, and we don't show up on Google Maps, even when we enter our exact name. A true disaster. I give Yodle a NEGATIVE 5 stars - beyond just failure, they've done my business a serious, deep, and lasting harm.
I can understand that for some Companies and some types of business, the Yodle model can help but for myself, I rue the day I said yes to these folks. If possible, I would give them ZERO stars.
The tracking tools are awesome. I love the ability to know how effective the marketing is. They have great customer service and I look forward using Yodle to help drive my success.
We have had really great service with Yodle. The reps have changed a couple of times on us, but each one has made us feel like we are their number one client!
Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.
Answer: Yodle only cost me money and quite a bit of frustration! Tony
Answer: I have a spare wet-vac if you have extra cash laying about. Give me a call. It would be a better application of energy use.
Answer: Run Forest Run. They make promises. They will put wrong info on the web. Who spends 600.00 Before a return if you gat that. Run Forest Run
Answer: Dont do it.
Answer: If you get a website made. The search engine go by the 2nd letter in order for your site to be pulled up quickly. You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book. Magnetic vehicle signs, etc. Need more free tips email me at rstoutmire@yahoo.com subject line Javier S. Contractor. Hope this help you but don't pay any company any money for any work. Rhonda S.
