I have been with Yodle for about 4 years now.
Over the past year & half there service. Knowledge, caring about your business has deteriorated greatly.
They do not help your business grow or increase your seo or organic ratings.
When you call & question them they become rude beat around your question.
They say one thing & do not follow thru.
They were bought out by web.com about 1 year ago no improvement.
Look else where as I now have signed up with another.
This is not so much a complaint against Yodel but a complaint against their delivery drivers.
One particular driver is bad mannered, argumentative & lazy.
He refuses to deliver items to residents accomodation expecting to dump them at our concierge office.
Then he storms off when he's told he has to deliver it. I've complained to his manager but it's clear that they find it unimportant hence his continual unacceptable behaviour.
The saleswoman was extremely rude and unprofessional with my staff. We get hundreds of calls a month from real clients and she was outright aggressive and combative with my legal assistant when she refused to handle the intake process including asking about the company she allegedly had a claim against (i. E for conflict purposes) - stop lying about what you are selling.
They have charged my small business over $900 a month to establish a website and to drive leads on google. When I had my now internet savvy children check out my small business google account as my business has been suffering it was barely populated, not complete, not linked to all of the other websites- yellow pages, uber, yelp, etc. Whenever I have complained with yodle their response is that I need to pay more and more money. Complete waste of money. Do not use.
My small business was struggling and I knew that I needed to do some marketing and online advertisements, which was an area pretty new to me and didn't know much or very little about it. I have done some FB ads and that's all. But I guess it was not enough.
Since I had nothing more to lose I decided to ask for help from professionals.
They seemed to know the business pretty well since just after a small research I found them. So they have pretty good marketing which was a good sign in the beginning.
I contacted them, we scheduled an online meeting, they gathered all the information they needed about my goals and my business and in a week they came back to me with an offer.
I am glad that I accepted that offer even though it looked a bit high price to pay at that time, but it started showing results immediately. Now my customer base has grown significantly. They saved my business I think and I am endlessly grateful for that.
I can't recommend them enough!
Whenever I required assistance with my partnership with Yodle, I had consistently exceptional encounters with their customer service team. In particular, there's a woman named Michele with whom I had the opportunity to address some concerns and requested changes. She not only displayed professionalism but also had a down-to-earth demeanor and a delightful personality, which made our conversation enjoyable. Her approach instilled confidence in me that they are indeed the ideal partner for my needs.
When you are told delivery will be on a specific day, ignore it, delivery will be up to 2 days afterwards and could be at any hour until very late. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend using them.
Beware when I evenchley found a phone number And wasted 38 minutes and was charged over 9 pounds for the call to find out where my parcel was its a total joke what was being delivered only cost 5 pounds they dont tell you that the phone will cost 45p per minute they are total rip-off never turn up on time and came 4 days later do not use
My business has been a client of Yodle for around 10 years, the only reason I stay with this company is they have provided results. I do know I am getting a bang for my buck, initially they help me capture reviews.The web site is some what antiquated, but is generating leads for the business.My biggest concern is I do not have a dedicated rep. For my account, any correspondence has been initiated by myself, was less frustrating to do business with before merger with web.web. They've been charging me forever... they never call me to check on me, never emailed me, never sent me a letter, just kept charging my card w/o my consent--and then they did nothing worthwhile for my business. When I tried to cancel, they made it hard on me to cancel too!
Advertising is an unfamiliar sphere for me, because I believed that my business can easily be run without any advertising. Of course, I was mistaken, because avdertising matters a lot, especially nowadays when the sphere of online marketing and online advertising is developing and already have plenty of results. I decided to apply to special services which could help me with advertising. I applied here and asked this company to hlp me with advertising. They explained me everything and set up advertising. I have already got plenty of customers and this service is awesome.
We've been using yodle for just a little over a month and have already recouped our initial investment. This is amazing, considering other companies we looked at claimed you can't expect much of anything in the first 90 days. Our rep has been fantastic - kept in close touch and addressed all of our concerns. This is by far one of the best ways to spend your marketing budget!
For anyone reading older reviews, please take into account that they have changed their models dramatically over the last few years. (We worked with them briefly about 5 years ago, but their new system is much improved.)
Being that we haven't worked with Yodle for very long we've seen some good results so far. A lot of the customers I'm now getting are first time customers finding me online through Yodle. It was pretty easy for us to set up our website and things seem to be working out well.
I started with Yodle about six weeks ago and the customer service and attention to detail regarding the marketing effort is amazing. Using their focused "search term" strategy, my law practice has picked up several good client prospects in just a few weeks. Bill D.
I've never had less than an excellent experience when calling into Yodle for assistance. All representatives are very knowledgeable, patience and sincerely want to provide superior assistance. Today we called in to make some generally cosmetic changes to our new website.
Agent Michele could not have been more accommodating. At each change she reiterated her desire to "get it right". Refreshing in this day of all too often lip service customer response.
Support in getting my internet presence optimized has been very good. Yodle reps are knowledgeable and very patient when helping me get through the set-up process. I can't wait to begin realizing the benefits of this customized multifaceted business improvement program.
Literally, within hours of my signing up with Yodle, a new client was established. Staff has been very encouraging, helpful, courteous, and willing to take the time to answer any questions about the marketing for your company. Seems very personalized, which feels good.
It's a little early in my experience, as I haven't had any business come thru as of yet... but they are very communicative and set the right expectations. Hopefully my money will be well spent eventually...
Yodle staff were easy to work with, responsive to my needs, and helped me generate clients almost immediately. I have more business than I can reasonably handle because of their efforts!

Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.

Answer: If you get a website made. The search engine go by the 2nd letter in order for your site to be pulled up quickly. You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book.
